Ratings_icons This training really works!

M C.

I've been in and out of The Training In Power Academy courses for about 8 years.I hold a upper level position. Several times i have taken breaks from these programs and have came back to them. Always have felt welcomed to come and go and to be apart of this group for however long i feel fit. I would say that this group is quite supportive, consistent and evolved in how to empower people. Probably a great start for anyone who is wanting to enhance their individual abilities to grow!Go for it and have fun !

Ratings_icons This Training is fabulous!!

Tommie Z.

I have been part of this group for 7 years, and I love this work!
It has taught me to look within and trust myself for information that I need in my daily life. It has helped me to answer a lot of questions about myself, and has raised other questions for me!
It is a lot of work but also a lot of pure enjoyment, and is where I feel at home.
We are all human, of course, but I'm learning to have more self-love and self-respect, and also to face my emotions, doubts, or fears in a much better way than I did before.
I highly recommend this course work for anyone who is willing to do the work, to explore within, to learn more about themselves, and also who wants to gain more love and respect for themselves.

Ratings_icons Training in Power Crazy Group - Cult

Serina W.

Hello All,Stay away from this group. It is destructive cult led by a mad woman with zero academic credentials, the leader Faye is a nut. I am sure that there are some lovely people who belong to this group, they are I believe very damaged individuals. Imagine believing that you must don from between 7 and 11 "shields" prior to leaving your house or the gall of these members who believe that they can change the weather at will or the unmitigated gall of believing that they can alter their own and others DNA, that they can heal others from a distance. Sound familiar - yes vestiges of the scariest far right religions - that praying for the sick will heal them - these individuals are so intent upon receiving positive reinforcement from Faye their leader that they will not only pay to be brain washed they will go from one level to the next and the next but never graduate. To ascend levels they will submit via long distance telephone calls to the unverified psychic tests put to them. Do members really imagine that their manipulative leader will not pass those who don't challenge her or those that have demonstrated that they are well and true believers/brain washed subjects? After all this is Faye's income. Imagine studiously following the teachings and suggested reading list provided by Faye and her teachers - Carlos Castaneda and Harry Potter books! The followers of this cult must from level one on, have group experiences (brain washing guided tours) during these guided meditations - travel down into the earth - are greeted by "guides - fairies" etc. Disciples are encouraged to share their experiences with the group following these "guided" meditations. Participants in each of the levels do not dare deny seeing "green light/ fog" or being greeted by guides or any other the imagery provided by the instructors. Visit the ex member sites listed in earlier posts here for a glimpse of how truly sad this group Training in Power is. Members eventually go from believing that they are healers of themselves and loved ones to being told that they are battling demons in other dimensions intent on destroying the planet Earth, and of course their leader Faye. Non believers of this doctrine are seen by members as vampires, dangerous to the member/s (I guess so - imagine telling your best friend, mother or sister let alone your husband that your spiritual practice is actually a farcical loonie group which you have no idea how to gracefully exit from now that you have put six years into as well as countless dollars. The true story is gradually revealed by Faye (the story is constantly evolving), the higher members ascend. The higher they ascend the more secretive and arrogant they become - how do they ever come to terms with the insanity - the horror of having to admit to friends and family how extreme the teaching and beliefs have become. Oh and be prepared should you decide to have a closer look at "Training in Power" to being pressured to admitting (whether you were or not) to being sexually abused. You as a devotee will begin to insist that those close to you not only join but admit also that they were abused. If you or your husband/wife are questioning the teachings and or the amount of time your loved one is spending in the group Faye will reveal that she knows that the individual is either abusing your children or is a vampire and pressure the individual to break off the relationship. This group is more deeply nutty than you could possible imagine. I feel for any group member who finally sees how they have wasted their time, money and familial connections for the insane vision that is Faye/s "Training in Power" fantasy - really how do you trust yourself or anyone else when you finally emerge from the nightmare that is Faye's insane world. Leaving this group is the same for those leaving any other destructive cult - extremely difficult - those leaving are said to have fallen. Members are told that those that leave die, grow fat (hmmm does TIP have a majority of female members?) and fall from vibration. How does one begin to trust not only oneself but others following the pathetic journey that is TIP. Really, get a grip before it is too late - there are so many legitimate practices available to seekers of enlightenment. TIP is a classic destructive cult. Note TIP members should you leave - you will not die but will experience as do all ex members of a cult a process which is very difficult - this is a common for anyone leaving a cult. The difficulties you will experience upon leaving TIP does not mean that you are "falling from vibration" as you will have been warned of by Faye but that you are recovering from a dangerous mind controlling and abusive cult.

