My sister referred me to Dr. Rinta and Neighborhood Pet Clinic about 9 years ago. When I called to get my cat into see her, another vet was there as Dr. Rinta was on maternity leave. This vet, Dr. Johnson, was sweet, professional and very helpful. I have taken all my pets to Dr. Rinta and Dr. Johnson since then. Their staff is friendly and polite and always happy to see me, or perhaps my animals.

When our cat was tragically run over and had to be put down at the local emergency veterinary clinic, the staff at Neighborhood Pet Clinic somehow found out and sent a beautiful and compassionate sympathy card. You know they care about each and every animal they see. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

I shopped around - by phone - before scheduling an appointment at Neighborhood Pet Clinic. I live in the Hazel Dell area and called 5 different vets in the area. I asked for prices of exams, vaccines, and a dental for my cat and my dog. I will say Neighborhood Pet Clinic wasn't the cheapest clinic, but they weren't the most expensive either. What made me choose Neighborhood over the others was the friendliness of the receptionist and the information she gave me when I called. The receptionist didn't just give me a curt price & then hang-up as if she was uninterested in me or my pets, she educated me to the advancements in vaccinations & that at the exam the doctor would discuss with me my pet's life style & then tailor the veterinary care to meet my pets needs.
How refreshing - friendly - knowledgeable staff that care about me & my pets.

The clinic is very clean and all the staff is nice while knowing what problems occurred with my cat and dog. The Vets, Dr. Jackie Rinta and Dr. Christine Johnson were both extremely welcoming and solved many problems with my cat and dog. they offer help even if you are having money issues and the receptionists know what they are talking about when it comes to helping your animals, too! I'd have to say this is the best clinic i have found in three states. Although this clinic is small they are professional and even supported the Humane society in the last Walk for the Animals help annually.Hands down this clinic's rating is a 10 out of 10.

When we lived in Vancouver we started taking our pets to Dr. Jackie Rinta at Neighborhood Animal Clinic (Now Neighborhood Pet Clinic) because the clinic was nearby.

Over the years she has treated our animals for many issues, including checkups, vaccinations, teeth cleaning and removals, allergies, urinary tract infections, skeletal (back) problems, arthritis, ear infections, and she even helped in the aftermath of when puppy Snickers chewed through an electrical cord during Christmas (took her to Dove Lewis during the initial emergency but Dr. Rinta treated the burns and other damage that was done).

She has always treated us and our pets with respect and kindness, and has staffed the clinic with friendly and compassionate people like herself. We love our pets but have never before found a vet who treated our pets as if they were her own. Through puppyhood and kittenhood, adulthood, and eventual sad endings she has been there for years, offering the best in health care, compassion, and love to our animals. We have come to think of her as a friend as well as a wonderful veterinarian.

In 2000 we moved to Oregon. Although it is no longer convenient to take our animals there, we still make the long drive to Vancouver for Neighborhood Pet Clinic to care for our animals. It's amazing that after 12-15 years (not exactly sure) much of her staff remains the same, which speaks volumes about the atmosphere there.

Our pets are family and deserve the best care we can provide, and that care may be found at Neighborhood Animal Clinic. Simply the best veterinary care we have found in 30 years and four states.

Dr. Johnson is wonderful and thorough. We were new pet owners when we first came in and she was very patient with us and our new cat. Answering all of our questions and reassuring us that we had made the right decision to adopt a pet.

I took my 3 year old akita in and after 2.5 hours and $400.00 they knew nothing. They lied about him being dehydrated and we had to pay for fluids that his body would not absorb. After the 2.5 hours they sent us home and said that they would call with blood results. For $400.00 you would think that they would know something.
