If you want extra stress in your life go to the SouthCenter David's Bridal.
by Meagan M.
If you enjoy bad customer service, telling a moron how to spell your name over and over again, and poor quality dresses by all means shop at this David's Bridal! A word of advice, the money you save by shopping here isn't worth the head ache of working with their incompetent staff. I had 7 bridesmaids, all of which got their dresses from the SouthCenter store, the actual shopping experience wasn't bad, all the fallow up stuff is enough to make you want to go buy a dress off the rack at the mall! I guess it's a common occurrence to miss spell names and get info wrong in the system. What's even better is only the bride can correct the mistake in-store (not over the phone I might add), and as you all know being a bride-to-be means that you have no spare time in your day to deal with an unapologetic sales girl who could care less that she works in the service industry. Save your sanity and go somewhere where they take pride in making your special day something to remember.

Worst customer service EVER!!!
by RaChLL W.
WOW, I wish I read these reviews before I decided to even step into the Southcenter's David's Bridal!
First they misspelled the bride's last name, so when we went to pick up the dress, they told us we were not even registered in their system.
Then once us bride maid's purchased our dresses, they charged us the full price, althought they knew we were suppose to each get a $20 discount, because the bride got her gown there.
Then they told me it will take about 3 weeks to have my dress delivered. 5 weeks later, I called them, and once again, they tell me neither me, or the bride were in their system. Thank god I saved the receipt!!!
Then once they figured out they never fixed bride's misspelled name, they noticed they shipped my dress to another state, IOWA :) So they told me that will take another week or so :)
Once my dress arrived, I went to pick it up, and gee :) imagine, the mistakes never end :) The dress came ripped (near my zipper). They tell me the reason the dress was ripped is because it was shipped state to state.. WHAT A HECK... is that a good excuse to have a ripped dress ?! that costs that much?! She was better off keeping her mouth shut, then making these lame excuses.
Then they tell me it will take half an hour to get this dress fixed. Like most people, I have stuff to do so I tell them fine...call me when it is done... I walked out PISSED!!! But anyways... 4 hrs later... they still NEVER called me to pick up the dress :)
My bride calls them for me, they hang up on her... she calls back again and asks the girl to talk to her manager, she tells her to hold, and hangs up on her again... :)
I will NEVER go to the southcenter David's bridal again..
They need to hire people who care to have a job and who know what they are doing....

idiots every time
by Gina M.
I was in a friends wedding, every time one of her bridesmaids came in to try on dresses her last name and file had been magically misspelled even after correcting it 3 times. Which took at least a half hour for the girl working to finally figure out. She didn't have a hard name to spell either. The staff hovers and is not the least bit knowledgeable about their products. The dresses are cheap and that is why most people use them. A few of my wedding party is getting their dresses there, in fact I have to call and complain tomorrow because they lost my sister's size and dress she had put of file to order again (not the first time). I'm really gonna be quite angry if we have to actually go in the store again to try on dresses.

Moronic staff
by Jake W.
I went into the store with my friend's fiance, who was looking for bridesmaids' dresses. First off, I overheard the sales staff talking about another customer, who was Lebanese. One of the employees thought Lebanese and lesbian were the same thing. The second employee corrected her, saying that she was from "another country, but I'm not sure where."
Secondly, when the employee was helping us, she was adding the totals of one dress and the accessories -- a $250 bridesmaid dress and a $50 shoulder wrap -- she gave the total of $400. When we corrected her math, she stared at us like we were idiots.

What a nightmare. I had to practically babysit the alterations staff. I had to return FIVE times to have my veil altered. They got it wrong EVERY time. They also lost my information twice and lost the appointment I'd made for myself and all five of my bridesmaids. I was NOT pleased with the service I received. A saleswoman also approached me with my dress, veil, etc. on and said, "think how beautiful you'll be as your daddy walks you down the aisle." My dad had died less than a year before. What a presumtuous thing to say! How terrible! Don't use these people.

Yes the prices are extremely cheap. But the dresses are cheap too. If you don't really care, you may be able to find the perfect dress here. But if you're anal, and very picky, and willing to spend a little more, you may be able to find a better dress elsewhere. They have TONS of dresses here. It's like a dress warehouse, and you can feel free to go searching around. I didn't have an appointment, and was able to browse on my own, and even try them on.
PROS: Tons of dresses to pick from
CONS: No styles that were absolutely breathtaking.

I found a very lovely wedding gown here for a very reasonable price. The staff were somewhat helpful, and the store has an incredible selection of gowns. We also got our bridesmaid dressses here and they were beautiful.

The dresses are cheap and the store is busy. Make sure to make an appointment and not go on a weekend. The dresses are cheap and not heirloom quality.

The selection is relatively good, customer service is poor. As soon as you walk in, sales girls ask if you are registered or have an appointment with them. If you don't, forget it, they'll walk away and continue to sit at their little table and do nothing. That's if you can even understand their English in the first place. I called to make an appointment and the girl who answered couldn't speak English well enough to assist me. The quality of the dresses is so so. Good if you're on a tight budget. Overall, you could do better.
PROS: Good prices
CONS: Nothing special same dresses as everywhere else, incompetent sales people

A Bridal Store That Leaves Something To Be Desired

First of all, when you walk in the door you are immediately accosted by sales women who insist that you must be "registered" with them before you can look at or try on dresses. The overall quality of dresses is, in my opinion, low. However, I will say that if you are a plus size bride this is a great place to shop (just try not to pay attention to their lack of customer service) because they will actually have dresses in the shop that you can try on that will FIT. Imagine that! Overall though, I wouldn't recommend this particular salon. I have heard that the Tacoma one is better.