Response from this business:

It seems that there are a very small group of people who don't like what our organization is about. An organization that is based in encouraging people to live the Love Principles of this Universe. Their anger and vindictiveness is a contradiciton to what we do. Check us out and decide for yourself
Ratings_icons I love this work! Highly recommend it

J B.

I have taken several courses from this academy and really have found them to be informative, enlightening and effective for helping me to understand myself better. I'm shocked at some of the cult references. I have been involved for over 14 years and have not experieced or witnessed cult like activity. The main premise of this work is self empowerment and owning your own life. Far from a cult.

I found the tools very useful in helping overcome blocks in my life, and have experienced tremendous growth in all areas of my life as a result of Training In Power classes. I would highly recommend.

Ratings_icons Very Negative and Dangerous Cult - Avoid it like the Plague !

Teresita K.

I would give it 0 stars if i could.

This leader is a False Prophet. She manipulates her students through guilt and fear of getting yelled at and rejected.

Anyone who questions the leader, or her
methods, is labelled as attacking the leader.
She cannot allow questioning because this 'training'
is a house of cards. She is purposely vague and
this is designed to confuse people.
She implies that only very intelligent people
can understand the concepts. This is her sneaky way of making you feel stupid if you decide to ask questions
or if you decide to drop out.
She implies that the people who drop out
are too "chicken" to face their issues,
or are to dumb to understand the concepts.

This 'training' pays lip service to the concepts of love and light, and healing. Meanwhile it focuses on negativity, evil, pathology, and darkness. All of the negative scary things that the leader warns you about (in the classes), she ends up doing to you. It is the ultimate irony.
This includes energy vampirism, attacks of negative energy, and false prophets.

The founder has taken info from the Silva Mind Control tapes and pretended that she invented it. That is what makes up most of level 1 and level 2. Also Level 2 contains some pseudo-shamanic and sorcereristic concepts from Carlos Casteneda.

If you took this training, sometimes you might feel great & you feel like you are progressing spiritually and doing better, but it's a placebo effect.
The higher that you get in the levels, the worse and more paranoid that you will feel in your everyday life. The training wants the upper levels to be hypervigilant,
which creates a very unhealthy mental state. The 'Power' Training constantly focuses on the negative, thus,
more and more negativity manifests in your life.
(what you focus on,
you will create more of.)

There may be some occasional emotional highs after a guided meditation, where you feel as if you have really helped the world, or have really healed an issue.
But the cost is so high. The cost is your sanity, your independence, your personal freedom to express yourself, and your free time. The higher that you get up in the levels, the less time you will have to spend with friends and family. The training people try hard to isolate and separate you from your family.

There are other, much healthier ways to get emotional highs. There are many safer ways to heal yourself
and to help to heal the world.

The Power Training uses many mind control techniques, they close in on you gradually. I am a former level 6
and I spent 6 years in the training. It took me many years to recover after i had left.

See these websites for more information.
Blessings to you on your journey ! :)

Ratings_icons Great, can't find anything better

Anonymous

I love it. I feel like I have woken up. Can't think of anything better. I've tried them all and this is the one I want to stick with.
I see some people don't like it. Good, it just means that the people running it are willing to be human and they don't have to be liked by everyone. As long as they, and I can look at ourselves in the mirror at night with love - then so be it.
Have you noticed the ratings on all the negative reviews are so low? Do you think there is a movement to discredit a very powerful training system? Why? I wonder, Probably because it works and they can't stand it.
Could be they are being misled by someone who has a grudge and they are the ones being controlled!!!

