I once believed 611's coffee was the best. i told everyone but in recent days thier coffee quality has suffered a decline to the pits of downright nasty and they dont even seem to care.

I spoke with the owner margret and she seemed to care even less then the rude gratuity demanding troll who made the nasty cup for me and was too proud re make it. His name is justin the short bald insecure troll with too many tattoos as others here have correctly referred to him.

I was a regular customer but now its over. Apparently other functions of the owners business take higher priority over the quality of the coffee served and re makeing a cup is out of the question.

Seattle is the coffee capitol and we love our coffee, If you are my favorite place to buy coffee and you screw that up and don't even care enough to remake a cup that i payed for then its over ...

611 you might has well close the doors, you lose!

I can't agree more with CestMoi08! The service is slow and rude. The crepes are soggy and tasteless. I went there with some friends and when we walked in and said hello to the two women who were working there, they ignored us. When we asked if we could have a table, one of them sighed loudly showed us to a table without saying anything to us or making eye contact. Really? Is it that hard to be pleasant? The food took forever even though it was a slow weeknight.
This place is not worth your time, unless you enjoy being treated like dirt by pretentious hipsters or if you're in the mood for a totally forgettable meal.

I'm not kidding-- do not waste your time at this high falutin' dump. I went to this place ONCE when I first arrived in Seattle years ago, and I went again recently to meet some folks there. I hadn't planned on eating anything until we were told that we had to spend at least 10 dollars if we wanted to have an additional table for our large group. The waiter said that particular night was a big one for them and they expected to be slammed with a lot of customers. The only people that trickled in consisted of a couple here and there. And an occasional boozehound that sidled up to the bar for their usual. Slammed my a$$.

As for food, they are STILL disappointing! What a bunch of self-important fools. I am no longer astounded by Seattle's utter lack of taste in food and how people here will continue to eat uninspired food because the 'ambiance' might be right or it's the 'hip' spot to be. So the 'jambon' - the ham crepe was an embarrassment-- look, essentially the dish just consisted of what amounted to SLICED DELI HAM FROM A LOCAL DELI-MART WRAPPED IN A BLAND, DISEASED LOOKING 'CREPE'.

The short, bald, tattooed waiter was a rude b@st@rd -- his insecurity is apparent and shameful. Where are the standards in waitstaff? Why aren't the owners embarrassed to have a person representing them that has no class or tact? Well, what can really be expected if the food's lousy-- if you have no pride in what you dish out, I assume, you could care less about who serves the food. I am unsure as to why this is called a French restaurant. Seriously. Is it because they use French words to describe their food? French food is not that boring! My god! My god! It simply isn't. Here's what I?ve come to discover about this lovely land that is Seattle - if a restaurant feeds people who do not expect any better, then the restaurant really has no standard to aspire to. The audience/customers are grateful for any schlock thrown in front of them. Come on Seattle! Demand more! Demand better!

Pros: pretty walls.

Cons: idiotic staff, disgusting food--absolutely bland and uninspired through & through.

Not recommended, lousy service and they take pride in that. I realize this is capitol hill but it was ridiculous how we were treated. We had waited a full hour with out even having a waitress stop by, I finally flagged down our waitress and asked how much longer it would be and our waitress said "this is how we roll, this is how it is here". I understand bad service in a place is slammed and under staffed but this place was fairly empty and I wont support a place that purposefully treats their customers badly.

While 611 is in a great location and has a cool space + wonderful crepes, this is the only place in my life that I've ever been asked to leave so others could be seated. Not only that, I was still sipping on my latte and had spent a fortune. Often times the service has been snotty there but this time, there was no crepe in the world good enough to get me to return to a place that doesn't respect me. Get a crepe at Joe Bar and call it a day.

Great Crepes. Stiff drinks. I recommend a combination of Mushrooms, Tomatoes, and Cambazola. Server is a fun guy, lots of energy. Bar gets crowded after 10!

3 friends and I went in for dinner last night. The food was awesome, the drinks were good, the service was good... until we got out check.
When our server dropped the bill, the menu items we ordered were listed, but their prices were not. We were going to split the bill two ways, so I put the names on the credit card next to the items that we had. I took it to the server. I said I didn't know how much to put on each card because the prices weren't listed on the check, but I put our names next to what we had to help her out. Then she told me she was busy and we'd have to figure it out for ourselves. O.K. She brought us some menus and I put the prices next to each item. I didn't know how much to put down for the Blody Marys my friends ordered or the Coke my girlfriend ordered because they weren't on the menu. My friend got up to ask her how much the Blody Marys and the Coke was and the server came to the table and said, "You should have told me you were having seperate checks." Maybe, but "We were just going to tell you how much to put on each card, but the prices weren't listed next to each item." then she said, "Not everybody does it that way." As she walked away with our cards she said out loud "This is torture!"

That interaction sort of put a damper on the evening. Everything was good until the end. We felt that she was a good server until we got our check. We didn't feel that we deserved that kind of treatment for only asking for prices of things when seperating out our checks. As a person who dines out a lot and waits tables, I have never been treated that way by a server. There were 4 other tables in the restaurant, so I think there was no excuse to have been spoken to like that.

