Cedars Restaurant

I like Cedars for there dining room and there walk up window. Some times I just don't feel like going into a restaurant and sitting down. The window is perfect because you don't need a car, it is not drive thru, it is walk through. I love there sandwiches, and salads. It is a place that if you have eaten there you should recommend to someone else because it is like a well kept secret. Share the word. The food is Great and the service good too.

Cedars restaurant is located a block away from the corner of University Ave and 50th St. The restaurant is always pack and it creates a great dining atmosphere. The food was very flavorful, some of the best Indian food I've have in Seattle. The entrees are in the $10 - $15 range, so it is a great deal. The only complaint I have is that since they were so busy, it took a long time for them to seat our party of 5. Otherwise the dining experience was almost perfect.

This is a great place to stop by for a falafel sandwich (or baba ghanouj, etc) to go as they have a window that opens onto the sidewalk where you can order.
There's also seating inside.
It's important to note that this review refers to the Cedars Restaurant located on 43rd Street in the University District, and they have one other location in the same area which is much less tasty! This is one is nearer to the University of Washington campus.
Their falafel is great and the prices are good.
