Food is good for the price, however, the waiting staff could be better. We were not asked if we wanted drinks, and then never saw the waitress again. So much for a refill or special orders. Quality of food depends on the time and who is

We love to come here. Even our ten year old likes it, okay, so all he eats is the edamame, shrimp rolls and grapes, but he likes to pick them up off the conveyor belt, BY HIMSELF!
The prices are reasonable and the wait staff is so so. You might have to flag them down for a drink, etc. but the prices are great.

Service is usually terrible and I often have to get my own drinks. Occasionally the food will taste very old, curious I asked the guy making rolls behind the counter how he kept track of how long a dish had been circulating around the restaurant on the conveyor belt. He smiled, laughed nervously, and went back to making rolls without saying a word.

Great sushi for the price. All plates are a dollar plus a dollar charge per person above age eight. Also tax. Servers are quick and pleasant although sushi hana is busiest during lunch and dinner they can be forgetful then considering there are only 3 servers.. All handrolls are also a dollar and include just about anything u want. Right now beers are 2 dollars for regular sized and 4 dollars for large. Great for family dining! Casual and laid back not much ambiance or flair.

They are having all plates $1 annual sale and I had 5 plates. Total came to $7.xx. ???
Food is OK. It gets crowded during lunch.

Well if you are looking for the McDonald's of sushi this might be the place for you. Whenever I go into a sushi bar and see the little machine that presses out the rectangles of rice for sushi I know this is kind of the C grade sushi bar.

A - upscale, hand made ultra fresh fish, highly trained chefs.
B - You neighborhood good sushi place, everything is hand made and made to order.
C- What I call sushi factories, just cranking out product, to fill stomachs and maximize profit, no much thought goes into the craft.
D- is the stuff you find in your supermarket, hopefully freshly made in store and stored in refrigerator section near seafood section.
F- Sushi DON"T GO THERE

Each plate is a dollar, they come around on a conveyor belt that travels around the sushi bar. The sushi rice is descent, again middle of the road. The fish seems reasonably fresh but is sliced paper thin, so the fish to rice ratio is out of balanced.

If you get it when it first comes out the Shrimp and vegetable tempura plate is quite good, for a buck it is a steal. It is as good as any tempura plate I have had in upscale sushi bars. Although they can go a little heavy handed with the tempura coating. The fried squid is very good also, tender and very tasty, best thing I had I think.

I went in for lunch had 7 plates 3 salmon nigiri, 1 spicy tuna roll, 1 shrimp tempura, 1 fried squid, and the sesame balls with red bean paste filling. This with a soda, I paid just under 10$.

A great deal, if you want a quick bite, and craving sushi and you don't want to spend a lot, this place is worth a shot. Just don't expect much ambiance or frills.

I went there twice and the first time was great, there was no line and I was able to pick out a seat. The next last time I was there it was busy, so I placed my name on the sign in sheet. The girl skipped my name 3 times, then finally a waiting customer told her that she was skipping me, and all the waitress had to say was "Oh Ok" what the heck girl!

Have been going to Sushi Hana for many years. Have seen the same employees work there for may years also. Each time we arrive, we are greeted by name and made to feel at home. The food is great...the service is very quick. I take my out-of-town guests here often as it is fun to watch the conveyor belt bring the food to us. Highly recommended!

I have been coming to this address for 3 years. I have witnessed a slow decline in the quality of food and service over that period, but they have reached a new low on my most recent visit. I saw dollar knife leave. I have seen the authentic Japanese chefs replaced with chefs that have little to no experience. The cuts of meat have went from very fine to stubby little chunks that look like they were torn apart instead of cut. But in July I saw the worst thing ever. I ordered a tuna roll. The chef made the roll without wearing the sanitary gloves, and when he was cutting it he happened to slice his finger with the knife. Instead of sanitizing the work station and the knife and throwing away the contaminated food he served it to me and then put a band-aid on his finger while kneeling down. I just stared at him and he didn't even wash his hands. While leaving we noticed him talking to the other employees and then dip his finger in some red sauce and then lick it while not washing his hands. I've had enough time to look for a new sushi bar. I hope the restaurant gets closed down.

Pros: I can choose not to go here.

Cons: Chef will add a little DNA to your plate.

This is my kids' favorite place to eat. We love the concept, the food and the price. If you want a great family environment and a fun place to go for sushi, Sushi Hana is the place to go.

The main draw for this establishment is that they offer 1$ sushi on preselcted nights. Call to find out when, and go! All the plates on the conveyer belt are only one dollar and are decent. You can also get noodles, gyoza, that sort. Make sure you order the mochi ice cream for dessert.

And I'm even a vegetarian. There are still many options, like miso soup, and cucumber salads, and those little ice cream ball things. It's all freshly made right in front of you and if you want something you just take it. The only downside is that due to their schedule, sometimes they don't make what you'd like to have while you're there, but you can always ask. I love it.

For a great sushi fix, at a minimal cost, Sushi World is the place to go. It is quickly becoming a favorite of ours, and why not? With the conveyor belt moving choices in front of you, and the sushi chefs making fresh sushi in front of you, it is very entertaining. The prices are amazing, no plates more expensive than $2. The sushi chefs will make any requests you have, though the waitstaff could be more attentive. All in all, a great place to hang out for some good sushi.
