We've have spent a night at Willows and also had spa treatments. The room was beautifully decorated and we loved the gas fireplace. The room had a small patio to step outside & look at beautiful scenery. They staff were helpful & kind. The spa was wonderful. When I was 7 months pregnant, I was in a car accident and had some back pain. My husband treated me to several massages and I was treated like a queen. They were aware of my large belly and I was the most comfortable sleeping the nights I had the massage. They are a bit pricey, but you worth every penny you spend.

I received a gift certificate for a one night stay at willow's lodge with dinner for 2 at the barking frog (onsite restaurant). I felt like a movie star in the spacious and elegant rooms. Dinner was world class and beyond delicious.

PROS: An amazing experience
CONS: Pricey, but worth it.

I have never stayed at the lodge but have toured it when it was a possible wedding site for us. Very warm and cozy. I love the sheltered outdoor ceremony area next to their herb garden. I have been to the spa for several services and have been very impressed with their prices and friendly staff. I am always comfortable and relaxed when I am there. I have received product samples to try at home before I buy as well! I highly recommend you giving them a try!

Have been going to this spa for approximately 9 years. Have tried others, but this is by far the best. I go for 1 hour or 90 minute massages -- it is the ultimate reward for yourself, or gift for someone in your life.

The spa is in a great rustic location, great amenities (beautiful hot tob, sauna), very quiet, professional staff. The products used, and the massage therapists themselves are second to none (I particularly recommend "Nancy" for a therapeutic or deep tissue massage... they also do facials, and recommend "Dusty" for a facial).

It is what you imagine for a spa to reward yourself, or as a gift. A 10 out of 10.

ps and tip: (for the Willows Lodge you can buy gift cards at Costco online, which have a $100 value, but cost $75 -- which is a great savings)

Unless you plan on being part of the loud group of drunken idiots who goes tubbing at 2am then immediately demand a new room if you're placed anywhere near the jacuzzi. Why it isn't locked afterhours is simply inexplicable. Guests should not have to deal with that kind of nonsense at $300/night.

** Update **
A representative of the hotel contacted me via email shortly after our stay. The representative was most apologetic and assured me that our first experience was an aberration. I accepted his offer to give Willows Lodge another shot and I will update this review again once my wife and I have had a chance to return. In the meantime, I'll bump the review by a star to reflect the effort on their part to make amends.

Pros: Friendly staff, cool room

Cons: Loud, drunken idiots at all hours in the jacuzzi

Went here for a couple's massage on our wedding anniversary. We went at 6pm and there was no one else there which was nice. We got the hot tub, which was set in a quaint garden, all to ourselves. We received our massages in a beautiful plush room that THANKGOD wasnt done in an Asian theme. We got a 90m couple's massage which was amazing and relaxing. Everyone was very personable and kind. We left wishing we would have booked the longer couple's treatments!

Pros: good atmosphere

★★★★★

After an exceptionally difficult couple of months, I decided to treat myself to a spa day and chose the Spa at Willows Lodge for my destination. I had the good fortune to have Dusty do my anti aging facial - a wonderful treat! Next was a pedicure that I would rate as just average partly due to the location and appointments of the pedicure room. I enjoyed a wonderful lunch followed by an anti-aging body wrap and the most wonderful 90 minute hot stone massage which were perfectly executed by Nancy. I will definitely be back and would recommend this spa to anyone looking for the ultimate in pampering

Pros: Excellent staff and great services

Cons: Spa itself is quite small and not too glamorous.

Romantic charm in the heart of Woodinville Wine Country! The Willows Lodge exemplifies a luxury appeal to couples seeking out a place for sanctuary and above all else, Love. The intimate rooms are well appointed with fireplaces, LCD TVs, Patios/Decks, a soaking tub with separate walk in shower, and French Press maker. Every detail has been thought of as you begin your enchanting stay. From creative cuisine that can only invigorate your palate, to an extensive seductive wine and dessert list, love is purely in the air. Experiencing the richness of The Willows Lodge will leave you feeling utterly relaxed and intimate. The 24 hour secluded outdoor spa is an oasis of pleasure. Whatever your heart's desire while at the Willows Lodge, make the time significant. From the simplicity of lying in bed watching a romantic comedy, to dining in the comfortable Fireside Lounge, my visits to The Willows Lodge have always been remarkable. February is 1 month out of 12 that we may celebrate love. My advice, escape to The Willows Lodge and indulge!

Pros: Spa, Wine Country, Scenic, Warm, Luxury, Charming

Cons: Books quickly during summer & holidays so book in advance...

My facial was fabulous, I felt so pampered. Sharee did an excellent job and was very professional. I would highly recommend her and I will certainly be back. I am looking forward to seeing the gardens in springtime.

Pros: Comfort in Rustic Elegance

Cons: Can't think of any...its a gorgeous place.

My wife and I went here for a half day package that included lunch. We wandered from sauna to treatment to sauna in cushy bathrobes. I had a massage, facial (yes...real men get facials) and salt rub. We had lunch under an umbrella in the garden. It was raining but we didn't care because we were still toasty from the massage and sauna. As I said, pure bliss!

Pros: Full service spa with a relaxed atmosphere

Cons: what cons?

★☆☆☆☆

I wanted to book a treatment for the following morning and intended to pay with cash. According to their policy I was asked to provide a credit card number for their file. Since identity theft is very common nowadays and I wanted to pay cash anyway I did not get to experience the ?pure bliss? at Willows Lodge. Oh, well I?m just hoping that another spa will accept my cold hard cash...

