The food is a little more expensive than it should be. In California the food would be a little better, and the cost would be way less...however, the hand rolled salsa tortillas they have there are to die for. If you have been there and didn't notice the woman with them, you have to go back.

This restaurant Amazing! The staff is wonderful, the food is even better and you can always count on the quality being the best! I have been going here for 30 years and have loved it every time.

We have been "Rosita's Regular's" since they opened. Food and service are consistently good. We love the "Avocado Tostadas" and the "Sergio's Special". Good "Happy Hour".

Family friendly atmosphere. Bring the whole family. You won't be disappointed.

Free, freshly home made corn tortillas, the strongest and most delicious margarita in Seattle, the best chips, the most delicious green salsa and the best tortilla soup that I have ever tasted this side of the Mexican border are all to be had at Rositas in Greenlake. Go there.

We eat here regularly and it is a consistent favorite. You will not be disappointed.

If you do not appreciate lots of kids, eat in the bar area. They do have tables there; the food offering is the same and no crying allowed.

The atmosphere is relaxed, the waitstaff is considerate and professional, and the food was prepared as you would expect- served hot with great flavors, and lots of beans, rice, and cheese.

The menu has breadth and range.

Probably not a place to impress a date or out of town guest, but come with good friends and relax.

Rosita's has the best Mexican food in town. Their tortilla chips and salsa is delicious. Lunch specials are reasonably priced. Albondigas soup's flavor is amazing.

Rositas is a great family restaurant. Their food is consistently good and fresh. The fresh corn tortillas you can get are a must-have. Their service is friendly and always very fast. It's a good place for families or dates.

By far the best Mexican food in all of Seattle. Great service, great bar, fun atmosphere. Everything I've tried on the menu is delicious an I always leave full happy!

Great freshly made Mexican food...fresh hot salsa, fresh handmade tortillas that you can watch them make.

They've got huge burritos that are worth trying.

PROS: I love their chips and salsa!
CONS: It's centrally located at Greenlake and very popular so it can get very busy and crowded.

I've been going to the Greenlake Rosita's for at least ten years now and I LOVE it. Great drinks, and the enchiladas verde is to DIE for! The black bean soup and chicken/corn/avocado salad are also good. Great free chips/salsa/fresh off the grill tortillas. They have two happy hours too, which is nice. There can be long waits on weekend nights but during the week you can usually get seated right away, especially in the bar.

I have been going to Rositas since I was little and have always enjoyed going. The highlight of the restaurant are the fresh corn tortillas they make at their special tortilla bar. I recommend the fajitas.

Went there for lunch. The first thing I noticed wasn't decor or friendliness of the staff, it was the REALLY strong cleaning product smell. I think the ""chef"" forgot to add salt to my lunch because it was tasteless. How can you mess up eggs and chorizo? Maybe Rosita's was outstanding in the past, but it has unfortunately slipped into mediocrity.

This is one of the better Mexican food restaurants I've found in Seattle. Being from the Southwest, I have pretty high standards but they were satisfied by Rosita's. The service is usually good, parking is decent to find, and the food is consistently good. My only complaints is it's a bit pricey for a Mexican food place. However, they carafes of sangria are delicious and the warm tortillas from the bar make the wait for food even better!

Yum- good Mexican food that doesn't go out on a limb with any of their dishes, but delivers solid food for families. This is one of my girlfriends' favorite places to eat out. The warm tortillas are delicious. Service is good and it is reasonably priced.

It is your basic mexican restaurant with prices $4-$5 more per plate.

Maybe it was just my typical luck but we ran into anklebiters, and lots of them. Is that typical of this place? My wife says all the time she has been there for dinner it is. It was especially bad on my visit, kids running around everywhere. The funny thing is the ""good"" kids (and their parents) sat in awe as the little hellions ran amok.

Any how, the food was ok, nothing great, nothing bad but more expensive than I am used to for Mexican grub. We'll return for happy hour, in the BAR.

We love Rosita's and are frequent repeat customers. It is fairly uncomplicated food, but great margaritas and fresh tortilla bar. Great service, almost too fast because the atmosphere is fun to absorb and then your food is there before you know it. Worth a visit!

Rosita's is excellent food, and an excellent price. The white meat chicken is fantastic, and service is always good. Food arrives extremely quickly. Occasionally you have to wait for your check, but you'll probably be too full to notice. The Greenlake location (Rosita's) has the atmosphere, the Broadview location (Luisa's) is more subdued and easier to get a table at.

This is fresh, high quality, Americanized Mexcian food that never misses. Perfect for what it is.

I love this place. Always great food, almost always great service, and good value. The selection and options for vegetarians like myself is commendable and well-executed. They've even happily accommodate requests for no dairy when feasible. It has become a favorite place to meet among my group of friends, and by all accounts the carnivores among us love it too. The basic margarita is good, the fancier ones (Hornitos!) even better; the ambience is tasteful, comfortable and appropriate, not cheesy or cartoonish like some. There is an occasional wait to be seated, but enjoy a complementary tortilla w/salsa while-u-wait.

I've been going to Rosita's for a while and walk away happy every time. The dining room can get loud and they welcome families so you might consider a different place for romance. The bar is fun, drinks good, and the free, fresh made mini-torillas with butter and salsa really hit the spot. Check it out nex time you're in Green Lake. With your expectations set correctly it's sure to please.

The food is better than some other Mexican restaurants in the area, but I always leave feeling that I've paid too much. I really like the tortilla bar, and their salsas are quite good.

Great inexpensive food, always fast service in the bar.

TIP - be sure to get a seat in the bar. It's quieter and has a better ambience if you do not have children.

Pretty good plate-style Mexican food, (think L.A., not San Fran) and a nice choice of good tequilas for margaritas. The Green Lake location is groovier, but the Crown Hill site has measurably better food (albeit a family-centric vibe).

Been going tp Rpsitas for about 5 years. The freshness is what I like. It's busy, and friendly. Both locations are great. The Holman Road tends to be roomier, but the Greenlake location seems to be more festive. Price is right.

There are two really special things about this place, free fresh corn tortillas served hot off the grill with butter and salsa and a live mariachi band to play at your table on Thursdays (and the band is good, very pretty and bittersweet). We always get seated right away and the folks who work here are nice. Great food, very fresh. Ive never been disappointed.

This is the best Mexican food north of the border!
Rosita's makes the finest corn tortillas, gives the greatest service, and has the funnest atmosphere.

Rosita's is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in Seattle. The food is consistently good -- even if the service isn't -- and the tortillas with butter and salsa are to die for. There's usually a wait on Friday and Saturday nights, but if you avoid the crunch times it's a more pleasant experience (just hope you don't get seated next to a big table of people celebrating a birthday). It can get pretty noisy, so if you're expecting a cozy, intimate dinner look elsewhere. But for great Mexican food and a casual atmosphere this is your place!
