The owner charges way too much for everything. $25 per draft ($10-$15 is the correct pricing you'll find in other stores). $40 per pre-release (should be $25), and he wanted $10 for Balance (valued at $2) and $15 for Ajani Vengeant (valued at around $4). Junk rares are $3-$5, all uncommons are $1, and commons are $0.25. I understand the need to charge more in a small community, but these prices are exorbitant.

I too disagree with the Negative response. I have been going to the Sanctuary for more than 7 years now and I love it! It is a great environment to be in with many helpful people willing to give you advice on deck building and so forth. The prize brackets for the double elimination tournament packs are MUCH better than 1 pack. There are even BONUS packs for beating the owner! The fact of the matter is that The Sanctuary is the ONLY card shop in the valley worth going to. There is a place on the East side that just opened, but I went there and it's always dead and very small. The operator was also very snooty and treated me poorly when I asked questions about a set.

Their singles prices are triple what they should be, their buy back on singles is Terrible offering 1$ for cards worth upwards of 40~55, their box prices are over the top, their owner is usually to busy playing in his own tourneys or raiding on wow to be of any help. Only way to play there is league, Casual players are a no go and everyone there will tell you just how bad your deck and strategy are even while you beat them. and league is so expensive its a crime. The place feels more "Exclusive" then it actually is, like going to a restaurant that brings you a wine list and all that's on it is Kool-Aid. They also have a restroom, that the owner will begrudgingly let you use, so that's good? DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE

Highly dissagree with the negative responce. I'm also a Wenatchee resident & Sanctuary has been a wonderful experience. FNM there is alot of fun & if you can beat the owner (which it's legal for him to play in) he rewards the winner with a free booster pack on top of the prize support. Since it's double elim then players can win up to 2 free packs! Booster packs are $4.50 after tax. Obviously the above player needs to learn how not to be a loser. ;)

For anyone that wants to play Magic, DO NOT PLAY HERE. The owner plays in his own tournaments, with no judge present. Little to no prize support (2 boosters for first place and you have to beat the owner too or it's just 1). $25 for FNM, stock above MSRP.
