Like most other Korean restaurants, when you order entrees at Hosoonyi, you also get free appetizer (which is probably included in the price of your entre) with your entre. The appetizer itself is like a little sampler of everything, which includes 4-5 little dishes of kimchee, sprouts, potatoes, anchovies, seaweed, and more. I like most things on the menu, but my favorite dish is the seafood tofu soup, its steaming hot because the wait staff cracks the egg at your table, and the egg is usually cooked in a couple of minutes.
PROS: Delicous Food! Great Price!
CONS: Wait staff speaks limited english.

This is my second favorite korean restaurant, 2nd because it's so far away for me! This restaurant is always packed. Beware of the crowd on Sundays, after church. Service isn't the greatest, because it's so busy. You'll see your waitress at the beginning, and end. That's it. If you need something, be proactive, and they'll get it for you. But that said, man, is the food delish, delish. The best. You'll notice it when you see your rice with peas in it. Pretty, healthy, and aesthetically pleasing! Everything on the menu is delicious, and authentic! Some favorites: kalbi is always good (our version of steak), daeji boolgogi (spicy pork), haemool pahjuhn (seafood pancake) is a little oily, but delish too!
PROS: Best korean food, authentic!
CONS: Service is always busy, and it's a little far.

Although I haven't been to many Korean restaurants anywhere, Hosoonyi is definitely by the far the best I've been to, and it seems to be the Korean restaurant of choice for almost everyone I've talked to for the whole Seattle area. There are big lines at busy times, but it's worth the wait.
