After our first training session with Brandy, I could not recommend her more highly. Brandy is very perceptive and in tune with the dogs and their handlers. Her explanations and examples are very clear. The information she imparts is completely invaluable. She is able to put dog "problems" in context, explain why they are occuring, and give you the steps to work toward a solution.
Most importantly, by helping owners actually understand the behavior/motivations of their dogs, Brandy empowers the handlers to learn and grow, rather than prescribing a couple of exercises and watching them do it mindlessly for an hour. She even gave us notes from the session, which was so helpful! I can't believe how much I took away from just one lesson.
My only regret is that I did not schedule a session with Brandy sooner!

I very enthusiastically recommend Brandy as a trainer to any dog owner, but especially to anyone who, like us, finds themselves with a dog who wants to write the rules. We think Brandy does fantastic work and had we done our initial puppy training with her we wouldnt be doing the remedial training now.
Our male Golden Retriever was much more difficult as a young puppy than our previous dogs and when he hit puberty at 8 months he became aggressive towards other dogs. With neutering him and working with another trainer we thought that we had solved the problem. Unfortunately at 15 months we found that wasnt the case when he got kicked out of doggy day care for attacking another dog. The owner recommended Brandy to us as a trainer who is known for dialing down dogs who think they should be dominant.
Brandy has been great in helping us change our habits so that we get the dog to respect our commands. Some of the habits were changing are due to using a Gentle Leader to control the dog for the last year rather than expecting him to be responsible for his actions. Others go back as much as 45 years so they are very hard to change but with Brandys instruction and encouragement and persistent work on our part we have seen tremendous changes in our dog. Its really beginning to be fun walking him rather than being dragged or making constant corrections. He is being to obey our other commands reliably as well.
We are now starting to work on ending his aggressiveness towards other dogs. We are confident that we can make major changes in this behavior as well. We are particularly grateful for Brandys patience in training us since memory problems have made learning very slow for one of us.

I have a bluenose pitbull who is a little over 2 years and is the sweetest little girl you've ever met, but being a pitbull she has quite the stereotype. I found Brandy and snoline kennels after interviewing and hating other kennels, as well as being denied for her breed. As a new dog owner and having spent all of Kitty's life with her, i had quite the anxiety boarding her. But after i picked her up and watched Brandy interact with her my anxieties have been relieved. Now whenever i need to board her she is so excited to arrive, loves seeing brandy and has left me stress free to enjoy my vacations. I would highly recommend Snoline Kennels to any dog owner!

We found Snoline Kennels through Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue. Brandy was fostering a young yellow labrador retriver who had been released by her family because she was too much puppy. We found Snoline to be a clean and comfortable facility. Brandy provided shelter for this young animal, as well as ten sessions of foundation training. This dog is full of puppy energy, but we were able to see her potential and trainability as Brandy walked us through her training routine. We've had "Bailey" for two weeks now. Shes becomming a beloved member of our family. We will be persuing additional puppy classes to reinforce her initial sessions, but are confident she has the ability to settle into her role as a K-9 companion. Thank-you to Brandy at Snoline for your committment to Labrador Retriever rescue, and for giving Bailey a second chance.

We're very happy with Brandy at Snowline Kennels. We were going out of town and needed to leave our Lab mix in a kennel for almost two weeks. This was not something we take lightly. I came across Snowline kennels on the internet and read the reviews from happy clients. I read about her board & training sessions and thought that would be good for my almost 7 year old dog that needed a little help on some issues we have never been able to solve. When we came home from our trip we found a much improved dog and Brandy also helped us learn what we were doing wrong. We're working to improve our skills so we can keep our new dog. We Learned alot and will use Snoline again. Thanks Steve & Margie

Our dog learned a lot...but we learned more. Brandy (our trainer) helped us identify ways we could improve our communication with our dog in our private lessons that I don't think we would have gotten in a typical "class" setting. We really learned "dog" language, so she can be a happier more well adjusted dog. We accomplished all of our goals and really enjoyed the time bonding and learning with our dog. We are definitely going back for additional lessons! Thanks Brandy!

Fabulous kennel. Brandy really knows dogs and takes meticulous care of them. It is the first and only kennel at which we have felt fully comfortable leaving our three dogs.

We have 2 Min Pin's...a male and a female. Our male was abused before we got him and our female picked up a lot of his traits from him, even a lot of the bad traits.. (She even pees standing up now!) :) We were going out of town and had to find somewhere to kennel our dogs. The first place we called was booked up and referred us to SnoLine. We are SO happy that they did!
The difference in our dogs just from kenneling them and taking one class with Brandi has changed them dramatically. Everytime I go in I learn new tips and tricks for training...and most of it is for us...not our dogs!
The knowledge of the SnoLine kennels staff is extensive! Our male has some health problems and the care he receives is top notch! Our dogs come home smelling better than when we dropped them off!! And they are always happy to see Brandi!
I would HIGHLY recommend this kennel to anyone looking for boarding or training. Thank you SnoLine for such great care of our 'babies'!

Snoline is fantastic. They have been a lifesaver over the years, taking care of our dogs any time we need to get out of town. In addition to that, I've taken many of their classes to help my white dog be a "good citizen." He is dog-aggressive, so Snoline is the only place I feel comfortable leaving him. He loves it there, and the last time I dropped the dogs off, he went in and sat by the door to the kennel waiting to go in. We probably wouldn't have been able to keep him without Brandy's help, and the availability of the kennel, so he owes them a lot! All in all, we are extremely happy with Snoline, and strongly recommend all the services they provide

I have used Snoline Kennels twice in the past few months and felt compelled to share my experience. Having never boarded my dog (Layla, Rhodesian Ridgeback, 2 1/2 yrs), I was nervous about leaving her for the first time. Living in Seattle, there are seemingly hundreds of kennels available in the metro area. I decided on Snoline after reading some of the gushing reviews online. I wondered if choosing to make the drive to Arlington would be worth it. Immediately after meeting Brandi, I knew I had made a great decision in choosing Snoline.
When you take your dog to Snoline, you are getting an experienced dog owner/handler to take care of your precious cargo. Brandi is extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions/concerns you may have before leaving your friend. Before both visits, she patiently let me ramble on with all my "instructions" about Layla's "quirks". :)
On my second visit, Layla was coming off of a fairly serious bacterial infection, and also had a swollen paw that needed to be monitored. Brandi was more than willing to adhere to a restricted diet, as well as monitor Layla's paw and administer meds as neccessary.
It's really great to know that while I am out of town, Layla is in good hands. Although she's always excited to see me at the end of her stays, the way she jumps onto Brandi before leaving shows me that she enjoys her "vacation" too!
Thank you!!

I have a 2 year old Pit Bull who I adopted after fostering for seven months. I took her to three training classes at another palace and her obedience was ok but her attitude was awful. I was geeting pretty discouraged because I was doing everything suggested to me and she was still having issues.
I decided to go see Brandy who was recommended from the rescue even though SnoLine is almost an hour and a half from my home! After only three training sessions we have made so much progress! We have gotten rid of the muzzle and my girl is successfully walking near strangers and other dogs. I am now confident that my dedication to continued training with Brandy will be successful and that I will make this girl a Canine Good Citizen yet!
I highly recommend Brandy... the drive to SnoLine is well worth it!!!

When a waterpipe in my home burst in December causing extreme damage, my family & I had to move into a hotel and overnight we had to find a place to board our three large dogs. I was referred to Snoline through a dog rescue organization I volunteer for and it saved my sanity! Our dogs are a very key part of our family & initially was so worried about them, the care they'd receive, etc. Brandy has been wonderful, very communicative & reassuring during this entire 8 week stay. We make the drive up on alternating weekends to visit our dogs and they seem very happy, definitely well cared for and in great shape. Besides them being home with us, we couldn't ask for more.

We've been using Snoline Kennels for over a year and are most highly pleased. We have two corgis who tend to be difficult with outsiders. However, when we pick them up, they are both happy to see us and happy to see the owner of the kennel at the same time. On the drive home, they seem very content unlike when we've left them at other kennels and they cried all the way home.

When I got out of town on business, the only place I trust my German Shepherd with is this kennel. It is so difficult to find a kennel that you can leave your dog with and know they will be well cared for. Most kennels charge for walks or play time yet this kennel offers this as standard without the extra cost. They also don't pay young inexperienced staff to care for your pets. The owner is there to book your dog in, care for your dog and ensure your dog is well taken care of.

i have been using Snoline Kennels exclusively now for almost a year. I travel often on personal and business trips and it is so great to have a good-quality kennel to rely on for my large dog, Kipper. He is always very well cared for. I am impressed by the professionalism shown by the staff and the knowledge & understanding they have about dogs.

I came home from my vacation to find my two little spoiled doggies obviously WELL taken care of and better behaved. I now have no qualms with leaving them at Snoline Kennels. We are all taking training lessons, and the doggies had NO problem going back to the kennels. Ran to the door with tails wagging behind them. Thank you Brandy you've been a great help.

We did board and train with our stubborn, spoiled, awesome coonhound. We came back a week later expecting only marginal improvement and were blown away. She went in knowing absolutely nothing and terrible on a leash. Now she can sit for extended periods of time, walk on a loose leash, stay on her mat, recall (come over and sit), and is just generally exponentially more well behaved. We are completely amazed what they could do in so little time, if I could give them more stars than 5 I would.

Snoline Kennels is the best boarding/training facility in Snohomish County! I have taken 3 classes with each of my two dogs and we continue to learn from Brandy and her staff. Snoline is a very professional, comfortable environment and I would never trust my dogs anywhere else. Brandy has many years of experience and it shows by the results I get from my unruly dogs!! She is one of the few training classes that will work with dogs that have aggression issues. Our dogs have taken both the Canine Good Citizen class as well as basic obedience classes. She is a wise trainer who gives many insights into a dogs pack structure and need for leadership. She is firm but extremely kind with our dogs and they LOVE her. We are very lucky to have found Snoline!

How can I describe to you all what Snoline Kennels means to me and my family? Freedom and peace of mind are a few words that come to mind integrity, honesty, understanding, patience, and kindness follow.
I am the very proud owner of a red nose American Pit Bull, he is my Boy Named Sue, and he lives up to his name in every way. Over the years, he has developed aggression towards dogs and people not in his immediate family (my son and I). I had pretty much resigned myself to early spinsterhood as I could never go anywhere for a length of time as no one could babysit Sue for me; nor could I have anyone over to my house as he would not let them in. I found Brandy and Snoline Kennels through a series of referrals from veterinarians, trainers and kennels that refused to see him. Brandy gave us a chance, and he did well. After one full day at the kennel with Brandy, Sue is remarkably better on his leash during walks, and the tricks for home Brandy taught me have definitely altered his perception of me as his pack leader. The best part -- this is just the beginning!!!
I know the road ahead will be long and that Sue will be a constant work in progress; and I know he will never be the lap dog that I wanted, but he is worth it. This dog has taught me to be a stronger person, and having him in my life has given me confidence to do things I never dreamt I could. I know with Brandys careful instruction, I will truly be able to offer this dog the quality of life he deserves and has earned.
Thank you Brandy, for giving us a chance and for offering such a wonderful, clean facility to learn in (and for me to take a break!).

When we got our boxers a few years ago, I took them through the Canine Good Citizens class. A few years went by and I needed some boarding services so I called Snoline Kennels. One of my boxers has some allergies and he gets quite miserable from all the itching. I have been working with vets for a few years and I have had him on some very restricted diets with no luck. When I brought them in to be boarded, I told Brandy about his situation. She has such a wealth of information! She gave me some much needed advice, but it was when I returned from our trip and saw my boxer that I fully understood how much she knows about dogs. He has never looked better and his itching completely stopped. He was bright eyed and excited, not miserable and itching constantly. Thank you for all your valuable information!

I noticed Snoline Kennels as I drove to and from my Ranch on Hwy 530. I had an Aussie puppy and while I did know how to train basic obedience, I had no idea what to do with a sensitive herding dog. Nor did I know what to do with a dog who at 3 months was clearly far smarter than I! (My mother always swore she would never have a dog smarter than herself... Huh???? Needless to say, I soon understood exactly what she meant!) Zona was never badly behaved and she learned stuff very quickly. While she went through board and train at another excellent facility closer to my home in Seattle, she clearly was waiting patiently for me to figure out how things were supposed to work! Thank goodness for Brandy!
After several stop ins to chat and check out the place (aren't all boarding facilities this clean and fresh smelling??? I gather not from what I have heard form other people!) and James and Brandy (always willing to patiently explain things to me), we arranged for Brandy to come a bit further out Hwy 530 to my ranch where we could start Zona on herding some roping steers that we had there. It became very clear that I was the one most in need of educating! II have to admit that it took several trips out before I would not hide behind (tiny!) Brandy! And I learned that my aussie really appreciated it when I stood up to any belligerent steers. I could only flail my staff harmlessly at them, but they always got the message and moved off! And Zona would leap back into work.
Then Brandy mentioned that her new litter of labs was old enough for visitors and could use the socialization. So, of course, I had to offer my services!! And now I have Diesel, one of her chocolate males. Now I have another mellow (Zona is very mellow!) dog who, while he would like me to believe he is a "dumb blond", is actually far smarter than me as well! There is really nothing dumb about him! And he and Zona are great buddies with seemingly boundless energy!
Brandy has worked with both my dogs from that point on. She trains and shows them for me - and then lets me know what I evidently actually do, like bend my knees when I say "OK". (That is still something I have to think about!! But it did explain why Diesel seemed to "anticipate" the command!) I travel fairly frequently and they are always thrilled to return "home" to "Super Mom"! While both have been demo dogs for her classes, more recently Diesel has been busy continuing his retrieving training and Zona has been busy teaching grown up people just what they can expect from a truly trained dog. (She is particularly thrilled when they bring a baby with them - her favorite kind of "herd"!) She likes a job and Brandy found one for her that she excells at while she's there!
Your dogs will most assuredly enjoy their stay at Snoline and be sure you take advantage of the wealth of information about dogs (including the various breeds, individual personalities, training, health and care) that Brandy and Snoline Kennels has to offer!

I miss Brandy and Snoline Kennels desperately. I started boarding my dogs with Brandy late in 2008, right up until we moved to Rhode Island midsummer of 2009. My Aussie and my German Shepherd are both rescue dogs, each with their individual issues that might have made a woman of fainter heart pass on us. But Brandy has been nothing short of incredible, and, particularly in Tony's case, a life saver.
Tony and I attended two of her classes, both Canine Good Citizen and her Basic Obedience Class. There is no doubt in my mind, that had I gone anywhere else, we would have been out on our collective ears in a heartbeat. Tony was, and at times still is, a challenge when it comes to other dogs. His aggressive barking and snapping, particularly at other male dogs, particularly on leash, was not only disquieting, it was downright trying. Brandy's calm and her leadership made it possible to work with Tony to boost his confidence (and mine!) so that we could start making real progress in both obedience and the socialization that Tony had been seriously lacking in.
I can say that, today, Tony is a very changed dog. He recalls, sits until released, and plays with other dogs (including an intact male) in our neighborhood. He's learned that people, a species that previously frightened him into fits of intense barking coupled with submissive urination, can actually be sources of great happiness and tummy rubbing. At just over a year in our care, he is slowly achieving the dog that we dreamed he could be. And I absolutely believe that we could not have made it to this point without Brandy.

We have utilized Snoline Kennels for the past several years, ever since moving to the Arlington area from Colorado. Suffice it to say we are big fans, and, perhaps more importantly, so are our dogs. Brandy and her staff run a very clean, orderly and caring kennel, and their love and commitment to their charges shows through in everything they say and do with the animals. My wife and I have also participated in their training classes, where we probably learned even more than (though not as quickly as) our dogs did. Bottom line, they are a top-notch outfit, and I would unequivocally recommend them to anyone looking for a kennel or training facility.

My wife and I recently adopted a chocolate lab that was under the care of SnoLine Kennels. We were very impressed with the personal touch that Brandy gave our adopted lab. Prior to us adopting the lab, (and while the lab was staying at SnoLine Kennels), Brandy felt that this dog had potential and should be started on basic obedience skills. Brandy volunteered her time with this smart, but previously ignored, dog and started basic training. As we waited for the adoption papers to be approved, we would return to SnoLine and visit our new lab. During these visits, Brandy gave us exceptional information about caring for our lab, proper food, proper handling, and basic obedience training. It was a series of excellent, well-rounded, instructional sessions that got us off on the right "foot" with our new pup. Now, it has been two weeks since we have adopted our lab; and, we feel strongly that our wonderful pet started her new life at SnoLine...we're just following what Brandy started. Thanks again Brandy.

My sister and I are the proud owners of two rescue dogs. Yogi is a German/Aussie Shepherd mix and Kohl is a German Shepherd/Chow mix. We adopted Yogi in July of 2004, and he was such a joy and so incredibly easy, we thought it would be a nifty idea to find him a brother!
The search for Yogis long lost sibling begins . . .
We saw Kohl on the Pet Finder website and instantly knew he would be the perfect match! After Yogi and Kohl met and connected, things went rather quickly. It seemed like one minute Kohl was on the computer screen and the next minute he was in our living room! We soon found out that not all rescue dogs are as easy, breezy as Yogi. Kohl has been quite a challenge, as he was 5 months old and had little or no social skills. Even after attending basic obedience class, he remained suspicious and fearful. Boarding became a problem. We tried at least two boarding kennels where he was labeled difficult and/or aggressive and we were discouraged from repeat visits. Though Kohl had improved at home and we were encouraged by his socially-correct behavior at the groomers, he still had some remaining issues.
Fast forward to Snoline Kennels . . .
We set up a one-on-one training session with Brandy so she could meet our little Chow baby Kohl. She saw rather quickly that he did indeed have a few issues, but nothing that would prevent her from boarding him at Snoline. Since their first meeting (and with continued boarding at Snoline), Kohl and Brandy have forged a friendship. Weve been awestruck! It is truly heartwarming to see his tail wagging when we arrive at Snoline and Kohl sees Brandy!
My sister and I have come to the realization (with the assistance of Brandys wise and expansive knowledge of dogs) that Kohls main issue lies with us. We have not established ourselves unequivocally (in his eyes) as pack leaders! We must convey to him calmly and assertively that we are indeed the pack leaders and that he can trust us to lead in ALL situations. I know for myself that I have a tendency to transfer my apprehension and fear to him through the leash when I am unsure of how he will react to strangers or other dogs. Kohl, in turn, reacts with growling and teeth bearing. I then find that when I relax and hold the leash quietly and loosely, he relaxes too.
We have enrolled both Yogi and Kohl in the January Canine Good Citizen class at Snoline and are very excited because we know that this will be a very positive experience for my sister and I as pack leaders and for our boys as good canine citizens! They have found a forever home away from home at Snoline Kennels. Brandy rocks!

After checking out many unimpressive boarding facilities in Snohomish County, I found Snoline Kennels. I was very impressed with how clean and organized the facilities are kept and am always amazed with Brandy's level of expertise in dealing with any dog issue! I have also taken a basic obedience class at Snoline Kennels with wonderful results. The classes are professional and give you many tips for dealing with any behavioral issue you have with your dog. I will not board my girls anywhere else.

I'm a first time dog owner, who recently adopted a 9 year old daschund terrior mix, Wyatt. As a person who has only ever had cats, there has been a lot to learn about owning a dog. Wyatt and I recieved a lot of individual help during our classes at Sno Line Kennels and had a great time bonding while practicing at home. Lessons flow smoothly from one week to the next, allowing for each dog (and owner) to learn at a steady pace.Brandy is an excellent teacher, who helps coach owners into succesful trainers. Brandy not only offered excellent lessons for my dog, she also gave me great tips about dog health and safety, things I had no clue about. I would definately recommend her for any dog obedience/ training needs. Classes are convientent and fun! Thank you Brandy! (Wyatt says thank you too!!)

Hi people,
My name's Jed, and I'm a 2 yr-old white German Shepherd. My first family turned me over to Washington German Shepherd Rescue, probably because I'm big and stubborn, but I can also be very charming. I worked it good, and got myself adopted by my foster family about a year and a half ago.
I'm SO charming that I convinced them to adopt another foster dog - a really cute girl who I adore and have lots of fun with! And that's where the trouble began. See, she's only a year old; and even though she's really smart, she's got tons of energy and is kinda socially retarded. Together we can be quite a handful!
Our folks love us lots, but were at their wits' end with our antics. They needed professional help, checked out other places, but then got recommendations for Snoline from two different sources...so off we went to doggie boot camp for three weeks. I was really nervous at first, but Brandy was kind and firm; and my folks were really impressed - not only with her personally, but with how clean and well-maintained the facilities were. They were pleased it was a smaller place where we'd get lots of individual attention (group classes at other places didn't work so well for me), and they were glad to hear that Brandy herself would be working with each of us.
The best thing that's happened for me? Before I went to Snoline, everyone was complaining about how skinny I was. We tried all sorts of tests and vet-recommended diets, and I ate everything, but still didn't feel good. Brandy was really worried too, so she tried a raw food diet out on me. I LOVE IT! I guess it's kind of a hassle to prepare, so I'm really glad she made the extra effort for me and taught my mom how to do it economically so she can keep it up. I've gained weight, feel great, and am looking more and more handsome every day. And people keep talking about how good my poops are. Whatever!
The worst thing that's happened? Well, my folks were really impressed with what Brandy taught us, and also that she "gets" us. After spending 3 weeks with us, she was able to give personality assessments that no other trainer had bothered to do before, but that really help in handling and understanding us. Great. And it was pretty fun to show off on pick-up day, but apparently, there's follow-up to board and train...and now they're learning, too! We have to practice at home everyday, and then go back each week with them to work on things like "stay calm at the back door", "walk together nicely", "wait calmly in the car until you're asked to come out"...I know, right?
But still, even though now we know how to be good dogs (and have to prove it a lot) I'm really glad they found Snoline. Things are much nicer at home, they walk us together more often, and now when they go out of town, me and my girl have a comfortable, safe place to stay - where people really care about us! And don't tell our folks, but we have some fun there, too :)

Im the mommy of two beautiful doxies and they love Snoline Kennels! They actually come home with better manners then when we drop them off. I would recommend Snoline to anyone that loves their pet children as they are treated with respect and love the entire visit. The only bad thing about Snoline is that my girls sometimes like it there better then they do at home. They are spoiled rotten and it makes me so happy to have them stay at Snoline, it is literally their home away from home.
Love,

All the staff is great. My dog wags its tail as soon as we pull in the drive way and almost hates to leave. The kennels are spotless, scrubbed twice daily. my dog is walked throughout the day and gets his one on one time for play in the puppy yard. I've seen the staff walk through the kennels and say hi to every dog as they pass by or reach down to pet them. my dog can also be fully groomed while he's visiting. Its absolutely amazing. I know my dog is safe and well cared for when hes there. And he loves being there. i recommend this kennel to anyone with a dog, large, small, behavior issues, or perfectly mannered. Go to Sno-line

My name is Lisa Collins and Snoline Kennels saved me and my dog's career literally. I have a Black Russian Terrier which are a Guardian breed. At 5 mos old she started to become aggressive with strangers which is natural to the breed. The biggest problem is that I show my dog and she growled at a judge. I completely lost my confidence completely therefore every time anyone came near I was nervous and Breena read this as the need to step in and protect. Everything was my fault and my own reaction and I knew this but no matter what classed I took I could not kick the fear which triggered Breena's need to protect. Then I met Brandy (thank God). It took her about 10 seconds with my Breena and she was perfectly behaved. Brandy was in complete control and my dog knew it. Little by little with classes I started to feel some control and Brandy helped me change things I was doing wrong. Now my Breena is only a couple points from her conformation title and most important I am in control not her. No other place I had gone to was anything like Snoline. I highly recommend them to anyone and have referred friends. Everyone I have sent to Snoline has been very happy.

Washington German Shepherd Rescue would like to commend Snoline Kennel for their support! Our volunteers have found the kennel to be highly knowledgeable about shepherds and they have been proficient in their handling of any and all dogs that we have sent there for boarding. We have had many adopters attend various training classes through the kennel, and they rave about the quality of the training, the trainer to student ratios and the incredible value. Thank you Snoline Kennel!!

I have attended many dog obedience classes with my problem dog and never found one that really helped with her fear aggression issues. That is until I decided to try Snoline Kennels in Arlington! The staff has the best obedience classes for dogs with a wide range of issues. I was impressed with how patient and knowledgeable the trainers are. The classes are small which allows a lot of hands on training for each dog. I learned many techniques in the class that are currently helping me maintain control of my dog in the real world. This is honestly the best obedience class and extremely affordable too. They seem to specialize in helping problem dogs!

This is our second SPDR dog that we adopted through Brandy Burton-Tarantino. With that, we've known Brandy and her kennel since about 2001 (maybe 2002).
Both times we've visited Snoline, we found their facilities to be clean and well maintained. She's been a wonderful resource and a source of information for dog care and training. We've relied heavily upon her for her wisdom and experience in raising and maintaining an healthy and happy SPDR dog.
I'd also like to take a moment and "plug" the Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue. Many of us would like to own purebred dogs, but may be conflicted due to the high number of homeless pets. Personally, I found SPDR to be a great resource for giving a homeless pet a home, and also know (in general terms) what "breed" and teperament you're getting into. I don't think I'll ever purchase a puppy from a breeder, but will instead adopt through SPDR simply for that reason. There are many other reasons to consider SPDR, but that's mine.

Brandy is amazing. When I brought Lucy to her for a one month board and train I was very doubtful that it would make any difference. Lucy was 1 and 1/2 yrs old, crazy, and had been allowed free run on 2 acres with no training or discipline. I had to move her into an 800 square foot condo. But it did work. Brandy has patience like I have never seen, with both me and my dog. She has taught me how to be in charge and Lucy how to behave. We now love living together and everyone has said she is a different dog.

Snoline Kennels is absolutely the best!! Before finding them, I considered my dog "unboardable". She would not eat or drink even water and would snap at anyone attempting to put a leash on her to walk her. I had even been called by another kennel while on a trip out of state and told that somebody needed to come and pick her up - for her own health and safety. I don't consider her vicious - just old, spoiled and VERY set in her ways. I had pretty well resigned myself to never going anywhere without her. But then someone recommended Snoline and I discovered how incredible Brandy was. I was also pleased with my first impression of the kennel - spotlessly clean and well maintained. Initially, I left her for a few two or three day stays and she seemed to do OK. Then, when faced with an unexpected hospitalization, I was forced to leave her for two weeks. I still remember how delighted I was when I talked with Brandy a few days into her stay and learned that she was not only eating and drinking but starting to wag her tail!! Brandy's patience and persistence were beginning to win her over. Not only did my dog come home with better manners but, I now feel confident that I have a place I am finally comfortable leaving her. Thank you to Brandy and her incredible staff!!

I hate taking my dogs to a kennel - I'd rather them be at home where they are most comfortable. Normally I have a dog sitter who can come and stay with them, however there are times when that doesn't work out. When that happens - I use Snoline Kennels. I trust the care of my dogs to Brandy and her staff. I feel comfortable leaving my dogs in her care. I know that they will be taken care of.

I believe that TRUST is essential when leaving your family member behind for a trip, or because there just isn't the proper arena for dogs to be happy WITH the FAMILY. I have to admit to rambling around Puget Sound looking for a kennel closer to Seattle, cheaper (not such a big consideration), and easier than making the drive to Arlington from Seattle. But, in the end, my dog went to visit with Brandy and the pro's. The report I got at pick-up was "we walked him", "he needed play time, so we gave it", he got some "manners training", he was groomed and had his toenails clipped by that magic "zen" position that Brandy must teach everyone, and he came back to us safe, happy and a "better" mannered dog than when he went in. I wish Snoline would move to Seattle, so I didn't have to do that drive, but I guess I'll be doing it for some years to come. Mostly because Snoline gives the dogs what they NEED, not just food and water and safe housing. Now, don't go closing on me anytime soon. And don't get bigger, so that you cannot give individual dog special care. And, don't cut down any more trees. I do love and appreciate that you are out in the countryside. And keep on breeding the most beautiful lab puppies I have EVER SEEN.

*Dogs are walked regularly and cared for by professional and well-educated employees.
*Very clean facilities.
*Medication is properly administered on time, no worries about missed doses.
*Playtime is offered for more active dogs, mine enjoys her time playing one on one with an employee and getting plenty of petting.
*They also offer training which I found very helpful. Plenty of discussion about common problems and how best to solve them.
*I am so relieved that I can board my dog and never have to worry about her. I know she is getting the best care available.

If you need to board your dog you won't find a better facility than Snoline. We have 2 really big boys(Ger Shep mix & Rott) and know that when we leave them with Brandy & James that it will be the next best to being home. It is comforting to know that if a problem arises they could not be in better hands. And I doubt there is a cleaner better kept kennel business to be found anywhere. Snoline should also be your first consideration if you want any level of training for your dog.

I had come to Snoline Kennels through a very difficult situation. I have a big dog, a 100 lb red-nose pit bull, that required that I learn immediately how to handle and train him. Although a lot of kennels do promote their ability to handle or deal with agressive dogs, I found that their statements for the most part were not true. I was at the end of my rope, because my dog does not have many choices in the respect that his only choice, due to public perception and the media, is to be obdient. Brandy and her business Snoline Kennels, gave me immediate help in training and support. I will probably always have to work with this dog, but Brandy is always there for me to answer my questions and give productive and workable feedback. When I kennel my dog with Snoline, I never worry while I am gone, (a great thing) as my dog is cared for, disciplined and handled consistantly and correctly. The kennels are spotlessly clean and all the dogs are treated as guests in a wonderful facility. Obviously, I cannot sing their praises enough.Ann Marie Bright

We took our dog here over the summer on the recommendation of a friend. The staff was helpful in outlining their policies and took great care of our dog. We would highly recommend this place.
