      Never again. Ordered a fridge scheduled for delivery on a particular day and time. They messed up the scheduled and didn't show up. Once the fridge was installed it was installed improperly was leaning towards my wall causing the doors to not stay open. The day after the fridge was installed my dishwasher stopped working. Purchased a dishwasher from Fredricks only to find out the installer forgot to turn the water back on for my dishwasher which is why my dishwasher wasn't working. Scheduling issues once again. They give me a 4 hours window and show up 3 hours later than the window! What is worse is my dishwasher wasn't installed properly either. At least they put in the garbage disposal for free to correct the install issue. Ordered a washer and dryer from their outlet, dryer didn't work after it was installed. It was supposedly inspected and should've worked. You can see where I will never go back to this company again. I regret having purchased anything from this store. Waste of my time and money.

      Ordered all new kitchen appliances for a kitchen remodel. Rebecca was extremely helpful in finding the right appliances for our budget with no pressure. She even email several package options and rebate info to us (my husband is a deal hunter). We opted for GE Profile dishwasher, range and overhead micro for the goup rebate (and online reviews were good). We went to the clearance center and got a great deal on a Frigidare fridge to save an extra thousand. Clearance guys are great to work with too, but have limited hours so call ahead.\n\nUnfortunately, the fridge - although the correct dimensions - was too thick of a door to open in the space with the new cabinets despite having specs from our cabinet maker and trying for due diligence all around. The install guys were great and pointed out that it may not fit - we didn't realize how much it didn't fit until it was in. No fault to the company in my mind.\n\nRebecca completely made the situation right anyways though and was really responsive. Not only did she send us more options in email and talk to me on the phone, but she really listened for our needs and narrowed us down very quickly to a new fridge at a great price (I researched all she emailed me very closely cause we were going to have to spend more after already overspending on the remodel - their price was the best in the area - sometimes by as much at $600+ for some of the best equipment like Samsung fridges which are the least repaired/returned according to the install guys). Once in store, she had us set up within 20 mins and then didn't charge a restocking fee for taking the clearance fridge back as she didn't think the install guys should have left us with the fridge that didn't fit in the first place which I greatly appreciated (although they seemed to be trying to help us have something in the interim so I don't fault them and appreciate their setting my expectation that I'd have to pay the restocking fee for buying a fridge that didn't fit my space).\n\nI was very impressed and happy with how she went out of her way to make it a great situation for us and will definitely be a repeat customer and loyal to her. One of the best salespeople I've worked with - ever.\n\nDelivery guys were also great - there were two different sets for the appliance groupings for fridge/range and dishwasher/micro it seems - they are in-house and their dedication was noticable. Everyone was on time for the front end of the delivery window and out in 1 - 1.5 hrs.\n\nOnly downside is was that we had to wait a week to have everything delivered based on a full delivery schedule. That wasn't a big deal though as we were finishing the kitchen anyways, but we were told when we bought a month ealier that we could have faster delivery. Overall a minor issue, especially when they really made sure we were/are happy customers.

Fredericks ""lost our paperwork"" so we had to jump through hoops to convince the repair man we were under warranty. Then he tells us everyone in the industry knew its circuit board was bad and would repeatedly burn out. Okay, maybe Fredericks didn't know. But it's their job. Did they know and sell it to us anyway? We got one new circuit board under warranty, then it broke down again within a year and we were out of the warranty period.\r\nReplaced the dishwasher and paid for the extended warranty this time. The new dishwasher is also a dud. Telephone runaround to ge tthe authorized repair guys for the warranty plan. Then they've somehow ""lost the computer file"" for us so we have to wait 3 days (?) just for Fredericks to add us to the warranty computer again--even though we have paper confirmation in hand that we paid for the warranty. (So now we paid extra and are getting worse service!) Then the repair guys aren't available for another week!\r\nFredericks didn't lift a finger to help us or even do their job right in the first place.       Yesterday I went to Fredericks Appliance in Redmond. Our dishwasher stopped working. I asked the guy in the parts department if dishwasher had fuses. He said they don?t have fuses, but they had a new dishwasher on sale for $750 and directed to me to the show room. I didn?t trust this guy. I looked online and found out there was a fuse replacement kit. I called the same guy at Fredericks and asked him the price on the fuse kit I found online. When he told me he could get one for me, I asked why he told me yesterday that dishwasher don?t have fuses ? ummmm. He then said most dishwasher don?t have fuses and mine was rare - BS. So rare I found the part in stock at a local business and guess what ? my dishwasher is now working again. Beware of this company if this is how they service customers. He just guaranteed to never get my business in the future!

