Safeway Pharmacy

I frequently buy small plants as gifts for friends and find the ones from Safeway to be fresh and in great shape. Just what I am looking for and in a price range I can afford.

I shopped at this store today, 5/23/2007 at 3:50 PM and when I went through the express checkout I was greeted by Fred F. whom I've had rude encounters with in the past and I've witnessed him talking down to other customers in the past too. Today after he had run my items through the bar code reader, I swiped my Safeway card through the card reader ... I then asked if it read my card to which he sarcastically said "The discount would not have registered on the monitor if it had not". I informed him that I was unaware of that feature and assured him I would know next time. He then said in a condescending tone "Have a nice day Mr. Brunson". Who does Fred F. think he is anyway. I could probably excuse this sort of behavior however this is my second arrogant encounter from this individual and like I said earlier I have witnessed his condescending behavior to other customers in the past. Most all of your other checkers are very professional and friendly and that's the only reason I will continue to shop there ... I will now just avoid his check stand. His behavior is inexcusable and if I were the manager, he certainly would be fired!

Sometimes when I got shopping with my mother she lets me sit in the cart and pushes me around while I grab stuff off the sheleves manically! The employees don't seem to mind at all.

Safeway's Pharmacy in Richland, WA. is wonderful!!! They are very knowledgable and friendly. They always answer my questions and help find over the counter medicines I might need. I would trust them any time!
