It could just be me, but it sounds like someone was having a bad day and I doubt it was this restaurant... LOL!

My friend who is a long time Toyko House customer introduced me to this great place! It isn't the biggest or brightest establishment, but it is clean and quaint. The owners and staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is divine! I love that they offer something for everyone. My daughter can eat chicken teriyaki while my hubby and I eat sushi and more... YUMMY!

Will never go back, what a disappointing experience !! The food is a joke there, we went there last night and we were the only customers around 7:30pm. The place has changed the owner and now the quality is just poor. The sushi is paper thin and food is just horrible. The portion is so small that you will be happier with the happy meal in McDonald's. We waste 35 bucks last night and will never go back again.

We went to Tokyo House last night at smokey point area, WA, we will NEVER GO BACK !! what a disappointing experience !! The place has changed the owner and everything changed. From good quality to poor quality, the portion of food has went down 50%, we ordered dinner special fried pork chop bento and a chirashi dinner, when the food comes, the portion of pork chop bento looks like a children happy meal, and the chirashi is a total joke. A big plate fill with lots of rice and only 4 Paper THIN slices fish with egg, that is a rip off for $15 bucks !! we gave our feedback right away and we end up getting another 4 paper THIN slices fish... This place is not what it used to be, the new owner do not care about the quality anymore, it is all about profit now. Next time we will just goto terriyaki place instead, twice cheaper and twice bigger the portion !!

Cons: poor quality, paper thin sushi, little portion food, horror food

I have been going to this place for 5 years. It has always maintained the same high level of quality that I experienced the first visit. The chef does make specials upon request and time permiting. It is always a pleasure to be greeted by all the staff when arriving. If you like Japanese food, you will love this resturant. The prices are not all that expensive compared to other sushi bars. Too bad they are only open 6 days a week, but the chef does work all 6 days.

They close at 9pm on the weekends so you better get there by 8:30 then good luck getting a table. If you overcome those 2 obsticles you will probably wait 15 minutes for any service what so ever. Bring your reading material because you will easily wait 30 minutes for any food. The food is really good but that is the only reason we have eaten there so many times. However that will not be the case any longer. We showed up at 8:50 on our way to the airport and were turned away because they were closed. This was on a Saturday night and mind you we are regulars eating here about 1x per month. No longer.
Will someone please open another Sushi restaurant up north? And please stay open until at least 10pm on the weekends!

I ate here for the first time about 6 months ago, and ever since I have been back at least once a week. They have something for everyone from teriyaki to tempura, miso soup to sushi. I am a die hard sushi fan and every since I moved from Seattle to up north I have not been able to find good sushi. Well Tokyo House is the place. Everything is made with the freshest ingredients. If you like you can sit at the sushi bar and watch them form the art, I mean your meal, right in front of you. The staff are very friendly and the service wonderful. They have orders to go, or eat-in, also they have daily specials. I reccomend this resaturant for anyone up north who is looking for fresh excellent sushi, as well as many other wonderful meals.
