First, I did not like the manner of the salesman who, amazingly, we later found out was one of the owners. I don't usually have a problem with people but this guy just rubbed me the wrong way. However, they had the products we wanted and we were new to town so we bought from them anyway. We were building a new home and bought all of our laminate wood flooring, laminate countertop, carpet, and vinyl from them for our entire house and a guest apartment. We put $35/square yard vinyl in the guest apartment on the end of our house. We asked the vinyl installer if he had enough of that vinyl left over to do the floor in a 3/4 bath out in our 3 car garage/shop. He said he didn't, that he only had pieces, and wouldn't recommended splicing vinyl together in a bathroom. I later thought about what he said and remembered seeing a sizeable roll of this vinyl in his utility trailer that he drove away so I decided to call Anacortes Interiors and ask if any leftover vinyl actually belonged to the homeowner (since we paid for it). The girl said it most definitely did so I told her the installer took it all and I'd like to have it back. She then had the warehouse guy call me and he told me I could come pick it up. I told him that I was not going to haul a 12 foot long roll of vinyl in our pickup and I expected the guy who took it to bring it back. The installer did bring it back and never said a word about it and neither did we. There was more than enough to put a single piece (and no seams) on our garage bathroom floor. That same flooring installer also did a sloppy job cutting the edges of the wood laminate in our living room. Then the laminate "Formica" counters look "lumpy" and the guy who installed the countertops and backsplashes slopped gluey water over the walls so they really need to be re-painted. At the end of building our house (about two years ago) we asked the co-owner to come look at our house and he said he would but we never heard from him after that. We were leaving town for some months so after we got back just decided to forget it. Last year the good quality carpet in our bedroom started to buckle up in front of our bedroom furniture. Apparently it wasn't attached to the tack strip well enough when it was installed. Anacortes Interiors looks high quality from the curb, and that's one reason it appealed to us, but I sure wish we'd had this kind of website to find out more about it! We definitely would have taken our business elsewhere. They sell good quality products but we were not happy at all with the salesperson/owner or the installers/installation. I would never recommend them.
