About a year ago I had a sink that was making a loud reverberation noise when the hot water was lightly on. Another plumbing company (reviewed elsewhere for a different job) said the pressure was out of whack in our house and had a very expensive recommendation.
After taking the faucet apart we found a long 3-inch cylinder in the hot water side that clearly showed signs of wear. Home Depot did not have the part and poking around on the net and calling other places got us nowhere. Finally I called Aurora Plumbing and they were very knowledgeable and gave several scenarios but recommended bringing the part in since it seemed like they had the part. This same technique at several other places had the staff shaking their heads, "Nope, never seen one that long". Aurora plumbing matched up the part and, the funny part, was pulled it out of a tube for me (took about 4 minutes) as I did not realize that the part I was replacing was stuck inside another tube - almost welded shut.
Although I rarely tackle stuff like this myself, I do know that I will start with them for parts with any other crazy projects I take on myself (or w/ family/friends).
Knowledgeable was the key for these guys.

Water heater leaking water. They replaced but charged a fortune. Never again. Used to have a solid reputation. The way they ran this through not good.

If you need a good plumber Aurora is the best.
They are fast and reasonably priced. They
redid our bathroom and I can't tell you
how pleased we have been with their
service.