Ratings_icons take your money and run.....

joanna w.

I spent 7 years with training in power, and went to level 6.

It is easy to write a positive review as someone in levels 1-4. Levels 1-3 are wonderful, mostly. If you are hooked, if you must, go through with levels 1-3, then run far far away.

There is a reason the drop out rate is %50 or more after the level 6 retreat.

At first it was amazing, positive. I felt high on life. Meditation was new to me....healing was new to me. Of course I was easily hooked. The training is very careful to build you up, to reassure you of your 'power', and how different and special you (they) are. I think I was particularly vulnerable to this. But then again, who doesnt want to feel 'special'.

From level 4 on, things started to get weirder. Only in retrospect can i see the brainwashing that occured. Its hard to put into words, without writing a novel here. But, such a focus on defending oneself, on attack, on evil. Of course, if you expect something to 'get you', something will get you. It is these underlying belief systems in the training that are most scarring

Fayes will tell you in level 6 her story about 'why we are here", and reveals her beliefs about reality and the lower astral plane. We were sent to earth from far away places, something went wrong, now there are souls trapped in the lower astral plane, T.I.P is focused on battling negativity in the lower astral plane and recapitulating souls. yadda yadda. Its like the wizard pulling back the curtain. Unlike levels 1-5, there is no room for your own opinion now, or your own beliefs. The story is laid out. Faye has a story, not unlike every religion having a story. And her story has a very particular slant. It is a belief system of a very wounded person. someone who has had to fight and therefore teaches her students to be wary, an emphasis on protecting themselves, to expect loads of negativity to always be coming after you, to expect life is hard.
I dont doubt the lower astral plane is real. do i feel like it is my calling to spend a good majority of my energy and daily awareness working in the L.A.P? nope.

in fact, my experience. as a level 6 grad i had more anxiety, was less functional, had more psychic crap coming my way then ever before. it was almost unbearable. since i have left, all that has cleared up. instead of daily attacks, i might have a little something once a month that is cleared up easily enough.

My attendance at the level 6 retreat was what sealed the deal for me. I know what beautiful, shiny healthy happy people look like. Sure, there were a few in the crowd. But upon meeting the community at large I began to question my commitment. These people are fearful. They are not connected to their bodies (hell, neither was i after 7 years of the training). Some were so out of it that i felt truly concerned for them. The pain i felt at level 6, realizing the level of brainwashing that was around me, is the most pain i have dealt with. 7 years of my life given. i trusted these people.

my advice? yes, the training is unique. life filled life, as i call it. tempting, for sure. life can feel ordinary sometimes, TIP solves that. i thought i was safe to dabble. i thought that the good outweighed the bad. its only in retrospect that i realize how much damage was done.
everything is affected, and it happens over time so its hard to catch. your core beliefs, your energy, your ability to be present in life and in this world. yes, you feel high. i wont argue that. it comes with a price though.

i personally can attest to
~implied sex abuse from my dad during a level one reading (10 years later, still untrue for me)

~faye herself told me i was sinning against the goddess during a healing after i told her i was (very happily for 4 years now) employed as an escort
~she went on to accuse me of being an unconscious thief and stealing from her wallet (absolutely untrue and downright abusive. to suggest it is unconcious means i cant know for myself if it is true. coming from someone you trust, do you realize how much that messes with you?)
later when i asked other teachers if they saw it, and told them faye saw it, none would say they did, but all would also support faye and tell me to learn from the lesson

~angry, uncalled for outbursts from faye after a simple question was asked as a level 2.
anyway. i could go on. but ive wrote enough...

Since leaving the training (a long, unwinding, two year process now involving a wise, wonderful therapist who also left a cult) I have re-learned to focus on love and beauty, not fear, attacks and battle, and in turn, my life is more beautiful now. I am more connected with joy, I feel more at home in this world, and in my body. I dont have to worry about wearing 17 shields just to feel safe ; )

I have had to re-learn who I am, and what I believe in.
The loss of community was tremendous, but the gain was worthwhile.

Ratings_icons A profound, positive, life-changing experience!

