The owner is one of the rudest people I have ever spoke to in my life. It is hard to believe she is still in business the way she handles her customers. She treated me like I was trailer trash. I will never recommand anyone to Tasha Nicole. Never!!!!!

terry rudest lady ever, slammed the phone on me. lied about me paying her. downgraded me.putmedown! told me i sounded poor! kept changing prices on me for delivery fee. told me i had no clue what i was talking about and that i was cluless and all over the place with how i wanted my cake. she never ever took responsibility for the fault being all hers. she put me to tears she was so rude to me. told me to stop asking for all these expenzsive things to add to my cake because i was young and must be poor and on a tight budget. little did she know i had a lot of money for a cake. she kept my deposit and slammed the phone on me. took the day off when i drove 2 hours to meet her for a scueduled apointment that we arranged the week before. very unorganized. a disgrace to the industry!!!!! she tld me that i never paid her the deposit which was a lot of money. i showed her proof of payment and she changed her story. never scueduled the day for my wedding. she yelled at me, and wroe me a drty email after she hun up on me telling i was worthless.

I am so glad that so many people have been treated so rudely by Desserts by TN!! I phoned from out of state and needed assistance. The phone sales person was very pleasant but completely misrepresented their product. I phoned 3 days later to attempt to work with them on a price adjustment (rather than just disputing w/ my cc and paying TN NOTHING) and they were rude, uncooperative and would admit absolutely no wrong doing!!! They told me that I should have asked more questions!!!!!! Really? So an uneducated (in the baked goods) consumer should know all the right questions to ask? TN has no responsibility to explain their product, the sizes and the price??? Shameful. I will never use them, or reccomend them, to any of my friends or clients.

Our office regularly orders their dessert trays for our functions. These are always artfully arranged and filled with great and fancy tidbits. I don't know what the pricing is, but I'm sure they aren't cheap. They are however great tasting, attractive and nice for a variety of occasions.
My little sister was shopping for a wedding cake and stopped in here a year ago for a consult. Not only was the person she met with condescending, but she was also not at all interested in accomodating the schedule of the wedding with cake drop off. Most weddings are on weekends, so I would have thought this was a common practice. They didn't seem interested in her business, or willing to work with her simple requests so she left.

My future daughter in law had ordered her wedding cake through them. It was expensive, but we were OK with that. We paid the deposit, then when she went back to take in the ribbons, she was told the ribbons wouldn't work. My D.I.L. also told TN that she wanted her florist to do the flowers for the top, and that wasn't acceptable. The final blow was when my D.I.L. was told that her cake topper was "much too plain and much too small." At that point, my D.I.L. cancelled -- now we have ordered a cake at Safeway, for about $300 less, and they are VERY happy to work with our florist, and they LIKE her cake topper. But that's not really the point. It's HER cake, and it's what SHE wants.

I've never actually been in this place, so I can't comment on their customer service skills. We've had their desserts for work functions though, and they are wonderful. The dark chocolate torte was my favorite.

I have been a customer of Tasha Nicoles since they opened almost 20 years ago. I love the food and desserts! They always have that special thing to make a party or celebration perfect. And I always get ooooos and aaaawwws when I bring it to a ladies night out.

The one thing about the owners to keep in mind is that they work there ALL THE TIME. They have been doing this a long time and have heard every possible question a million times. But they do have a specific pet peeve, cell phone conversations when you are at the counter and loafers with a million opinions.

I really like the new shop design and decor. So fun and cheery and they added some great new bars and little yummies to the menu.

DEFINITELY WORTH THE DRIVE!

Pros: quality, serving size, ambience, over the top presentation

Cons: parking, minimal outdoor seating (weather permitting)

I went in on an empty saturday. only two other people in the bakery, both of which were already helped. i asked the blonde woman behind the counter, some simple questions about her laminated dough products. not only was she incredibly rude, she totally blew me off, and said "she didn't have time for this." i have never felt more disrespected in an establishment in my life. needless to say, the bakery was small, cold, and the service or lack there of, wasn't worth the time it took to get there, and wait to be treated that way. needless to say i will never step foot in that place again.

I am from L.A. and when I fly in to Seattle my wife and I are sure to make a quick dash to Tasha Nicole. We have them ship for us during the holidays as well as use them when we entertain through out the year. They have great service and yes they are expensive however you get what you pay for. Our daugher and son inlaw used them for thier wedding cake and all of the guests were very impressed and still talk about how wonderful the cake was. I've not tasted everything but what we have had has been fantastic. Brad

Desserts by Tasha Nicole is probably hands down the most wonderful eating experience. The chocolate tortes are to die for as well as the cheesecakes on a stick. If you are ever in Olympia Washington or any where near, you need to stop and have dessert and a latte. Try the chocolate fudge cake. And take home some Tasha Nicole cookies to bake. Your house will have the aroma of a bakery....... Sincerely, James
