I went for a pedicure. I scheduled at the very last minute but was able to get in for the quick version (sauri sauri I think it's called).

I was sitting in the sanctuary and a lovely woman came in with a foot tub and scrubbed my feet and then gave me a fabulous foot rub. The she just got up and left. I was confused...
...it was only when Melanie came in and said that she was about to start my pedicure that I realized that the first foot bath and massage had nothing to do with the pedicure... I must have looked confused b/c she asked me if I was ok... i had to explain that I thought I had already had a pedicure. Too Funny.

Everything was wonderful. I think for some people, there might have been too much waiting around. Melanie was running late so my 45 minute pedicure appointment took about 2 hours. However, it was exactly what I needed. And "waiting around" in a beautiful and relaxing room listening to soothing music in a spa robe, sipping tea, with a neck warmer and having your feet bathed and rubbed... well for that kind of waiting around, SIGN ME UP!

I am now planning to commit to a spa day and treat myself to some other services. I'm already SUPER excited.

Never been to Ummelina although I heard lots of good things about the place. Finally had the chance to check it out and found that the facility is beautiful, parking is validated and customer service is good. I wish I could say the same for the massage service I received. I won't be returning.

The smells, the services and the decor were so wonderful. I wish i could afford to go more often, as they are pricey. (But worth every cent.)

Too bad there isn't a zero star rating.

I had a hectic week of meetings and based on the recommendation of a colleague was hoping for deep relaxation at Ummelina. Unfortunately the promise of the services as described on their website was never met. Instead throughout the entire Pacific Rim Journey they were either selling me on their products or trying to upsell me on services. I came to relax, I got a sales pitch at every turn while there, and I walked out $360 poorer and frustrated by the experience. I called and emailed to express my dissatisfaction and they essentially defended their practices, gave me an empty apology, and left it at that. I've been to a number of spas around the country, DO NOT waste your time or money on this place.

Jaala is an amazing massage therapist. We were on vacation from Chicago and needed some R&R. We scheduled a massage at Ummelina based upon a recommendation from a friend of ours that had visited Seattle about 8 months ago. All she could talk about was this spa experience. It really is that. They treat you well. JAALA is wonderful - she was my massage therapist. She listened to all my concerns and needs and was great. She has really strong technique, which I can appreciate being in the same industry and getting a massage/month, and utiliizes it well. I cannot say enough about Jaala - she is worth it. We each had a 90 min session and that would be my recommendation - it's worth it! Tell her Jason from Chicago sent you!

I received a $250 gift certificate for Ummelina for Christmas two years ago and finally decided to go use it. Ummelina came highly recommended so I was pretty excited. I scheduled a 60 minute massage ($90) and a facial ($120) and thought I would have enough for tips (or I could save it again to use towards something else.

First of all, the massage was okay. It wasn't great and I have certainly had better for less. The girl was nice and friendly so otherwise I have no complaints.

Moving on to the facial...I would have to say this experience turned me off of facials going forward. The main reason why I even felt compelled to write a review is because today, 5 days later, I am (STILL) more broken out than I have been since I was in high school! I'm embarrassed to be at work and had to cancel lunch plans yesterday because it is so bad.

The final straw was when the girl at the front desk said I owe $250 for services (not including tip). She then broke it down so I could determine how much tip to pay each person and it was, sure enough, $90 for the massage and $120 for the facial. Hmmm...I can still only get to $210. I was irritated at that point and just wanted to leave.

Overpriced, bad experience.

I love to visit all kinds of spa's and i am new to seattle so i went to Ummelina and it was great. I had a wonderful massage with Jen. She said she had been there a long time and i can see why they keep her around! :) it was a different spa than i am used to, hard to explain, more natural i guess? and it made my experience feel really authentic, not cold and sterile. i loved the massage and the atmosphere, i highly recommend ummelina!!!!

