First and foremost the only reason I am giving a 1 star rating is that the beer is good. However, a new facility does not make a great restaurant. That is the basis for my review. I went there recently with a friend for some after work

Always had a good meal here and the beer is great and not too exspensive. Have even got a couple kegs for parties and well worth it for 10 plus people. Right on the water in the Everett marina.

My experience here has been in a keg from Scuttlebutt for a Super Bowl party. It was EXCELLENT. I have a slightly more sophisticated pallet now from when I was in college and drinking whatever was in the keg, and this beer was awesome. I recommend their kegs for any occasion you are planning. It's one of the things I remember most about the evening.

First of all they accept kids in the dinning room. Some brewery's don't allow kids. All of the Beer was extremely good. We had the fish and chips. Very good without being greasy. The dinning area was clean but not nice.

Pros: good beer without out a formal ambience.

I went to Scuttlebutt a couple weeks ago for the first time. My husband and I ordered the beer sampler - 6 ounces of each of their beers - only $8.00 (if I recall correctly). My husband had the seafood platter and I ordered the fish -n- chips. We forund our new favorite place for fish -n- chips. Prices were very reasonable and kids are welcome.

If you find yourself on the Everett waterfront looking for a place to grab some food you should totally go to Scuttlebutt Brewing Company.

And the beer is awesome too!
Mmmm, be sure to ask about the seasonal selections. Dy-no-mite!
I had been here several times trying other menu items and wasn't knocked over until I tried the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich.
Apparently one of the guys in the kitchen has a special recipe from Hawaii and he slow roasts the pork on site.
Other than it being a bit hot on my second visit (temperature-wise), I had NO complaints!
It's the type of meal you're gonna get messy with, so maybe not a good idea for a first date. HA!
Once you pick up the sandwich, you're not gonna wanna put it down anyway.
Hmmm, kinda hungry at the moment so perhaps I'll have to pay them a visit...
The only bummer is it's so close to the water but faces the opposite direction. A view would put this place in a league of its own!

Pros: Food and Beer, plus if there's a game on, the TVs will be tuned to it!

Cons: So close to the waterfront without a view; hours (they close around 8 on the weeknights and 9 on weekends)

ok i love their beer, far superior to flying pigs beer. great food too. but VERY noisy, especially if you sit in the "beer garden" as there are train tracks and lots of train activity. also the location is on the water, but the beer garden faces the street and tracks.

This is my local fish and chips joint. It has fresh beer of course because it is a brewery. My favorite is the Ruby with a hint of rasberry! I usually get fish and chips, although not exactly the best for me, it is my fatty splurge. Prices are very reasonable.

This is a casual lunch or dinner spot place for micro-brew lovers. The food is your typical greasy-spoon type fare- burgers, fries, fish and chips, with salads and other standards thrown in. But it is worth it to go for the beer alone (or especially the home-brewed root beer as mentioned below), and the food and service are competently done if not exciting. They also offer jugs of beer to go for about $10 (serves about 4) which can then be refilled at a discount.

Pros: great beer, great root beer

a quaint little microbrewery - food is good, not exceptional. Lots of fried stuff, but I recommend the beer battered fish and chips....... yummy.

If you don't like beer, try the root beer! They brew it there as well.
