IT IS MY PERSONAL OPINION that this apartment building is the worst possible choice for downtown Seattle living. It is not a coincidence that they ALWAYS have vacant apartments. I recommend anyone interested to think twice about moving to this place. Hell soon becomes everyday life, from the thieves that call themselves management to the noise, dirt and smell, STAY AWAY.

Cons: Parking, Management, Amenities, Rent Prices, Noise, Dirt, Smell

Anonymous is nuts! My husband and I have lived here for over a year now. Our lease wont be up till June. We rent a studio for 1065$ a month. Here is what we got for our money: The place is intolerable during the summer for the heat. We try to leave the windows open but can't because the noise. People WILL and DO party outside in the court( last time till 3:30am on a Tuesday morning). The management does nothing about it and will only reply that they didn't them. First response is not first response, they are no response ( this is the company that is supposed to keep the apartments quiet at night). I had to move out while my husband stays till the lease is done. You can't get any sleep even on a week night. No matter how many times you complain they do nothing. I hear that there will be fewer apartments with all of them changing to condos soon. Take this place as the absolute last place you want to live in Seattle. Remember that although the fountain may look cool and sound peaceful, you wont feel that when trying to sleep.

I lived here for a year and unfortunately my job took me to another part of the state. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They remembered me by first and last name. They throw "get-to-know-your-neighbor" parties every 3 months and they are a lot of fun. Drinking and food included for free! I lived on the 6th floor facing the space needle and LOVED every minute of living there. I would have liked a better gym, but there's one right across the street you can join if you want. I used the pool a few times and I like how it is in a seperate area that is raised so you don't feel like you are on display. There is a wonderful "common room" downstairs that you can reserve for private parties, and guest rooms on site so your guests do not need to rent a car. There is a firestation next door, and the sirens can be loud, but it never bothered me. I asked them to install a fan on the ceiling for white noise and it worked great! (and the fan only cost me $15 and they installed it for free!) One thing that I didn't like is that the fire alarm was pulled by pranksters 3 times when I lived there and we had to evacuate the building - and when the fire alarm goes off, the elevators don't work. Walking up 6 flights of stairs after a long day was annoying, but I still loved living here. Oh, and when I had to move out and break my lease, the apt leasing agent found someone to rent it within 3 days so I did not have to pay any fees and I also got my entire deposit back even though I have a dog. I just cannot say enough great things about this place. I felt safe here and I LOVED that they baked cookies all the time, everyday. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to live downtown at a moderate price budget. But beware the heat in the summer - there isn't any air conditioning!