I've been to about a dozen or so spas around the country. While vacationing in Seattle, my bf and I did one of the larger couples packages they offer and massages. First off, its completely true that Ummelina's does have a really nice set up. We were 15 minutes early for our treatment which, at most spas, is appreciated. The girl at the front desk rolled her eyes at us and informed us that we would have to wait. The Equator treatment was nice in theory but they only have one masseuse for two people! Which means that you spend half of the 2 hours doing nothing. I'm not sure how they can justify charging for two. Both of us thought that these were the worst two massages we've ever had at a spa.

Next is where the fun began. As we're leaving I hand the girl at the front desk my credit/debit card which she tries a few times without success and then calls the card company. They tell her that the card is now shut off. She hangs up the phone tells me that she refuses to even give me the card back because its not mine. I volunteer to literally dump out my wallet to prove that I am indeed the person whose name is on the card. She gets the manager who is also EXTREMELY rude. She makes a horde of comments implying that I am a criminal and poor, then calls building security and THE POLICE to the spa and tells them that I am trying to leave without paying and that I've stolen someone's wallet. I had to explain over and over again through my sobbing that I was on vacation and wasn't carrying hundred of dollars of cash on me and that I would be happy to give them ALL of my information and more. Even the police recognized right away that I wasn't a criminal. They completely ruined my spa day over a credit card company glitch that was solved by the next morning.

If you like snooty people, like spending a lot of money to have someone kinda rub you, and would like to know what it feels like to be a criminal, go to Ummelina's. Otherwise, go anywhere else.

I have been to both locations and it's insane! I regularly visit seattle, as that i live in c-town!, but went to the Yakima area for some wine. The spa is gorgeous! the therapists i had were amazing, i am assuming they are from seattle, but unsure as that they were so good. I have visited multiple spa's in c-town and nothing is like the yakima spa. the shower changes flow of water, there is a tub that is incredible. I was really surprised to find something like this in Yakima. It's right next to hotel, the Hilton, which next time i will stay there for convience! Super surprised about the experience. thank you Ummelina for classing up Yakima and now i can get wine and massage in the same place!!!! YEAH

My friend and I visited the Yakima Spa where I had the full day spa package spending a little over $500. not including a very generous gratuity My friend had the fusion facial and bought products spending approximately $250. She was very pleased with her facial and I was very pleased with all my treatments. Melini and Ashley were great. However, we were disappointed with the so called "relaxation room" and dining area which are also work areas. It appears that they are trying to be "Zen like" but there is no water flowing in the areas except the faucets where attendants are filling vessels, etc. A microwave is running and when I was supposed to be relaxing after my facial, three people were receiving pedicures in this "relaxation room". The music in the treatment rooms was loud and not the soothing sounds I am accustomed to in other spas I frequent. At the end of my "spa day "I asked if someone would drive me back to my hotel a few blocks away since my friends had gone on to the wine country and would not be returning to Yakima until several hours later. The receptionist and manager seemed shocked and totally unprepared for this service request and the receptionist asked if I wanted the number of a taxi service. Anywhere else they would at the very least offer to call the number for you. Customer Service is one area where Yakima needs improvement. When I asked them to call for me, the manager went to the hotel next door and had them call the cab and she asked me to wait in the hotel lobby. Pros for the Yakima location are: treatments & treatment rooms are top notch, friendly attendants. Cons: Customer Service, relaxation room, dining & dressing areas, background music, lack of sophistication.

I travel a lot for work and I am afforded the luxury of visiting spa's of all caliber and Ummelina hands down is one of the best. I have in fact been to both locations in Seattle and Yakima both amazing. Different vibe, probably because of location? I was shocked to find something like Ummelina in Yakima, it was perfect that it was next to my hotel!
I recommend the facial, with Rachel in Seattle and Milini(believe this is correct spelling). Thank you for making my stressful traveling manageable!

