My whole family has been going to Mill Creek Family Practice for 5 years. Today they would NOT let me schedule an appointment for my eleven year old daughter because of an outstanding bill we already paid! An over 90 days old bill that we were billed for last month for $75. We??ve always paid what the clinic bills. I am so disappointed. We were told NO, we could not see the doctor unless we pay first. I explained it was sent through bill pay already. I am disgusted! There is no loss here, thiss clinic herds people in and out anyway. The Doctors are fine, the office on the other hand is lacking in friendliness and customer service. You don't bluntly say NO to a mother with a sick child.

I Love Mill Creek Family Practice. I have a primary doctor there, but have occasionally needed to be seen when he wasn't on duty and have been seen by 3 of the other doctors. All have been fantastic, thoughtful, kind and through. My primary doctor's nurse returns messages when I call. Having the lab and x-ray facilities onsite is helpful. I recomend this clinic!

Yes, Patient Beware! Where do I start? One of the main doctors, whose name I will not mention, ruptured my 11 year old daughter's ear drum when he was trying to flush out her ear wax. I took her to a couple specialists to have her hearing tested. Since then, my daughter has pressure sensitivity and pain in that ear due to the scar on her eardrum. Also, I had a small mole removed. He removed my stitches too soon. I bent over to reach for something on the floor and the wound ripped open. I had to go back to dr. to have stitches put back in. He had to rescrap the wound opening and he re-stitched it right the second time by also putting stitches inside. Also, I went in for a physical/pap with a different doctor. I was talked out of my pap test. She spent the whole time talking about herself. The nurse interrupted my visit a couple times letting the doctor know she has an upset patient in the waiting room, the patient had been waiting too long. The doctor just looked at me and rolled her eyes. Then I realized it's not just the first doctor with issues but the entire office has issues. I will never go back to this office again!!!

Patient beware. In the two months I have been a patient at this clinic, they have lost my labs, requested unnecessary procedures, required repeated visits for treatment of very basic illness and have been rude, unreachable and inattentive to their patient needs. I have had a bladder infection for almost two months because of their inability to treat a simple female ailment that could become very serious if left untreated for so long. Additionally, they have suggested that I change my medication as part of a guesswork diagnosis that they should have referred me to a specialist for. I wish someone had warned me before I trusted these doctors with my care. THEY ARE ONLY AFTER YOUR INSURANCE PAYMENT AND COULD CARE LESS WHAT THEIR PATIENTS NEED!!! Find another doctor ASAP. I would not go back to this clinic even if I was bleeding or having a heart attack.

My family had been patience??s over the last 4 years, but recently I've felt like a number not a patient. The name "FAMILY PRACTICE" should be deleted from their name. The billing dept. is the worse ever, they are rude and greedy. The office manager never returns phone calls and is also rude. This medical practice is all about the money not about caring for humans

I started seeing Dr. Schmidt in 1984. After he was killed in a plane crash, my doctor became Dr. Bacon. I've always been treated well & the old billing department (Carole) was very helpful. I hope the service continues to be as good as it has been for me, but I'm extremely leary of the activities of the crazy administration in DC. But one shouldn't sweat the small stuff.
5 stars.

I have gone to MCFP for over 5 years--I have been repeatedly disappointed by the overall backwardness of this place. Basically, to get any correspondence from the doctor it requires an office visit. The docor wouldn't even write me a 15 day extension on a prescription I had been having filled by them for 3 years (at the same dosage) without an office visit. Not only that but we accidentally undepaid a bill by $6 (we always pay on time) and they practically sent the police after me! I can't believe it took me 5 years to leave this place!!!

I myself work at a doctors office and know what I expected as a patient. I myself avoid the Doctor at all cost, but I injured my back and had to be seen. I was seen the same day I called, they were able to get me in within the hour, imaging done on site, Doctor was informative and caring, staff was wonderful and attentive. Pharmacy was located down stairs and was convenient to get the medications prescribed. I def will return and highly recommend to others.

