The new owner of Cafe Van Gogh has made some cute changes to the place. They now have a few more decorative touches, a little more color, new covers on chairs. Also have yogurt parfaits. Still great coffee, although sometimes, depending on who's making it, it's a bit inconsistent (sometimes tastes a bit burnt or off-flavor).

Hello, I am the new owner of Cafe Van Gogh located in Seattle's Wedgwood neighborhood. I purchased this quaint coffee shop in December of 2006 and welcome you to visit. I plan on making some changes to the decor (needed updating) and introducing more sandwiches and homemade pastries! My baristas and I have over 12 years of espresso experience and our customers claim that we have the best customer service in town! Your expertly crafted coffee is made right in front of you to ensure the highest quality and accuracy of your order. There is always tons of parking, so don't hesitate to stop by on your way to work for your morning latte. Thanks for reading this and I hope you stop by to check out the new changes! -Janet-

So I've tried many of the coffeeshops on 35th Ave NE since Craniums closed. I really like this one.

The ambiance is simple. The baristas sweet (knew what I had by the 3rd or 4th visit). The place was quieeeeeet. Lots of older regulars. Sometimes a sweet old yellow lab there :-)

If you want hip, this is not the place. If you want low-key coffee or tea (and they do some wine stuff apparently) in Wedgwood - try it!

PROS: Quiet, staff
CONS:
