We called ahead to see if there was a specific vehicle that was on special still in. They put us on hold a couple of times before saying that it was and asking us to schedule an appointment to drive it which would assure that it was there. They also took our phone number. An hour later we arrived at the dealership and were greeted well and introduced to the dealer we would be working with. He grabbed some keys and walked with us out to the lot. There he appeared confused that the vehicle wasnt there and told us it might be in an overflow lot that they have. He got the keys to another vehicle and drove us to the other lot. He did not use his seatbelt or turn signals and when he approached a yellow light he sped up to get through the light. We got to the lot and turned on our flashlights and walked around to help him find the vehicle. It was nowhere to be found. We returned to the dealership and he brought us to a desk so that he could go talk to his manager. He came back and apologized saying that the vehicle had sold the day before and that their website doenst update as fast as they sell things. I asked him what about when we call in to make sure its in? He said they didnt have that information. I asked him why they even have appointments or even check if anything is in. I also said that I felt like this was a bait and switch. He said it wasnt and knew that he might lose the sale due to this. We left the dealership. The next day we contacted the dealership again and asked if the vehicle was available. They told us the same thing as the day before "yes! its the last one left, would you like to make an appointment?". So needless to say we were lied to and if the vehicle exists then they have no intent to actually sell it at the advertised price.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE dealership. Doug Larson, internet director, was extremely rude and unprofessional. He even went so far as to say he had permission from Steve Crosetti, the general manager of the dealership, to be so rude to me.

Here is what happened: I called in about a Jeep Compass that was advertised for $12,490. After speaking with Mandy, I cancelled my dinner plans so I could come immediately to Tacoma Dodge because they wouldn't hold the vehicle for me. OK, I can understand that, so I cancel my plans and show up. Doug Larson sits me down and proceeds to explain to me that they are doing me a favor by selling this car to me. He tells me that the deal needs to be easy for him or else it isn't worth it to sell it. He quotes me $13,240 because my rebates are different and I don't qualify for all the rebates they advertised the car at. I can understand this too, so I agree to the $13,240. Doug then tells me that there is a mandatory accessory package - window etching - that costs $349, and that I don't have a choice, that I have to buy it. This I balk, because NO WHERE in the advertisement does it mention any mandatory accessories. I said I wasn't willing to pay for the $349 window etching, to which he told me that Tacoma Dodge didn't want my business, ripped up the paperwork and walked away. When I asked for his card, he said "Do you want my managers name too? I already called him." He wrote Steve Crosetti's name on his card and I left.

I will NEVER do business with Tacoma Dodge or any of it's affiliates. In fact, this makes me wonder about Chrysler as a whole...

Tacoma Dodge advertised a vehicle on lemonfree for one price, then refused to honor that price at the dealership. Then they charged 10.4% interest. He came home and refinanced it for 4.8%. In addition, I have never dealt with such an arrogant and obnoxious bunch. NEVER do business there.

It was a pleasure doing business with Tacoma Chrysler Jeep Dodge. The salesman was exceptionally helpful throughout the entire process, from the test drive to introducing me to my new truck. The finance rep was extremely efficient and gave much patience to my situation, phenomenal. The way Tacoma CJD does business is the way I think it should be done. They were fair, honest and efficient. I would absolutely recommend Tacoma CJD to anyone in the market for a new vehicle.

This review is for Tacoma Dodge. Took my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT Special Edition to Tacoma Dodge after horrible visit to Larson Dodge in Puyallup. We (wife and I) purchased our Caravan from Larson Dodge (Cash Purchase) in Jan 2006, Larson's Financial closer suggested that we should buy the Extended Warranty. I asked him why? He replied, "Because those sliding door and rear door motors cost between $300 to $500 dollars plus labor to remove the old one and install the new one. To avoid that, you should buy the warranty". I replied, "do you mean to say that the motors on our new Dodge van are NOT covered by the 36,000 mile factory warranty"? The Financial person confirmed that the Sliding Door and Rear door lift motors were NOT covered by Chrysler Warranty. The Salesman chimed in, "He's right. Those motors are very expensive. More than $500 just for the motor and to be safe, if I were you, I would take the extended warranty." We bought the warranty to cover the Sliding Door Motors and Linkage and the Rear Door Lift motor. Our 36,000 mile warranty expired and the right door motor failed. took the car to Larson Dodge but the motor was OK. The wiring was defective. Larson Mechanics reparied the faulty wiring and everything worked great. Last year (2009) the rear door lift motor failed. Our Dodge Van had 62,300 miles on it. The Extended warranty would expire at 70,000 miles. So, I scheduled an appointment to get the rear door repaired. Was told by Larson's people that the cost was more than $500.00 PLUS labor and Sales Taxes. It was then that I learned there was no mention of the motor or related parts in our Warranty. Like everyone else probably does, when we bought the van, we did not get the actual warranty documents until later. When the Warranty arrived by US Post Office delivery, I just put it with the purchase document and never looked at it again until the Rear Door Lift Motor failed. I trusted what Larson representatives had told my wife and I at purchase time. Liars Liars Pants on Fire at Larson Dodge. TACOMA DODGE was a much different story. Great service, honest work and very fair pricing. BUT, I NOW avoid Larson Dodge in Tacoma and in Puyallup. In my opinion, liars and con artists sold us our Dodge Van's extended warranty at Larson Dodge in Puyallup. That is my opinion and I am sticking to it.

