5 Stars: My favorite Thai Restaurant (by Roy H.)

I have been going to King & I for 11 years now and without exaggeration, have dined there close to 400 times. I have seen cooks and staff turn over a few times during this period. Nonetheless, albeit the decor is simple, the food is consistently very very good. Keyword: CONSISTENT.

The friendly servers and management along with reasonably priced high quality food, is what keeps me driving back even now that we live 18 miles away.

If you like seafood, the Emerald Seafood is an amazing melange of scallops, prawns and squid with a few Thai fruits/vegs and a delicious green curry sauce that is to die for. More mundane standard bearers like Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and Rad Na dishes are the reasons that there is a large contingent of regulars here.

But their special dishes from lamb to vegetarian offerings and their fabulous soups are what I return for. Try the Thai BBQ Beef appetizer called Nu Yang and you'll beg them to serve it to you in an entree size the next time you return.

I have easily taken over 100 clients to King & I on business and have always received rave reviews from my guests.

I love this place!

4 Stars: Authentic, reliable, and delicious! (by Alisha W.)

We've been going to King and I for about a year or two now.

I think some dishes are better than others. We have found the stir-fry dishes to be just okay - nothing exciting, not terrible either - but the Crying Tiger beef salad is something we just can't stay away from.

Our ideal meal there is to each get the Crying Tiger and then an appetizer of calamari.

4 Stars: Excellent Pad Thai (by Brian F.)

My wife and I love The King and I! This is a small 'ma & pop' type establishment that is very clean and the food is affordable and excellent. We highly recommend the chicken pad thai. You'll find it extremely busy, particularly during lunch but it's worth the wait.

PROS: Chicken Pad Thai
CONS: Few parking spaces
