My under warranty dishwasher was making some noise so Frigidare gave me Bob's number. He came out, and after listening for a second said that I had glass in the pump causing noise.... but that problem is not under warranty. He said I could pay him to remove the glass, but the problem would just go away after a while. So, since the second option was free, he just suggested that I let the glass work its way out itself. AWESOME- not even a charge for a service call!

Bob will be the first person I call if I ever have any problems with my appliances (under warranty or not). Thanks Bob!"

I found Bob's through a relative of mine when my washing machine broke down. Its an oldie so I thought there was no hope, but guess again, Bob's fixed her right up and its worked for the past year without any problems.

When my refrigerator suddenly broke down, I knew that Bob's Appliance Service was the best place to contact for quick, dependable, reliable service. I called Bob's office on Monday and was told he would contact me between 7:30 and 8:00am on Tuesday. And just like clockwork, he did contact me at that time and arrived around 9:30am that day as he promised. He knew exactly what the problem was and proceeded to fix it. He was courteous, professional, and personable. I would highly recommend Bob for any appliance repair work. He's been in business for some 35 years and really knows what he's doing and is straightforward about what the costs are and alternatives. I will call on Bob whenever another appliance goes beserk! Thanks Bob!

We called to schedule an appointment for 11/11. The lady we spoke to never gave us an appointment time, so we called and left a message on 11/10 asking them to call us back with an appointment time as soon as they could so we can plan other things. Bob calls us back the morning of 11/11, saying our name is not on his book. But he offers to come to our house that day between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., and promises to call us when he leaves the previous location. He never called, and was a no show. Ridiculous.

This vendor flaked on the job last minute leaving me in a lurch. I work 6 days week with very long inflexible hours so when bob told me he would be available on my day off after 3, i booked him to come . i rearranged my schedule and was home ready and waiting by 3 PM. at about 3:30 i checked my message and to my horror, their was bob telling me that he decided to call first and since i didn't pick up my cell (i didn't hear it and he never told me to expect a call), he concluded i wasn't home. i called bob back within less than 5 min (per time on my cell) of the message on the cell # heleft me but bob never picked up...nor the next 4 times i called him on his cell and work phone every few minutes. when i finally reached him on the 5th try he told me his "truck was locked for the day" and he refused to open it and come out. not only wasn't he apologetic, he hung up the phone when i told him i was going to post my experience on yelp. now that's its late afternoon on a sat, no chance of getting another vendor out so bob's flakiness means i won't be getting anybody until my next day off. bob--if you don't want to make good on a job, don't take it. i would have been more than happy to have called the next vendor on my list, but assumed when you said you were coming you meant it.

I was having trouble with my dryer leaving brown marks on my clothing and making a weird noise. I called the company that manufacturer my stackable washer and dryer, who referred me to Bob's Appliance Service. He called me back the next day and set up an appointment that was convenient for me. He was on time, courteous, and professional. I felt the service was great and reasonably priced.

I called Bob's because I believe in giving my money to small businesses. He came out and repaired my washing machine which is just over a year old. The bill came to just under $400. Problem solved. . .so I thought. Just three weeks later the same problem arose. After 3 calls and being told several times that Bob had no idea who I was, I finally spoke with him in person and said he would call to schedule a house call. When I returned his 730am call he was very upset with me for "not answering and wasting his time". After managing to drag this out past his 30 day guarantee, Bob told me to "find someone else because his work is out of warranty." I was blown away!! When I tried to reason with him and asked why he wouldn't stand behind his work he hung up on me.
I'm not the type of person who complains about every silly little problem or customer service issue. I just don't think this company can be trusted. I read the reviews here before choosing Bob's and ignored the one negative review. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!!!
I've filed a formal complaint with the Better Bus. Bureau. My first EVER formal complaint of any kind.

I had assumed that my old washer was on its last legs and would need to buy a new one. Turned out, it was just a hose that needed re-secured. The repairman was very polite and clearly knew what he was doing. Considering the trip charge (if he hadn?t been able to fix it) was almost $60, the final bill of $90 was very reasonable.

Yet again, here is inconsiderate appliance place. First, I was put on hold forever. Then, the woman on the phone tells me that it is basically 200/hr but they can "do me a favor" and get out to see me today. Well, being as though my fridge was out and I didn't want to lose all my food I agreed to be seen between 4-6 PM that day. I called back to confirm later that day at 3 PM although never got a call back. The "service???" professional never showed up, and never called. We waited until 7:30 PM....we had already cancelled our appointment for the next day with another company. I placed a few more phone calls, and never even got an apology.

This is the first review I have ever written on here....But I have never dealt with a more inconsiderate, expensive bunch of people ever who provide no service in a service industry.

Oh yeah, had the problem fixed two days later for half the price.
