I have been going to Wooden Cross Lutheran Church for over a year and have felt welcomed and like I belong. I wasn't sure what to expect since i just moved to the area in 2005, but they were the first and last church I checked out. They are not the largest church -- large churches can be difficult to feel a sense of belonging. Wooden Cross is an honorable little church in a quiet little part of Woodinville. Their nursery is great, safe-- and my three boys love it there. Sunday School for the little ones is great and they learn! As with many churches-- Wooden Cross is looking to grow, and incredibly they have the space-- 5 empty acres next to the church where maybe someday they can expand. I would recommend this church to anyone who is looking for a family-friendly, music-inspired, liturgical lutheran based worship home. Try them out, and don't be shy. See you Sunday, either 8am or 10:30am Sept-June, or 9am in the summer months. http://www.woodencrosslutheran.org for directions.
