Avoid this restaurant. It is filthy and not worth your health! The staff are a bunch of teenagers both behind the counter and in the kitchen. The the customer service is bad with long wait times, the cleanliness horrible and the awareness of health and food regulations non-existent. I will never eat or drink there again!

Avoid. This place is dirty, has very poor service, the coffee is made badly and the food is stale. It is also way over-priced for the quality served.

Folks - look at the dates on the negative reviews - a lot has changed since 2007! I am a native of Bainbridge and let me tell you - there are way too many 5 star restaurants on this island.
The owner, Arnie Sturdham has figured out a formula that is much appreciated by the locals that frequent his establishment. The food is reasonably priced and the atmosphere is genuine. He serves pizza that rivals any Seattle pizzeria - and I lived in Seattle for 10 years before I moved back to the island. I admit that I have fond memories of some very good urban pizza establishments and Arnie has produced a thin crust pizza that is truly exceptional. His coffee and sandwiches are also top notch and reasonably priced.
The Treehouse has attracted a following of locals and non-locals that is without equal on the island. Dedicated cyclists and regular Lynwood movie goers all appreciate the family friendly atmosphere and home spun decor. Local artists have found a place to exhibit there works on his walls. The bar area expansion has been a tremendous success and there are plans for a second expansion which will accommodate a billiard room.
While many fine restaurants have come and gone in Lynwood Arnie Sturdham's Treehouse cafe continues to prosper and has become a destination on to itself. 5 stars is not enough and please ignore the earlier reviews as they are no longer relevant!

Pros: Great casual food and atmosphere

Cons: none

Being a neighbor I frequent the Treehouse Cafe a lot. My family enjoys the pizzas and salads. The Point White Pesto with artichokes, chicken and pine nuts is a nice "gourmet" selection. My kids like the spaghetti with meatballs. while the service is not always attentive, the ambience is warm and friendly. I've never seen the "flies" mentioned in a previous review and I've been a customer for four years probably six/seven times a month. The newer bar addition has nice cafe tables or you can "belly-up" to the bar and have a Guiness or a Stella Artois (my favs). It's a charming neighborhood restaurant.

Pros: Sausage Pizza, Stella

The customers are treated with complete disdain; the pizza is mostly glutenous, coagulated lumps; the service is nonexistent; the owner is the embodiment of haughtiness and pomposity, thoroughly rude and ill mannered ...need I say more? Avoid this restaurant at all costs! It makes McDonalds look like the height of fine dining because of they at least offer a modicum of courtesy. If I were ravenously hungry and had no alternatives but to "dine" again at the Treehouse, I would gladly choose starvation!

Pros: maybe they will be short lived and an actual restaurant could take their place

Cons: read my review

Full of flies - even on a cold night - and definitely NOT kid friendly. Pizza was extremely slow - like one hour. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere.

This restaurant was full of files - even on a cold night. I was swatting them off my salad and my son's pizza. Ruined the meal for me. The pizza was extremely slow - almost an hour. The pizza was prepared wrong - pineapple on the wrong half - but the kids ate it anyway because they were starving. Don't arrive hungry. In fact - do yourself a favor and don't arrive at all.
