I wish I could add a "+" to the 5 star rating. Dr. Cavanagh is an amazing, extremely knowledgeable and caring vet. Back in 2003 my little pit/chow had TPLO surgery done for the second time. The first time her surgery was performed at WSU--I lived in Ellensburg, WA at that time. I raved about WSU's vet hospital, they were great. A few years later when she needed her other knee done I wasn't living in Ellensburg any longer, I was in Redmond, WA. That said, I searched and searched the internet for vets with high ratings for TPLO surgeries and I found Tim Cavanagh in Arlington, WA. He exceeded my expectations and even, in my eyes, was better than WSU. Don't get me wrong, WSU was fantastic but Dr. Cavanagh is astounding! Dr. Cavanagh is now the vet I will always go to with ANY of my pet concerns! Just recently I referred a friend to him that had a large dog with shoulder soreness that did not get better with her vet's recommendations. Finally, after 6 months of her dog's shoulder issues getting worse, I told her to bring her dog to see Dr. Cavanagh. He took a single xray and was able to diagnose the problem right away. Unfortuneately her dog had osteosarcoma (bone cancer). My point here is that for 6 months and lots of money the dog's issue was never pinpointed until Dr. Cavanagh was brought into the picture. She has now changed her vet for both her pups to Dr. Cavanagh. Even though Dr. Cavanagh is much farther a drive than her previous vet, quality, knowledge, experience and expertise rank higher than short drive time. DR. CAVANAGH IS A SUPERIOR VET!

Dr. Cavanagh and is staff are the best. He did TPLO surgery on our dog, Nikki, and she happened to be one of the 5% that had problems with the anesthesia. Dr. Cavanagh lives down the street from the office and he went to check on Nikki the night of her surgery, around 10:00 pm. He was concerned, so he ended up spending the night with her at the clinic. His love for animals is very evident and his knowledge exceeds that of any Veterinarian I have met. Even though we liked our vet, who referred us to Dr. Cavanagh for the TPLO surgery, we ended up switching to Dr. Cavanagh as our regular vet. We just love him and all of his staff!

Hi! I have a little pom that is crippled, she needed spayed. I drove from Idaho around 400 miles away! To Tim because he is the only Vet I trusted to spay her!! She is doing great!
The whole staff is the I agree the best!!

Always helpful. Always caring. Always the BEST. I would be comfortable being treated there myself. :)
We have five dogs and would not go anywhere else.

There is not a better vet than Tim Cavanaugh at All Creatures. I trust him for all the most difficult surgeries, advice and appointments. When I had to have knee surgery on my 13 year old dog, there was only one vet I would go to and I drove all the way from Puyallup just to have it done by Tim. I recommend All Creatures to everyone who asks and if my friends are unhappy with their vet or they are feeling confused by a diagnosis I always advise them to get a second opinion from All Creatures. The best!

I wish I had known about this clinic when I first moved to Seattle in 2004. Not a whole lot of caring except when to pay for the services from the three other vets I've had in Seattle. I was astounded how kind the lady on the phone was, the prompt appointment the same day I called (even though they were busy) and high ethical standards of the doctor. I needed help deciding if it was the right time to euthanize my best friend and the Vet helped guide me through the process. He was professional and blessed by God. I'll never forget the kindness afforded to Jack Corona, my Beagle, my best friend. The grieving process continues but what an excellent experience to carry with me for all time. Thank you All Creatures Vet Clinic in Arlington WA.

In the summer of 2005, we were going on vacation and our dog needed to be updated on her vaccinations before we could board her. All Creatures was the veterinary office I drove past often, so I decided to make an appointment there. We only waited about 5 minutes before being taken to the exam room. The female vet was very nice in her treatment of my dog and recommended some dog training ideas during my visit. We were in and out the door in less than 30 minutes and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.

PROS: Nice staff, thorough exams, kind to the animals
CONS: Parking can be tricky
