This is a great store to bring your previously read books. They will pay you cash for your books or you can do what I like to do and get a credit towards buying books to take home and read. The store has a wonderful selection of books on just about everything.

This bookstore has books on everything you could possibly imagine. (and all for a very reasonable price) They also offer a wonderful service in which you can take your used books (in good condition) you no longer need and sell them back to the bookstore. I have been doing this for years and love it! I'm always using my store credit I earn to buy more books

William James Bookseller is an old-fashioned bookstore... The kind you waltz into on a rainy day, hoping a book will jump off the shelves into your hand, and when you curl up in a soft old velvet chair beside the shelf, you realize as you begin to read it that it is the PERFECT book for you. By some unseen grace or synchronicity, the book manages to speak to you...

I love bookstores all over the world and William James reminds me of Shakespeare and Co in Paris and my favorite bookstores in Reykjavik or Brooklyn...

It's not just any bookstore. It's a place of magic, hidden beneath the veneer of the ordinary realm.

This bookstore has everything needed to make it a world-class bookstore: a great selection of books, old velvet chairs, an excellent children's section, the smell of old books well-cared for, and eccentric beautiful girls working there.

The proprietor is realitively young compared to Ferlinghetti or George Whitman, so hopefully you'll still have quite a few years to mosey your way on over and check the place out, granted that the sea doesn't manage to rise too much, since it's located practically on the beach!

If you love books, this bookstore is worth the trip to Pt.Townsend. It has an intimate feeling that only the great bookstores have, the ones owned and operated for the true booklovers, and with something for everyone!