      Recently purchased a refrigerator here and had a disappointing experience. Original delivery timeline of 5 days stretched into over two weeks. They did lend us a refrigerator to use in the meantime but it was a hassle. They did discount the item, which we appreciated. Communication was one sided with always being initiated by me. The product is very good, however.

      Bought a washer and dryer with the exact make and model number in mind. Ordered it by phone and within 3 days it was delivered and installed, old units removed. Phone service with Rebecca x106 was fast and succinct and delivery guys were fantastic. Maybe about 45 minutes later than scheduled, but great service.

      We have purchased new appliances from Frederick's twice. Both times we have had wonderful help from the sales people, Debbie in particular. The prices have been better than large home stores and we had many more choices than going to Home Depot or Lowe's and the products were in the store to see, explore and touch. I need to see three dimensional products to get a feel for what I want and Frederick's has this available. The delivery times were quick and the best part is that both times we had different people deliver and they were all were extremely careful of my home and new appliances, courteous, and efficient. We will always use Frederick's. Thank you all so much.

He educated me about the appliances, gave me a great deal and then loaded them into my truck by himself. About eight months later, the fridge was having problems keeping temperature so I called the manufacturer to utilize the warranty. after four months of back and forth with service visits and the warranty running out, I emailed Eric to see what if anything he could do for me. He had a brand new fridge delivered within a week. I had lost my job in the middle problems I was having and honestly didn't know how I was going to pay for a new fridge or more visits from the manufacturers service people.I tell everyone I know about the great service he provided and will not hesitate to make my next purchase.

      Good Morning Cindy:\r\nI am sorry that your installation didn't go as anticipated. I personally apologized to you at the sales counter when you came into the store. I will reply to your concerns here, and share our side of the story.\r\n When you first purchased your cooktop/downdraft on Jan 28,2008, you were advised that the Viking cooktop was a special order because it was Liquid Propane. Once it arrived, you were scheduled to install the 2 items. Only after we arrived on site did we both learn your existing countertop opening was overcut ( too large ) to fit the downdraft we selected. We returned that unit, and replaced it with a different brand that would fit. Yes, the Dacor vent did take longer to receive than we were advised from our supplier. But, as Brad ( scheduler) promised, we would fast track your re-installation. We installed the next day after receipt of same!\r\n I did speak with you about the regulator that was incorrectly installed. We were unable to test our installation because your propane line had not been ran yet. Unfortunate timing, as we would have caught our mistake at that moment, rather than returning all the way to Fall City within 24 hours to rectify.\r\n In closing, I hope this clears up any question that the team at Fredericks Appliance tried their hardest to make your installation go as smooth as possible. I will reply to your concerns here, and share our side of the story.\r\n When you first purchased your cooktop/downdraft on Jan 28,2008, you were advised that the Viking cooktop was a special order because it was Liquid Propane. Once it arrived, you were scheduled to install the 2 items. Only after we arrived on site did we both learn your existing countertop opening was overcut ( too large ) to fit the downdraft we selected. We returned that unit, and replaced it with a different brand that would fit. Yes, the Dacor vent did take longer to receive than we were advised from our supplier. But, as Brad ( scheduler) promised, we would fast track your re-installation. We installed the next day after receipt of same!\r\n I did speak with you about the regulator that was incorrectly installed. We were unable to test our installation because your propane line had not been ran yet. Unfortunate timing, as we would have caught our mistake at that moment, rather than returning all the way to Fall City within 24 hours to rectify.\r\n In closing, I hope this clears up any question that the team at Fredericks Appliance tried their hardest to make your installation go as smooth as possible.       Don't buy from Frederick's - they are extremely unreliable and repeatedly make bad recommendations and promises they don't keep. Here's my situation:\r\n\r\nIn Jan 2008 I ordered a high-end cooktop and downdraft. They scheduled the original delivery for Feb 9.\r\nThen they called and said it would take an additional 2 months to get the cooktop in. After 2+ months, they promised delivery for April 9. On April 9, their installer told me that the downdraft they recommended was the wrong size, and I had to reorder another downdraft at a much higher price. And wait. Delivery was rescheduled to April 23. They missed that delivery date too, saying that the downdraft took longer than expected. \r\n\r\nCooktop was finally delivered and installed April 27. The next day, when we tried to get the propane hooked up, I found out that they installed the regulator on the stove backwards and they need to come out and fix it. It is now almost 3 months after my original purchase and I still don't have a firm delivery date. They have had my money since January, and I still don't have a working cooktop.