If there is an employer reading this, we went in for dinner on Sunday, April 29th.

You can get the server to speak French to you usually. the crepes arent as authetntic as one might have hoped, but they are delicious either way.

Nothing is more appealing than crepes - whether they are plain with citrus butter and powdered sugar or used to hold any tasty combination of meat and cheese. However, aside from breakfast chains and hotel buffets, they are rarely a menu item. I go to 611 Supreme any time I get that craving and sometimes I come just for the drinks and intimate atmosphere. The owner/manager, Margaret, is very friendly and knows a lot about wine. If she appears too busy at times to speak, it is because this place fills up fast. Reasonably priced and always satisfying, this is a great place to bring friends or a date.

The bartender served us in french, I was completely amused. I am so sorry that all the rest of you seem to not have such a good time. The service was a little strained but it is a happening place! They did pretty well in the service department, bartender speaks french, the crepes are good for having been made in the states, and the cocktails are supreme. I liked the relaxed atmosphere, upscale but not snooty.

My friend had booked this restaurant for us to have a meal on my first night in Seattle, having arrived from England after a ten hour flight. Arriving at the restaurant, we were told that they had made a mistake with the booking and that we were not able to eat there. My friend had arranged for us to meet a number of people at the restaurant, and the waitresses were extremely unhelpful when it came to accommodating us. They were reluctant to move tables together so we could sit down and were unapologetic about the mix up. Eventually we were seated but it felt like we were causing a great amount of bother to the staff.
Having said that, the crepes were great. The desserts looked yummy although I didn't have one. I enjoyed eating here, but the experience was slightly ruined by the disastrous start to the meal.

I was very disappointed in my ham and cheese crepe, just a big block of deli-meat ham (no yummy European ham?) and almost undetectable cheese or scallions. Yuck! But the 1/2 carafe of wine I shared was nice, and the atmosphere is fun. Next time I would skip the food and just have drinks.

611 definitely has a crepe for everyone. You can get a delicious breakfast crepe with nuttella (mmm!) or fruit (along with a mimosa of course). For dinner you can get a crepe filled with anything from mushrooms to salmon. I would recommend trying a cream based one along with a nice class of wine. Oh, and the restraunt itself is adorable-- a great date place.

Food is above average. Desret crapes tend to be crispy but the cook will make your crape per your liking.
Two out of three bartenders are very friendly are pour heavy drinks, the third one is average.
Great hangout in the evenings, prepare for smoky ambiance on the bar side.
Restaurant side is non-smoking.
Brunch is above average for average price.
Parking, at night use the garage accross Linda's, only $3.00

This place is divided into two parts. Bar and Restaurant.
The bar side had a sozy feel to it. The drinks are good and fairly priced. If your'e lucky, you can grab the nice cushioned seats against the wall. It seems to be a popular part of the bar.
The restaurant side is quieter, bigger, and has a better atmosphere. My waiter was a bit slow though. I had to take in hand that it was a weekend as well. All negative thoughts were washed away when the food arrived. My my, the salad was super! The crepe was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I think they may specialize in crepes, by the way.
A lovely french experience. Darn, I forgot to have a nice cup of espresso afterwards!!!

PROS: Bar, Food, Atmosphere
CONS: Wait time on food side, Small bar area.

This is the cutest place around! The restaurant serves primarily crepes, both sweet and savory. These crepes are great- definitely the sort of place you would want to take a friend visiting Seattle. When you're through with the crepes, head over to the bar area, where you can sit on the lounge booth or at the bar and enjoy a classy cocktail.

the crepes are ok, at best. they are nothing to write home about. whenever i think of giving it another try, i think of our waitress. she wasn't as much rude as she was cold, completely disinterested, and couldn't crack a smile or have a good attitude if you paid her cash money. there is nothing like a bored waitress for sunday brunch.

I'm a regular solo weekender here, because they earned it. The crepes are entertaining and satisfying. So good, that I need to order two to satsify my fix. Order the Jambo with eggs, or the Oeuf with ham. The waitresses are a sight to enjoy with gazing pleasure. Definately a worthy breakfast journey.

I stepped inside, asked if I could sit at the bar, the server said "Sure - great, I already have too many customers." I sat -waited. It took the bartender 10 minutes to come over and ask me what I'd like. "A Menu?!" I asked how he made a particular cocktail -I asked for a substitution for Triple Sec, he said, "Sure." He turns around, yaks with the girls & puts half cup of triple sec in the shaker! The food was delivered. No "Enjoy" No "Is there anything else I can get you?" I ate. I waited. The bartender finally discovered I was liquidless, clean plated. "Bet you're ready for another drink," he chimes in enthusiastically. "No - my bill." I'm sure the 35 cent tip went unnoticed. My hopes for an amazing adventure down the road to 611 Supreme were dashed by the worst service I've ever had.
