This place has it all! I was walking around thinking of all the hassle I've gone through buying gifts in the past, going from store to store, wasting gas and time, pulling at my hair looking for the perfect gift. Who knew that you can find a gift for ANYONE at Romanza? Now you do.

Where would you go if you needed to find a gift for your sister, a bottle of wine for dinner, hand-painted martini glasses for your uncle, a runner for the table, a candle for the boudoir and a little something sparkly for yourself? In a word - Romanza. "Romantic" in Italian, girl heaven in the heart of Ballard. They have things suitable for men, too, but I've never seen one in there. Which is fine with me, because all that oohing and aahing over the incredibly cute stuff could get a little embarrassing. The last time I was there, I latched onto a rack of watch faces with pretty beaded & gem-like interchangeable bands. Fabulous. I won't tell you how many went home with me. Before that, it was a little still-life tray on a stand and a pillow for my couch. Perfect. I could go on and on about everything that's here. But I have a better idea. Go check it out for yourself. Bring your wallet.