Christopher F.

I have been taking Training in Power courses for 8 years now, and have experienced many positive changes in myself. I have come to feel a master of my own destiny (rather than a victim of my destiny). I now experience a strong connection to my spirit, and a knowingness of who I am on many levels. I highly recommend this course for anyone who feels a need to change the way they are living their lives and is looking for techniques that will help them get there. I have experienced various energy healing / yogic / chi building modalities, and have found the depth of healing and transformation to be greatest through Training in Power's meditational and healing systems.

Ratings_icons Fabulous!!!

Ann F.

I've done a lot of spiritual work over the years and still kept looking for something that really worked. When I took classes from Training in Power I finally found something that really worked for me. Out of curiosity I still looked at other systems but they just didn't have the power that this one does. I continue to take classes and I'm never disappointed. I highly recommend this training!

I would highly recommend Training in Power classes to anyone. The courses are phenomenal in their transformative potential. You get out of them what you put in, so I would recommend that anyone take Level One and complete all the homework and live it for awhile and see for themselves. The energetic tools are invaluable - particularly learning how to energetically shield oneself and healing techniques are quite profound whether you are working on animals or people. I don't usually like groups and this one has its share of human foibles, however, I have never met such an honest and integrous group of individuals. It works for me and I've been taking classes for 7 years.

Ratings_icons Spirit and Self

Angela F.

I have studied with this school for about 10 years. In that time I have found a strength inside that I never knew I had. The teachers taught me how to know myself, how to have a genuine and loving relationship with my Spirit (and 'God'), how to discern truth from deceit, and how to clear myself and others energetically. My healing grew in leaps and bounds with the tools and techniques that they teach. I have watched many people come and go for various reasons over the years. If you are looking for God incarnate you will likely leave disappointed and angry. If you are looking for human beings that seek spirit and may be able to teach you some valuable tools to seek your own then this may be for you. Keep in mind it is a very difficult journey to face yourself fully but know that you can walk away in love anytime you are so moved. Blessings on your journey.

Ratings_icons Training in Power taps into an evolutionary step for humanity, part 1

A M.

My journey as a student of the Training in Power system started 10 years ago. Since then, I have experienced an incredible degree of personal transformation and expansion into my potential. My health has rebounded to a level of vitality I haven't enjoyed since my early 20s. I no longer suffer from crippling asthma, I have built a healthy sense of self-esteem, and I know more about myself and my own path than I ever have before. Ive also rediscovered the ability to live with a sense of wonder and magic in my life, something I had long thought lost to me.

Of course, this type of work is not for everyone. Its not the easiest path, and it demands that you confront the most tender places in yourself. There's no point in pretending otherwise or catering to some fantasy that this is a quick fix or easy answer. It can be, if you put in the required work, like anything else, but there is never any true healing without exposure of the most deeply hidden truths. These are usually the truths that we'd rather not face about ourselves and our lives, the places where we have been made to feel ashamed or somehow unworthy, so it's not surprising that it's hard work. Fortunately, there is also room to find forgiveness and gentleness for the Self and others, in a way that allows and promotes healing and change on a grand scale. Make no mistake, you are always the one in the driver's seat. Your journey is your responsibility, and no one else can do it for you.

A lot of people can be very uncomfortable with this, and if you are one of them, I would suggest you're not really ready for this kind of work. I repeat - if there is any part of you that is still looking for a guru, for someone else to take responsibility for your journey, to 'fix' your life, then you're in the wrong place. However, if you're really ready to take 100% responsibility, then go for it. It's a heck of a lot cheaper than most of the over-hyped new agey courses out there, most of which deliver questionable results. At least, I have yet to meet anyone who achieved significant personal change in their lives with any other training system, especially in such a short time. Sure I've seen people mellow out after 10 years of diligent Buddhist practice, for example. But what this system offers is unprecedented in my experience. Everyone I have known who has entered into this work has undergone profound change in their lives, usually visible on the person right away, with external changes in their lives beginning to show up within a period of weeks.

