The only reason why I rated this loan company so low is because they only offer interest rates between 19%-30% so they are obvious predatory lending regardless. They only want to deal with so they can make money off people with poor credit. If you are looking into getting any type of loan with them (car loan or personal loan) I would always try to pay before the due date and physically take your body into one of their many payment locations and pay in cash and keep your receipts. If you do this you should not have an issue.

Everyone on here complaining about Reliable really needs to re-read their post. I work for a car dealership, and I have worked with Reliable for many customers for the past 4 years. I bought a truck back in June and was financed through Reliable. I have high interest, I am required to pay monthly and have insurance just like all of you. I have not had a single problem with them, except for the fact their titling department needs a few lessons on efficiency! Of course their interest rates are highway robbery, but they let it be known on their website that the lowest rate offered is 19.99%. Also, when you sign your contract, you know what your interest rate is. If you dont like it or agree with it, dont sign it and dont buy the car! You're being financed with them because NO ONE ELSE WILL HELP YOU! You are a high risk customer. Also, when you become financed with these high risk loans, you have more stipulations, requirements, expectations etc than people with GOOD credit because of your BAD credit history! You're complaining of your car being repossessed after "only" 20, 30, 40 days of being in default? On their companies payment receipts it specifically states on their your original monthly payment, and than what it is once 10 days late. If you go more than that, expect your car to get towed. Expect them to call and harass you. If someone owed you 1000's of dollars and stopped paying you, you would be calling them too! The point of a contract is to not only protect yourself, but to protect your lender as well. If you feel they did you wrong, talk to a lawyer and find out before you go crying about how you DIDNT make your payment and those a$$holes took your car. THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO IF YOU ARE IN BREACH OF YOUR CONTRACT! Read your contract BEFORE you sign. Understand what their rules are. Understand what you're signing! The are not required to make a payment arrangement with you over your past due payments. And yes, in some cases they do have reasons and rights to hold your payment if you have already defaulted. They dont have to accept any money from you at that point, they have the right to sue you because you broke the contract as of the first payment missed! And yes, if your car does get towed, you do have to pay double and fee's if you want it back. And yes, some companies even Capitol One, will charge you a months salary wage of their finance manager on top of it, sometimes a finders fee, sometimes a repo fee. You would be surprised on what they CAN do and charge you once you break your contract. If you get behind, do what ever you can to make your payment on time or be prepared to wake up and find your car gone. Some places give you months to add up what you owe them, and some places will only give you days. It costs them money as much as it costs you money. And just an FYI if you make payments larger than your monthly payment, be sure to talk to your finance company about how the payment gets dispersed on your account- i.e. interest & principle balances. Some times, they do not and do not have to apply it all or any to your principle. Your interest always gets paid first. In fact, most of your payment every month is going to interest. Also, once your car is repossessed, the dealer/finance company that you owe can not legally make any more on that particular vehicle that what you owe. So if you think they're just coming out way ahead, think again. Most repo's cost companies approximately $7000.00 from start to finish. Which is why they're not so nice to you about it. You're not the only one getting screwed in reality. Long story short, unless it is flat out their mistake/error in which case a lawyer will have no problem taking care of, YOU CAN ONLY BE MAD AT YOURSELF FOR NOT MAKING YOUR PAYMENT! Oh one last thing, you may have bought your whatever for lets say $8,000. REMEMBER to add in your interest so when your told how much you owe you're not like "WTF?" Say you have 30% interest so you owe, $10,400.00!!! What do people think interest is???

This company is the WORSE I have ever dealt with! I was buying a car through them and recently moved out of state and told them I was moving. I got behind on my payment but stayed in full communication with them even had a payment arrangement set up via email (which I have all of them saved) and they came and towed my car 3 days before I was to make a payment to them. When I called the guy was a jerk to me on the phone and telling me that they don't have any record of me responding to them via email. He also said they never emailed me, both of which I have proof on my email account. He then told me they tried contacting me which they never did. If I wanted to get my car back I would have to pay twice what the balance is owed on the car. Needless to say I will be talking to an attorney regarding this. MY RECOMMENDATION NEVER USE RELIABLE CREDIT...they shouldn't even be allowed to have RELIABLE in their title, maybe they should look up the definition of the word!!!

