I had taken my adult cat to Dr. Batteiger for reasons from check up to surgery, and finally to lay her to rest. He is a consummate and compassionate professional. And as others have said he is very generous with his time and knowledge, and did call to ensure that my cat was doing well. I now have two "stepchildren" and look forward to introducing them to the good Doctor!

I agree with all the raves below. Dr. Batteiger has seen our beagle for eleven years for all kinds of things, and the care and information he has provided have been great. And he's a nice guy.

Dr. Batteiger is a fantastic vet. He is patient, generous with his time, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. We have been bringing our dog and cats to him for ten years. He calls frequently to check on our animals if they have been ill, and promptly returns every call. He has spent many hours on the phone with me over the years and has never charged for this time. My dog Hank died recently at the age of ten. He was a sick dog from the time he was a puppy but Hank always like seeing Dr. Batteiger and he lived as long as he did due to the Dr. Batteiger's care and timely referrals. He is wonderful as is his warm and helpful staff.

For anyone searching for a top rate veterinarian, we want to recommend Dr. Batteiger! We've been taking our senior cat Elliott to him for the past 6 months and couldn't be more pleased with the care (from the doctor to the staff - what a class act) we've received during each and every visit. They are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and compassionate! We walk away from our visits feeling informed and never rushed. We are grateful to have discovered Atlantic Vet!

We've been seeing him with our 4 different dogs over 8 years now, and we just think he is the BEST. He is very patient, cheerful, compassionate, professional, and an all around great animal doctor.

My dog Bleu has been going to see Dr. Batteiger for six years until he recently passed away due to chronic liver failure. The entire ordeal was incredibly painful and heart wrenching. After the few initial visits to Dr. B when we realized Bleu would need special treatment, Dr. B facilitated Bleu's care at VCA Hospital in Lynnwood. While Bleu was at VCA, Dr. B frequently called me and checked in to see how Bleu and I were doing. When Bleu passed, I received a card and a call from Dr. B which I thought was tremendously considerate and thoughtful. He is a great vet!

I think Dr. Batteiger is a great vet. He is good with both dogs and people -- patient, easy-going, thoughtful and professional. His staff is also friendly and knowledgeable. I feel that I can call them with even the tiniest of concerns. The offices are clean and the parking is easy. I am glad he was recommended to us, and I would highly recommend him in return.

We found Dr. Batteiger through the Seattle French Bulldog group (thanks Dale!) and he has exceeded our expectations in every way, by far the best vet we've used yet. He's very friendly and doesn't act like he knows exactly what you or your dog needs soon as he walks into the room, unlike some vets we've met, and he's obviously very knowledgable. He never makes us feel rushed and has always patiently answered all our questions. He prescribes medication as needed and not as a crutch or cure-all, and his prices are reasonable compared to some of the other vets we've seen in Seattle. We highly recommend him for all Frenchies in the area!