I have been a patient there for 20 years......my husband could not pay 700 dollars all at once for an MRI, he has been paying monthly and making honest efforts......The bill was down to 400 dollars.......we called to make another appointment and was told we needed to pay 250 dollars to see the doctor.....we were not offered any alternative....We were told by the "administrator" that she was a nurse and could determine the acuity.......she did not ask appropriate medical questions to determine this......A week later we received a form letter stating they were dropping him as a patient and sending him to collections.....we wrote to Dr,. Bacon and he never responded back to our concerns.....

I, unfortunately have to agree with the prior comment regarding MCFP. My family and I have been going there for 16 years. Recently we have been unhappy with the follow through of the Dr's. The prior reviewer is right, the doctors do not return phone calls. I can't speak to replying to letters, but based on what we have experienced lately, that would not surprise me. Another reviewer mentioned the poor billing dept. We have recently come upon some trying times and have not been able to pay off our balance completely. I have been making regular payments in good faith to bring down the balance ($400) I called today to make an appt to get a prescription for a generic med as I cannot afford the non-generic. I was told that until I pay my balance in full that I will not be able to see my Dr, even though they have received insurance payments and steady payment from me. I am disappointed in MCFP, and am currently looking for a new physician.

I would stay clear of this place. I went here for a couple of years and had an excellent Nurse Practitioner. She recently left so I tried a new doctor. I asked for a cholesterol check and they did tons of other tests that I didn't ask for or was advised they were testing. I know my insurance pretty good and knew it only paid for cholesterol. The Office Manager told me the Dr. would need to pay me out of her own pocket. I wrote a letter to the head Doctor - it has been about a month and I have not heard back from the main doctor, office manager or my doctor. FYI - I originally went for a visit because the office sent me a note saying I was late for my annual pap test. At the appointment the Dr. said you don't need a pap test, we only require them every 3 years. So why than did they send me a note requesting me to come in. Very disappointing that they have not contacted me. I wrote the letter because you can't talk directly to any of the doctors. I have been telling everyone to not go here. And after talking to several people in the Mill Creek community I have met several people that have their own horror stories about this place.

I can't say enough positive things about this office. I have never felt like a number. Our entire family goes there and we are given so much time and attention while we are in with our Doctor. I have gotten follow up calls when I was not expecting them just to check up on whoever the patient was. I am so glad I found this office and feel my family is in good hands!!!

My family and I had been patients at MCFP for over 8 years and were overall happy with the care received until I no longer had double insurance coverage. As soon as my family was covered by only one insurance provider our level of care dropped dramatically. MCFP has a gestapo style billing department that is completely unwilling to work out payment arrangments with patients. Over the years I have also noticed an extremely high turnover of physicians. They rarely keep a doctor for more than 1 to 2 years. This should be a huge warning to anyone who is looking at this clinic. I highly recommend going somewhere else!!

Millcreek family practice is a decent place to go when your ill or need a doctor. But be advised you will feel like number. They play it off that they care and that they want what is best for you. but after so many visits they start to roll eyes. And they will treat you as if your a waste of there time.

I started my pregnancy out here, and was very pleased with the obstetricians at this office. Unfortunatly due to my having twins and turning high risk I had to switch to a perniatoligist, but the months that I was a patient here at mill creek family practice, I never had any problems. The staff was always so polite and appointments are very easy to come bye. The office is decorated nicely and parking is wonderful. The telephone manners of the nurses when you call in with concerns is great, and the wait time in the waiting room is very low. Overall I was very pleased with my experience with this clinic adn will continue to go here with any future pregnancies, as long as they do not turn out to be "high risk" like my girls.

This is not a typical doctor's office. Soft colors and lights create the atmosphere, and friendly nurses greet you at the front desk. Although emergency appointments can sometimes be hard to come by, the level of service and care is excellent.