      What a good experience we had buying our appliances from Fredericks. When we shopped at a competitor (where we were supposed to get a discount and an extended warranty because they worked with our remodeler) they emphasized over and over again, that this or that product just wasn't good. I wondered why they would have those products if they aren't good. Good question, huh? Luke was great and very knowledgeable...he totally had our confidence. Kevin in installation was also extremely professional and handled our problem immediately. We have always bought from Fredericks over the last 30 years. Anyway, thanks for a great team to make life easier!

      After a negative experience with Fredericks, we decided to come to this page and write down our first hand experience with this local business. We did not use offensive, harmful or abusive language, no personal names or physical attacks, simply what happened. After reviewing our case and this posting, Fredericks agreed to solve the situation with us, and asked us to take the concerning posting down. We agreed but felt we at least had the right to keep it posted for a few days since this is after all what this page is for. Somehow Fredericks managed to get it taken down for us. So be it.       We had to replace our washer and dryer quickly before christmas as relatives were coming in from out of town. I called around checking on prices and delivery dates of the washer my wife wanted that was made by Whirlpool. I talked to Rick Stjern regarding our emergency, he recommended we come to the store and see the washer and make sure it was what we wanted. After an expert presentation by Rick, we decided it was indeed what we wanted. The delivery was arranged for the next day! Everywhere else was three days or more for delivery!
      The machines were delivered the day before christmas.
      Our christmas was saved and I will always go back to Fredericks for expert advice and service.

Our salesperson Luke Colby was terrific. He matched prices, and even beat some internet prices. He also steered us away from certain models he knew were problematic.       Our fridge stopped working on December 23rd. 2 days before the big day. We had not planned for this.       We shopped all of the competition, and found this company to have everything that we were looking for. Best help in the showroom, best prices, and best after the sale help when we needed it. We did have an issue with our microwave, but even when the manufacturer dragged their feet, Fredericks remedied it quickly.

      I cannot believe this company is still in business.\r\n\r\nWe bought a freezer and a refridgerator from Frederick's. The freezer was installed completely unbalanced and could have fallen on someone. When I asked them to set the feet properly, they argued with me and it didn't happen until three weeks later. The refridgerator was not unpacked in any way. \r\n\r\nThey took three months, three visits, and dozens of phone calls to install our icemaker. Each time they arrived, they said they didn't have the parts they needed to do the job. They scheduled each visit without checking with us and they became quite terse on the phone after they arrived and we were on vacation. \r\n\r\nThey scheduled an outside service to do the work and told them all of the parts were waiting at our home though they hadn't left anything here. After this company ordered a complete icemaker kit and scheduled an appointment to install it, they told us to cancel with them.\r\n\r\nWhen I asked to speak to a manager to find out what was going on, they didn't return my calls and no one, except for a guy named Brad, seemed to care about our situation. (That's the reason they get even one star.) Brad, it turns out, was reprimanded for arguing on our behalf.\r\n\r\nIf I had a chance, I'd buy my appliances somewhere else, anywhere else besides Frederick's.

      May 2006, I bought a Bosch dishwasher and washing machine from Fredericks.

      First week of March 07, my dishwasher stopped working. I called Fredericks and the phone was answered by one of their senior salesman (name withheld). I explained my problem and he directed me to one company. Turns out that they do not service Bosch. Clearly, he was not listening when I was explaining my problem.

      I called Fredericks back. He said that at this point, we need to pick to the yellow pages and start calling. It seemed strange that they would not have a list of people, who I could call. Ironically, I did get this information from some other dealer. I asked if I would have to pay for this service from my pocket, and he said I probably would. Which again was wrong, because I was still under warranty.

      I complained that my $2000 plus dish washer was causing more problems than my cheap dishwasher, which I previously had for 5 years. He said "Stuff happens", then said Ok and hung up.

      DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! My mom purchased a $4000 oven from there recently and it was completely damaged, but when contacting them they give you the run around or don't call you back. They are looking for a quick sale for commission, but once you leave that store buyer beware, you are on your own. No buyer security. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY BUSINESS! I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH!!! My husband and I remodel houses in Seattle and there is no way we are stepping foot in that store.

      This is a good, hometown store that's been around as long as I can remember. We recently purchased a dishwasher from them. Good price, in stock, no sales hassles. Delivery was a bit slow because the installer didn't show up to work that day... hmm. But they brought it by the next day!

      Fredrick's has a great line of some new hi tech
      appliances. I was amazed at what some of
      the new washers and dryers can do not to
      mention even the old refrigerator has changed.