This Company is the worst and they really make you wonder how they can sleep at night by lying to customers all the time and raising your balance owed to keep you arond. I had a car loan with theem and for 2 years never had one late payment and one month I had a payment that was just 19 days late and that's when somebody name Ryan said I needed to come in person and pay by the next day or else. He hung up like that. I got paid 3 days later and he had my truck reposessed on the 2nd day after he hung up on me. He said I had to pay a so called huge towing fee that was double my payment and wouldn't tell me where my truck was. I paid the fee and my payment and owed $1,500 more. I borrowed the money from my sister and paid it off.2 weeks later I get a call for somebody else saying I still had a balance. I couldn't believe it so I said call my lawyer at this number. They never did and I got the title about 8 weeks later. I warn all who are reading this. DO NOT TRUST RELIABLE CREDIT. It's a bunch of white collar scam artist's. There very rude and unprofessional. Never be 19 days late like me even if you have 2 years of paying on time. I'll be glad when there shut down sooner or later.

OMG!! This company is one of the worst!! I agree with EVERYONE else on here. My husband and I got a loan for his truck about 2 years ago now - we have paid every month - even with my husband being unemployed we still paid every month on time... That didn't matter on April 20th though - They came around 11pm to take his truck - said we hadn't paid April 15th's payment... The payments were already schedule through THERE website - when I went in the next morning, of course I got the run around. They said that because he was unemployed and even though we always paid, they didn't think they could give us the truck back... BS!!!! So I left and came back 30 mins later with a Bank Cashier's Check and paid the truck off. I still have yet to receive the title... keep getting the run around on that too.... They are bad!!! Don't do business with them if you can help it!!

If it was possible to give this place less than one star, I would. This company, and I use the term lightly, is a joke to say the least. They just repossessed my boyfriend's car when he makes his monthly payments every month for more than his minimum payment. He makes cash payments in person at the location every month and never once has this company told him that they were charging him twice his monthly payments because his insurance company hadn't provided adequate proof of insurance. So they used this as a reason to repossess his car. And then they won't tell him where his car is (I mean he may want to steal it back...lol) or even what his payoff balance is so he can pay the car off and not have to deal with this company any longer. This place is awful! They are rude, condescending, unhelpful, mean spirited and just a nasty nasty company to work with. If you can help it, ride a bike. This company isn't worth working with.

They are very very rude and the Devil himself works at reliable credit. After 3 years of paying very very high interest for my dream car, they held the payments, and repo my car. they lied to me on the phone, treated me like garbage, and had the nerve to tell me I still owed them more money. I tried to speak to them after I got a little behind and they wanted 3 months of payments, plus a $700 finder fee. once they tried to charge me $3500 because they thought my car insurance lapsed. I wrote them a letter because they were so rude to deal with, they got more mad. PLease run from this company, unless you want to experience hell in your lifetime.

Reliable credit is terrible, they are the lowest scum on this planet!
The people that work there are not human! I am in shock seriously how they do business is so wrong!
We were 38 days late, we talked to them and let them know we were selling the vehicle and would pay it off at the end of the week.
We had a buyer and were going to meet him in Eugene. but we all fell ill, went to the Doctor found out we have H1N1 our 2 year old is very sick, came home with our antibiotics and orders to rest, no work witch means no money! Then the Tow truck shows up, takes our family vehicle and drives off! They won't let us have the vehicle back! They laughed at us and our situation. We worked it out the guy still bought our car but from Reliable and he told them they were shadey! He also gave us a few extra $ so we can get another car, there are nice people out there! Thank god but not Reliable! Stay away from the pond scum they have no manners or heart they are not america or are they? what is happening to us? It's a acary world try to just buy at an auction and own out right, it's the way to go!

They call demanding payment after you have made your arrangments. They email to remind you, your payment is due. But when you email them to ask questions reguarding you account...they wont reply. Then you have to go down and make your payment. They dont accept payments over the phone like any other company. They want to charge 10 dollars on top of what your paying for that option. Interest rates are up the ass. Customer service is lazy and full of excuses of why they cant email you your balance bi-monthly or reply to emails. And they say they understand times are tough and are willing to make payment arrangments. Send you pre approved letters to lend you more money (which by the way I ignore) . But then tell you if they dont give payment sooner then already arranged your car gets repossessed.

I too have had nothing but headaches with Reliable. Interest rates are outrageous. When life happens and you get behind just a little bit, less then 30 days late off of a payment they will repo and come and take your car. When speaking to them, completely rude. I actually had a rep call me a b*tch. I hate that I'm completely stuck with this company, would love to get out from under them. STAY AWAY FROM RELIABLE CREDIT!!!

I agree with lacy b they are terrible customer service and charge 30% interest so a 11000.00 loan is 30000.00 and in the last year they say you are far from paying it off saying you owe 8200.00 when your payments have been 460.00 a month then take your car without options. They are not worth dealing with.

Cheaper to borrow from the mob. My loan was for 6700. after 1 refinance adding an $800 loan, but dropping the interest rate from 29% to 25%, and 12 months of $260 payments, my payoff balance is now $7900. WTF? And when I called to get information, they were rude to me and threw a fit when I asked them to explain. Very shady company.
