The first time I visited Northwest Harley I had the intention of looking for a specific bike to purchase. I looked around for about 30min and wasn't greeted by anyone. I was a little discouraged but understood that it was kind of busy and I didn't exactly go out of my way to seek out help. So, I emailed HD from their website and was happy that they responded quickly. I told them that I was looking into purchasing a HD but wasn't totally sure and just wanted to see what I could learn first. Tyler communicated well and set me up with the new sportster that I was interested in. I know I can be pain when it comes to making large purchases but they were patient with me and I left with what I felt was a good deal (after extensive online research) on the bike I chose. They treated me fairly even though I wasn't spending 30k on a bike. I've been in a couple times since over the last month for accessories just to look around.. even the people who didn't help me purchase my bike remembered what I ride and greeted me. So, overall I'm happy with the experience and am choosing to return to NWHD to purchase my accessories even if I could find them elsewhere for a little less. Pretty good experience for me and I've recomended to friends and coworkers already..

I didn't know anything about bikes, but wanted one. I went to NW and was greeted at the door by an attractive gal who asked if she could help. I told her I was looking for a bike and she passed me onto a fella named Julio who asked me a bunch of lifestyle questions, what attracted me to bikes, how I was going to ride it, etc. After an hour of listening to me ask more questions, a Road Glide was recommended...which I later purchased. I am writing this only because I came across this page and saw one person saying their motto wasn't fitting. Maybe THEY had a bad experience, but all I can tell you is I love that bike, recommend NW to everybody looking, and would buy there again if you could ever pry this bike away from me and my daily commute! Great job Northwest Harley...you are The Friendliest Shop on the West Coast.

In keeping with the nationwide trend of establishing large, nicely designed showcases alongside major freeways, this building is very good looking. Interestingly, their advertising claims they are "The Friendliest HD Dealership on the West Coast." Well, if this is true, I'd hate to visit one of the others. On at least six different visits, 1/2 with my wife, I (we) might as well have been invisible.

Now, maybe we just don't "look like HD people"--but I would suggest that they should change their ad slogan to something more like this... "Come on in! If we think you're one of us, we'll talk to you and explain about the heritage of HD and how we can get you in the saddle!"

I took my $$ and bought a Honda VTX 1800 (and in addition to being able to outrun an OEM HD, I put about 10-Large in my wallet.).

PROS: Good location, easy access, good looking building, lots of beautiful bikes
CONS:
