The wife goes here every 3-4 months for a Hawaiian Perm, She says its a really good place to go to and I tottaly agree with her, The price isnt bad at all and best of all its close to the bus line, Love em.

I have always been a person who refused to pay more than $15.00 for a haircut but I always noticed that everyone who came out of this place had good looking hair (shiny and that perfect cut). I went in and $40 later I had a hair style that was perfect and felt the splurge was worth it. I went back later and had a different stylist and didn't quite get the results I had when I first went. Still good though, just not worth the money.
PROS: High quality haircuts - great service
CONS: A bit pricy - but worth it with the right stylist

Love My Hair!

I too am now a Lynn lover, as she gave me one of the best cuts I've had in years! She took the time to figure out exactly what I wanted and then cut my hair exactly how I asked her to. How often does that happen? It was perfect. She also managed to give me a cut that looks beautiful and glamorous when curled and styled, but is also somehow low-maintenance and looks great without any fuss. Thanks Lynn! We'll be seeing each other again.

Wow Lynn is the best!

Wow, Lynn is amazing! The word that comes to mind is hip. She is up on the latest fashions and techniques. I have only had my hair foiled in the past by other stylists but she used a different technique that yielded better results. I cannot believe the transformation of my hair from the time i arrived. My hair needed major work. She spent almost 2.1/2 hours on my head! I have been to her twice now with a third appointment scheduled! I am an extremely happy customer and feel that the price was unbeatable for the area. Lake Union Hair Design sits along Lake Union and the view is amazing with all the boats. They always offer a glass of wine and are not pushy with retail sales or upselling services. I always receive courtesy calls before my appointment and prompt customer service.
I have been to all types of salons from highend to private salons and the Lake Union has it all! I recommend it highly!

Best pedicures I've had in Seattle!

I recently moved to Seattle and tried several salons for pedicures, until I discovered Lake Union Hair. Cynthia is wonderful! She's very knowledgeable and experienced and takes her time so you really feel pampered. Plus she's a warm, caring person who goes the extra mile for her clients.

A great "Do" from an experienced stylist

I would recommend Lynn, who recently joined the salon, to anyone I know! I have followed her from her previous salons as she has tons of experience and really listens to what you want. I love the high lights she does - the color and placement are always just what I was looking for. Her cuts grow out good too. If you don't live in the neighborhood, it's worth the drive.

When I first moved to the Seattle area and was looking for a new hair stylist, I was a bit hesitant to try someone new. Then my friend recommended Lynn at Lake Union Hair Design, so I gave it a shot. Lynn was so friendly, young-spirited, and knew exactly what I was asking for. I was so incredibly happy and satisfied with the whole experience! I would highly recommend Lynn and this studio to anyone who is in need of a new stylist.

Best hair cut ever!

I usually have a hard time finding someone who can cut my wavy hair and get it how I like it, but Lynn did a fantastic job! She even had a few suggestions that worked out perfect. I highly recommend her if you want your hair cut right. Thank you again Lynn, wonderful job.

Wonderful hair cuts in a beautiful salon

Lynn is a natural with hair and always knows exactly what to do. I like "low maintenance" styles and Lynn is great with suggestions. I also love her expertise with color and highlights. This is a great place!

I was so thrilled to find this place, the people were super sweet, I felt at ease, I even got a glass of wine while I got my hair cut. They offer everything you could ask for. waxing, mani's & pedi's, facials & the best guys & gals that have all the style in the world with tons of fresh ideas to make you look updated & beautiful when you leave. I recommend this salon to everyone I know.

My girlfriend and I saw this place after we had lunch at Daniel's Broiler on lake union. I called the next day and got in for a cut because it was easy to get to from work and you can just park there. You walk down and around and end up pretty much on dock facing the water. Then I got velvet curtained off room of my own to get my hair cut in peace. It was an over all great expirience. It's now my permanent place to go.