Had a wonderful, relaxing time at Willows Spa. My facial was very well done and I will be back. My friend had a massage and also agreed that it was great.

Only draw back is going when it is busy. The spa isn't set up for big groups. Schedule your visit on off hours. Only because there is very little space for changing.

My husband and I stayed at Willows Lodge for our anniversary and had a wonderful, romantic time! Beautiful, stylish and cozy rooms -similar decor to Sun Mountain lodge which we love. The most comfortable and luxe bed ever and adorable fireside lounge downstairs with great food from the barking frog. Overall, cozy and romantic!

We stayed in the largest room for a special birthday celebration. They gave us complimentary wine tasting for my honey's birthday. The dinner was too expensive for what they offered, but was otherwise good. The room is huge, nice seperate shower and bath/soaking tub. Very romantic with the fireplace in the room. I hope to go back again.

Pros: free parking, great service, free internet, special occasion.

This was the worst hotel experience I have had in my life.

On the plus side, the hotel is very attractive and we enjoyed the food. The hotel booked us in a room next to the banquet facility where a wedding was taking place - our room was surrounded by wedding guests. The hotel was unable or unwilling to move us to a room where we could have peace and quiet.

If you go here, you must insist that you not be in any of the ground floor rooms next to the banquet facilities if you want to get any sleep. The hotel should only be using these rooms for banquet guests - it should not offer them to any other guests unless they aren't using the banquet rooms.

Overall, it is way too expensive for the shabby treatment we received.

Pros: Barking Frog - good food

Cons: Service was awful

★★★★★

We LOVE this place. It's less than 30 mins from Seattle, but it feels like you are worlds away. The rooms are beautifully designed, the outdoor hot pool in an asian garden setting is like heaven on earth, and you can even order room service from the Barking Frog. Perfect for a weekend getaway without the hassle of a long drive/flight.

PS Don't forget to check out the pigs they have in their garden which is owned by the Herbfarm!!!

Pros: Very relaxing, Close to Seattle, Great food

Cons: Expensive at times

★★★★☆

The Lodge is lovely, rooms beautiful. The tub IS right in the room, with only a glass wall separating it from sleeping area. Cool high tech shower- just punch in the temperature you want! King size bed, but a too soft, sagging mattress. No top sheet- just a comforter with (washable) duvet. So during the summer it's be too warm or sleep uncovered. The lighting requires an instruction manual to operate- takes a day or two to get the hang of it. There were problems with our reservation- I booked online and ended up with a spa package on a day the spa was closed- and they had trouble finding my reservation- but it worked out.

Pros: High tech, Quiet rooms, Ammenities

Cons: Sagging bed, Pricey

★★★★☆

Impressive from the moment you pull in the parking lot until you leave. Had a snotty reception person but was probably an exception. The rooms are big and have every technical gadget you can dream of, have never been in a more enjoyable room. Check out DVDs or music from front desk or a Network card for your laptop and you're on the high speed internet connection. Plan to explore the grounds with your sweetie. Woke up to a robin's song echoing in the courtyard against the blue morning sky, was wonderful. Location is peaceful, quiet and beautiful. Go on a sunny day (July) and see a concert at the winery, a romantic slam dunk! Can't wait to go again!

Pros: Cool Hi-tech rooms, Attractive decor, Peaceful setting

★★★★★

This tiny spa is a great place for an Eastside relaxer. I've had Christina for my massages and she is devine--very attuned to any special needs. My husband had Nancy in the other room and said his massage was super, too. The hot tub is large, serene, and bubbly--save time for it. Agree that the receptionist could be warmer, but I think it's just her style.

Pros: Mmmmmmassages

Cons: Tiny

★★★★☆

My wife and I stayed here a couple of Saturdays ago. We were impressed with the high quality of everything from the flooring to the furniture to the complimentary breakfast which included smoked salmon and Plugras butter. Pleasant grounds and friendly service. On the downside, the bathroom arrangements are bizarre; the bathroom is essentially a part of the bedroom - everything is quite open. And for those who are particular about pillows, these are the worst I've ever encountered: absolutely huge, uncomfortable, and, oddly, radiating heat. All in all, though, worth the money provided one doesn't pay the rack rate.

We did a overnight getaway (live in Kirkland) and had such a relaxing time. A+ service. Staff was very friendly, food was excellent, room was very nice with bottled water, great teas, bath products and more! Please we rented bikes and they packed us a lunch for our picnic. Just wish I had more time there! Only thing they could have done better was pack lunch with alittle more care, other than that, I was very impressed!

★★★★★

The lodge itself is beautifully built, the food nearby is excellent and its just a short walk to the lovely grounds of Chateau St Michelle.

★★★★★

A romantic get away close to home, my husband and I celebrated our first anniversary at the Willows Lodge on July 28th where we were pampered in a beautiful setting. The service was wonderful, the room exceptionally clean.

From the gas fireplace and huge soaking tub to the newspaper outside our door in the morning, our room had all the little details that make it memorable. We purchased the Do Not Disturb package, which added to our special visit. We will definitely be coming back to the Willows Lodge soon.

Pros: Soaking Tub, Quiet Atmosphere, Detail Oriented

★★★★★

I stayed in a room at Willows one night and enjoyed it immensely. The linens were wonderful, the bath was luxurious---oversized and deep. I truly enjoyed my stay.