I am very irritated about the customer service I have received from Tacoma Dodge. I cannot believe how dishonest some employees can be. I have purchased one car from Hinshaw Acura and two cars from Lakewood Ford and I have never had so many difficulties. First of all, I was basically told that I had to purchase the LoJack product because it was installed in my vehicle. I had a weird feeling and so I trusted my instincts and called LoJack on Saturday July 24, 2010 to confirm the installation of the Lojack. I actually was told it wasn??t installed. So, I went to Tacoma Dodge and ask to speak to a manager. The finance person intersected my journey to the manager??s office. I told him what I found out and he told me that he didn??t say it was installed and that the dealership was going to call me to schedule an appointment. I bought the car on Tuesday July 20, 2010. I had my car for five days at that point. I never received any phone calls. So, based on information I was given earlier in the deal, which was that I had to purchase the LoJack because the paperwork was already submitted to LoJack, I scheduled an appointment. The service department scheduled the wrong date. I asked for August 5 and instead I was scheduled for July 29. I found that information out because I called Lojack again on Monday July 26, 2010 to find out if I really did have to purchase Lojack. Come to find out I didn??t because it wasn??t installed yet and then the gentleman told me the date I was scheduled for and it was the wrong date so he corrected the mistake.
Right after I got off the phone I called the dealership and talked to Josh. He was very helpful and told the finance department I wanted to be refunded for the LoJack. The finance department called me around 1:20 p.m. and tried to cover up the mistake. I didn??t appreciate that so I asked to talk to Josh again. He was very helpful again and the check to reimburse the Lojack was made to Alaska USA and I was faxed a copy of the check. He also promised me running boards because of all the troubles I have endured.
I called the next day and confirmed the check was mailed with Doug Bivens and he helped me finish the process of ordering the running boards. I come home and it is sunny so I decide to take to Freedom top off and come to find out the screw on the left side was stuck and there are scratches around the screw. My dilemma is when I purchased the vehicle I made a point to tell the car salesman that it didn??t look right. He tried to fix it, but couldn??t. I didn??t have time to let service try to fix it on July 20 so I took the vehicle back on July 21 and the sales person brought the car to service. He comes back with my car and tells me it just needed WD40. I actually trust people??s word and I believed what he said so I didn??t look at it the finished product because I have never had problems with trusting other dealerships. All I ask is for honestly. Why am I continuously disappointed? Why can??t they just be honest from the start so they do not have to apologize later? How could so many parts of an organization be so inadequate?

AVIOD THESE SCAMMERS. Cars are WAY overpriced, salesman LIE. They told us they were not going to check our credit until we played with some numbers, we filled out the app anyways. We were told they would guess based on the information given and give us some numbers without actually messing with our credit. Well they lied. They ran our credit anyways and when I called they said it was a "communication error." No. We were told straight up that wouldn't happen. Now we got docked points for nothing. The salesman was pushy and annoying. We told them our budget and they continued to throw things that were above it in our faces. They were 2000 over bluebook, and then got mad when we pointed that out. BIG TIME rip off artists. RUN from them and run fast people.

Dishonest. Thought we bought a 2009 Journey.Took it home. Next day found it on cars.com (same vin, same everything) priced $6000 less than Mike, the salesman, told us it was on sale for. Billie in the finance dept said it must have been mispriced. 3 days after taking the car home we were called back to sign final paperwork. Billie told us pymnts would be $200 more per month. Haggled. Took our old car back. In 3 1/2 days they Never did get us the price we wanted, which would have been easy if they hadnt lied about the asking price. They re-listed the Journey on cars.com for $20,998-$6000 less than Mike said it cost.

This dealership offers a wide variety of new & used vehicles. We have purchased several cars from them. Salesman Scott Briske is always helpful, honest and if they don't have it, he will find it. Purchasing process was tolerable (as much as car buying can be) and we came away feeling we made a good decision on our purchase. Service department is friendly and accessible. Appointments are available when needed. We always send referrals their way.
