The location is great and very convenient to downtown. The chowder sampler is spectacular. The staff are friendly-- sometimes hilarious-- and very helpful.

This is a great place to go for lunch! They have great food - including salads. The staff is friendly too. Whenever I'm in downtown, I like to stop here for lunch. Their prices are average for downtown, but the food is worth it. They have different variatons of clam chowder and they are all wonderful! Try the spinach salad too - it's wonderful!

The service is pleasent, with great view of Lake Union. Unfortunately, due to the location the prices are a bit higher than the West Seattle and Greenlake locations. The sizes suffer a bit as well, but the chowder is excellent.

I friend was to take me out for lunch and mentioned Duke's. I have never even heard of it. We got a table immediately and it was packed (even in the lunch hour). I ordered fish and chips and expected the norm. It was so tasty that I overstuffed myself. The perfect lunch and right on the water. What a nice way to spend your lunch hour.
