Cafe Juanita

I love this restaurant so much I got married there. In 2003, my fiance and I tied the knot on the lovely "garden patio" behind Cafe Juanita. The food and the cake were astounding, and all our guests wanted us to get married there several more times so they could try other dishes. My husband and I have been back for anniversaries since then. Our servers are always very knowledgeable - from one, I learned the subtle distinctions between a "brodo," a "ragout," and a "sugo." From the small touches to the grand gestures, like bringing out our dessert with fizzing candles on our anniversaries, dining there is an experience that takes me out of myself. Even the plain butter is better than regular butter! It's pricey, but oh so incredibly good in so very many ways.

Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's worth every "dollar". The food is done to perfection. I have been to this restaurant several times and will keep going back.

The hype is true. Cafe Juanita is worth every penny spent. The food is fabulous, the preparations well thought out, the staff are knowledgable and polite. The food is always delicious and I have never had a poor meal. Ever.
The desserts are perfectly sized, just enough to enjoy every morsel, but not enough to stuff you and leave you uncomfortable.
Holly Smith is always visible and friendly enough to say hello on a special occasion. We are lucky enough to get gift certificates every year on our anniversary to this amazing spot, and we wouldn't change up our routine anytime soon.
This will continue to be our anniversay spot every year.

I received a gift certificate to Cafe Juanita, and read up on the local reviews before attending. The chef- Holly has gotten amazing reviews from food critics for her fresh ingredients and unique dishes. I must say that I was expecting a lot when I arrived. This cafe (more like a fancy restaurant) certainly lived up to my expectations!

PROS: Food, Chef, Atmosphere
CONS: Not in a convinient location