You are taught a system of active meditation that will literally connect you to your internal power and potential at an incredibly accelerated rate. This is a system of training that will work your metaphysical muscles in much the same way a personal trainer of athletes would work your physical muscles. It takes discipline, effort, and consistency to do well in this work, but it is certainly effective if you are willing to function from a place of integrity and be open and honest with yourself.

Western culture trains us to use our minds with an emphasis on intellectual reasoning, which is based in dynamics of control. Much of the conflict going on in the world today is a result of equal and opposite forces, driven by fear and seeking control of a situation.

This is not a demonstration of power, it is a demonstration of dysfunction. Domination and force is no way to get humanity to move on any issue, but we've seen in the past numerous instances where the wave-front of a shift in consciousness can provoke incredibly swift change. More and more, evolutionary theorists are supporting the idea of sudden shifts and changes in populations as a result of mutation. Rupert Sheldrake's work supports the idea of morphogenetic fields having an impact on sudden local shifts in genetics. The idea that humanity also responds to morphogenetic fields, especially in the area of consciousness, is not particularly far-fetched, it's not even all that new any more.

What is only now becoming more commonly accepted is that our consciousness has a fairly direct impact on our immediate reality. Now I'm not a quantum physicist, so I can't give you mathematical details on how this works, but I'm an excellent synthesist, and this system of training has given me plausible and more importantly, PROVABLY FUNCTIONAL and REPEATABLE answers to dilemmas that have haunted me for my entire life.

This system will teach you to function from a place of pure physics, an evolutionary step up for humanity, where we recognize our place and responsibility, and more importantly, how much power we truly have to effect change I tell you, I havent seen an upgrade this valuable since the opposable thumb.

I seem to have reached the character limit - if you'd like to see the rest of this review, paste the following address into your browser window: http://ear-to-heaven.livejournal.com/1799.html

Ratings_icons Training in Power is a dangerous cult..........

Christiane P.

I warn you !!! I have been 10 years in this cult and here are my experiences / opinions:

Students get caught in a multi-level system, which will lead them out of reality. The founder says, that she is here to save the world. From level III on all the teachings are based on weird paranoid battles against evil. Students are highly abused by the founder. Lots of students are yelled and screamed at and they are called "attacker" as soon as they speak up. No criticism is allowed. The system is governed by lies, betrayel and hidden agendas. Lots of people are seriously traumatized by the founder and the intense brainwashing teachings. The founder is a drug head and shows various symptoms of serious personal mental health problems.

Please go to: http://lessonsinawareness.com/default.aspx and read at least the ex member contributions. You will understand how harmful this founder is and how damaged students are when they finally find the strength to leave this cult. They need years and years to recover. Often the recovery is only possible with professional help.

Please - don't only go away if invited to this cult --- run away --- as fast as you can........Take good care of yourself !!!

Jayne D.

Training in Power offers highly guided meditaton classes for beginners to experts. I loved the course work and the teachers there. They are so helpful!

Since taking these courses, I have learned to manage stress and anxiety so that I can really enjoy my life. I also used to get a lot of stress headaches. They were so bad, I couldn't leave the house without having pain killers on me, jus tin case. I have now learned to manage them by managing my stress levels.

Ratings_icons Use Caution

D M.

To do your due diligence about this group, please go to: http://lessonsinawareness.com/default.aspx

There is much information on this site, it is meant to:

Bring awareness about thought control in everyday life (be it spiritual groups, politics, religion, advertising or parental control)

Examine thought control within the group Training in Power, A Spiritual Journey of Service.

Thought control is ultimately spiritual abuse. Our spirit, or our aliveness, loses its spunk, joy, energy and freedom when we submit to serve someone else's path more than develop our own.

The damage done to the countless students and loved ones she has dismissed from her life who could not submit to her control will continue to be a burden to her until she recognizes her part in it and takes steps to re-examine her "construct" and the way it is parentally taught. Each one of us is new each moment and with eternal hope I offer prayers that she may find what she needs in her learning process and realize that those of us who were close to her will always love her and wish for her health and healing. I hope one day we may be in her life again in a healthy, truly light filled way.
