I would be shopping here on holidays. I love the things they are selling, most are rare products you can't simply find elsewhere.

This shop is one of the highlights of every trip I take down to the waterfront piers in downtown Seattle. What a fun shop! There are all sorts of fun treats, "touristy" souvenirs, and other fun items to take away. This is the perfect

Pros: Free to browse, fun selection of misc. stuff,

Cons: You don't get to buy the mummies...

This is a must see for any visiting guest to Seattle. Be sure to head to the back of the store to look at some oddities that might leave you fairly curious!

If you have friends in town or just want to enjoy a stroll on the Pier, you must stop at the Olde Curiosity Shop. It has been around for years and a great place to find unique gifts and a taste of Seattle.

Do you think you've seen it all?! Well, not yet until you've stopped by The Old Curiosity Shop down on Pier 54 in Seattle. The things you only think happen in fairytales, you'll see preserved in Giant Jars. Three headed pigs, shrunken heads, who wouldn't want to go peruse the shop?

There are certain parts about this store that creep me out. The mummies, the wierd specimens in jars in the back corner, but overall this store is a Seattle must-see. They have everything from games, to toys, to Seattle souvineers, to sites that you would behold anyplace else. It's more of a museum than a shop in my book, but it is great fun - espeically when you take time to play in the shop.

If you haven't been, you have to go! This is the oddest store that you can wander for at least an hour in! It's not as much a place to buy anything as it is a place to browse. It's almost like it's own little museum of oddities. There is everything from shrunken heads, mummies, odd animals and folded dollars. It's down on the Seattle waterfront so parking may be tricky, but it's worth the drive!

This shop located on the waterfront in downtown. It's a favorite place to take tourists because it's unlike any other store you've ever been into! Almost like a museum with the weird artifcats that they have on display. You really have to see it to believe it. It's the best place to buy anything Seattle related because prices are really reasonable and they have a wide selection.

If you are a window shopper or love cool, interesting, or gross things, Ye Olde Curiosity Shop is a good place to kill some time. It might be a little intense for younger kids, but those who appreciate the weird will have a great time. The prices are a bit high, so everytime I go there I just browse. They do not have a lot of conventional stuff anyways, but that is the point of this store.

This is a cute tourist trap on Seattle's Waterfront. This store is one of those not to miss ones. While the shopping is very ho-hum (think tourist gift type items, ie shirts, toys, etc) there is a bigger draw. This store has many authentic historical items shich as coins, knives, and baskets. The largest draw is the 2 mummies that you can get up close and personal with. Well, not that personal as they are behind glass, but close enough for my tastes. They also have a collection of shrunken heads which were a lot more disturbing than the mummies!!

This shop gets very busy but is a definite not miss.

Ye Olde Curiosity Shop is located on the Seattle Waterfront, just north of the Ferry Terminal and Ivar's Fish & Chips (look for the dancing clam on the weathervane).

This is THE place to buy Seattle-related souvenirs---don't spend high dollars getting a pencil at the Space Needle---come here and get the same pencil for under $1 (instead of $3 there!). They have a huge selection of t-shirts, key chains, ashtrays, etc.

Also, take a look around the place and see all the neat collections they have on the walls. THere are 2 mummies there, an old nickelodeon, and many long-dead animals in jars of Formaldehyde. Very interesting even if you don't want souvenirs!

Yes this place is full of oddities and cool neat things. It's a great place to find that unique gift, or to just look around and see all the strange things that I'm not even sure how to describe. Kids love coming here and always seem to get a kick out of squishing a penny. It's a big part of Seattles history and it's been here for what seems like forever.

This is a really cool place to go if you are in the area. They have some really cool novelty stuff. The store has been around forever and has some great stuff. The prices are pretty darn good too. The poeple who work there are cool also. It is a great place to go for small gifts for people in your life.

This is a classic. There is a mummified mermaid and a real mummy, carved grains of rice and every manner of touristy knickknack to buy. Some greta old photos and I always love the penny mill. Actually the whole waterfront has penny mills that are pretty cheap souveniors and fun to make.

PROS: touristy
CONS: touristy!

Everyone - tourist and resident alike - MUST go to the store. Its a little wierd - okay a lot wierd - but that's why you have to go. Need a Seattle trinket? They've got. Shotglasses, mugs, t-shirts, kids souvenirs (jump ropes, pencils, etc) and knick knacks galore here.

Its also a museum, of sorts. So while your shopping check out the mummy, shrunken head, various carcasses, etc. Sound a little freakish? Sure, but worth the visit.

PROS: Everything Seattle, odd things

This place is great shopping loads of old antiques and ancient arcade games. All manners of crafty do dads and nic nacks. This place is great for something different and the it is located on the waterfront so the view is free. The pier it is on also has the original Ivars (See review)

As far as I am concerned, this is the only place to buy souveniers in Seattle! The store is so huge and full of the weirdest and best stuff imaginable. If you want souvenier t-shirts, mugs, commemorative plates, shot glasses, jump ropes, etc., this place will probably have it. Plus it's located right along the water of Elliott Bat, which is so nice - a great walk on a sunny day!

Ever since I was a kid my parents used to take me to this shop as the highlight of our trips to downtown Seattle. It was a real treat because you were constantly wondering whether or not the trinkets in this place were real or false. It's a great place for tourists, out of town guests, and/or friends. There's a ton of tourist stuff to buy here that's authentic to Seattle too. Some of the things you might find here include: shrunken heads, pigs with three tails, and even a mummy. The shop is located on the waterfront of Seattle.

PROS: Great place to wonder though.
CONS: Prices are a bit expensive.

Everyone has to go to Ye Olde Curiosity Shop once, whether you live here or are a tourist. It mixes the usual tourist shop kitsch with all sorts of odd memorabilia from the last 100 years, sort of like an odd freak show. There are mummified people, shrunken head, carcasses of all types, pickeled two headed pigs, etc etc. For me, I get a little weirded out after about 10 minutes and can't take anymore. But, I strongly suggest you go there at least once. Bring your tourist friends (especially with kids).,
