We purchased a 2010 Lexus RX from Todd Kim at Lexus of Tacoma in Fife. We had a great sales experience. We are reluctant, research-driven buyers; most salesmen think we are a pain-in-the neck. However Todd was very patient and gave us all the data and time we needed to make a good decision for us. When we finally came to the purchase decision, Todd didn't have the color of vehicle we wanted in stock. He found the color and then worked out a great financial deal that worked for us.

We always take our car for maintenance back to Lexus of Tacoma in Fife. The service department is amazing. We purchased the extended warranty on the interior of our car. When we had some damage that might not have been covered under warranty, the service department took care of it anyway. We also accidentally scratched our bumper and in the process we ruined the "protective" covering for the bumper and once again the dealer took care of the scratches and protective coating! They also gave us a loaner for as long as we needed since we live about 40 miles away from the dealership.

We will buy our next car from Todd and highly recommend him to all our friends.

I appreciated the ability to find this very specific car using AutoTrader, getting a prompt response through Bob in Sales, and being able to negotiate a reasonable price and trade-in value remotely from my home in Portland. That convenience and speed to decision made the transaction possible for me, thus the 4 hours of driving was well worth it. The closing process was well handled by Sandra Lasso in your administrative area and I want to buy 12 more cars after dealing with her :)

Here is something Lexus of Tacoma can do a better job at. For ou-of-state customers like me, the closing process could be a little easier by having standardized documents that list the paperwork requirements that can be sent to the prospect in advance. Although Bob did a good job outlining the things I'd need, there were multiple interpretations of what the State of Washington could accept or not accept for proof of residence, and I probably should not have struggled with that when I arrived that evening. The simple fix is a one-pager that outlines these requirements with great clarity which I could have then arranged in advance.

Never-the-less, an outstanding overall experience.

My fife and I wanted to get luxury SUV, I did my research and we decided to get Rx330, so I new all about it technical data and price ranges. I found few cars we really liked and we went on our Saturday hunt, we drew couple of them around; now we had a clue how it handles. One of the cars on our list was at Lexus of Tacoma at Fife, we came there made a loop on parking lot we didn??t want to spend to my time driving around , went inside to play the usual dealers ??offer counter offer? game. We got to a good start with floor sale person price was reasonable, but we still wanted to check few cars before making final decision, and that what I told him; he ask me if I can wait a second and talk to manager, to see if he has any ??specials? . So THE MANAGER came over and ask if there anything he can do to have me buy this car right now, I told him the same thing I told to salesman that I want to check few more cars and that I don??t like to rush when its come to a big purchase. He completely ignored what I just sad, he started leaning forward over the table and camp saying: ??What can I do to make you buy this car now?. I decided to give him a chance and told to give me a batter deal. I was told that price they gave me was as low as they can go and he went on to his ??What can I do to make you buy this car now? and he kept leaning farther over the table into my face so I had to seat back. And this point it became obvious that deal is not going to happed and I being pressured into doing something I did not wanted to do and that what I told him: ?? You are being to pushy?. THE MANAGER started to raise his voice and getting out chair and telling me:? I am not pushy, what can I do to make you buy this car now?. I just repeated myself: ?? You are being to pushy, I want to check few more cars and if you have batter deal I will come back I buy this car from you ?. All the sadden he exploded, he jumped out of his chair threw his hands in a air and started yelling: ?? You are not getting this , you have to leave, even if you come back tomorrow I am not going to sell it to you?.

Its up to you to draw conclusions, for myself, I believe that as a consumer I can change this world one purchase at the time.
