The scent of their hearty whole-wheat cinnamon bread drew me in - and I couldn't be happier!! I usually bake my own bread because I'm less than impressed with the usual off the shelf offerings, but Great Harvest has made me a regular with the first loaf!! Service was bright and cheery and they seemed genuinely happy to answer my questions about their product. Five Stars!! :-)

Pros: Cozy spot right on Market, cheerful bakers, wonderful scent of fresh bread.

Cons: None noted.

Everytime that you go here they give you a free piece of fresh bread. If that is not enough to get you appetite, the smell of fresh baked bread will. With so many choices it will be hard, but normally I just go for the whole wheat. Every once in a while I will get a more gourmet loaf for dipping, also a good idea. Whatever you end up with in the end you will not be disappointed with.

Comfort food is just one reason to be thankful for fall. Great Harvest has plenty of that, especially if you think a good meal starts with bread. They feature over thirty kinds of specialty loaves including daily doughs such as Apple Crunch Monday (made with Granny Smith apples) Gingerbread Cake on Wednesday and Apple Walnut Coffee Cake on Friday

PROS: Much to be said for said for fresh bread!
CONS: Not cheap, typically $5 a loaf