One of the worst SPA experiences in my life, this place doesn't even have air conditioning, it was hot, loud and dirty, this place smells like mold, they had me waiting for over 20 minutes and nobody even offered a cup of tea or nothing. They want you to buy products, too much pressure. DISGUSTING, I?m never going back

Me and my mom went to this spa and it was phenomenal. When we first entered it smelled like heaven, it smelled like NATURAL herbs and essences instead of those migrane/nausea causing chemical parfumes. This spa is cleaner than clean, the only other con I can say is that as you enter you enter into the store and that puts a very very very small amount of pressure to buy stuff and may detract from some peoples relaxing experience. We were helped right away and were escorted to very nice very clean changing rooms. The only con is that they are co-ed but the doors close all the way so it tottaly doesnt matter. Also if you are uncomfertable undressing all the way they will let you keep your clothes on, the robes they give you are the best I've ever felt. Then we were escorted to a very very nice lounge were we were greeted with warm chairs and a blanket. We were given a neck wrap that was the perfect temperature and were given HOT tea! And then we got an amazing foot massage with essential oils, My feet are very ticklish and the woman who was massageing my feet adapted to feet my needs. Who could ask for more!? Also there were these really cool all natural air fresheners that smelled really nice they did everything for you, sprayed the air fresheners, put slippers on you, get honey for your tea even if the hunny is right next to you. We went to get our massages and it is the best massage I have ever gotten, top notch. There was soothing music, the sheets were so soft and the massuse was super polite and very helpful, the shower before was super helpful for relaxation, the other spas I have been to have never offered that or any of the luxuries I recieved. The staff was top notch and helpfull and not nosy at all, they were very efficient and they made my experience perfect. I would recomend this to anyone who wants to experience the true meaning of perfection and luxurie.

I was recently in Ummelina for a couple of services and it was more than i could have asked for! I had a pedicure with Marika and it was so relaxing and not what i was expecting! I was able to lie down on a table(maybe a massage table?) I have never almost fallen asleep during a pedicure. Then I had an Equator with Jen it was like nothing I had ever experienced! First i was in a shower that was described as a waterfall and it totally was! Then I had a salt scrub and then moved to a hot room where i was covered in mud! it was so cool! i would recommend this to everyone. Don't listen to the bad hype my experience was unbelievable.

This is one of the worst spas I've ever visited and I'm no stranger to spas. The changing rooms are co-ed with curtains that don't close all the way. The staff gave us no welcome and explanation because they were "handling" something at the front. While we waited for our services the microwave was in constant use and the tea was lukewarm. I asked that it be reheated TWICE before I got something about as hot as my tap. After our services we were taken to a shower where the water was warm, not hot, warm. Having it set on the highest setting gave me, essentially a warm tea bath. Ick. After that no one escorted us to the sitting room or offered us tea. For 20 minutes. That's right: our massage girl got called away and a message was apparently given to another staff person to take care of us but that person forgot. HOW DO YOU FORGET ABOUT YOUR CLIENTS??? After 20 minutes, I went to the front desk to ask if anyone knew we had been waiting and in fact, no one did. The person who has so graciously "forgotten" about us then brought us more warm tea. This is the opposite of a "relaxing spa experience". When I complained on the way out I was told by staff that they would talk to the manager and have her call me. She called TWO AND A HALF WEEKS LATER! Only to offer up one excuse after another about staffing issues, running a busy spa and opening another one somewhere else in eastern WA - however she did give me an apology and offered to send me a bottle of scented something. That was over a month ago and I have not received it, or a note of apology. Don't get me wrong, I didn't expect my services to be comp'ed but COME ON! This is a dirty, dusty, warm watered "spa" where the staff are either over-worked or incompetent and everyone is afraid to do or say anything other than that they're sorry and they'll need to take it up with the manager or owner. This spa is a pathetic waste of money. Don't make the same mistake we did.

As a former employee of Ummelina Yakima Day Spa I want everyone to know what a wonderful experience I have had working for such a great Spa! I'm now 8 months pregnant and due to wanting to be a stay at home mom had to resign from working at Ummelina's. The staff and owners treated me like family and went above and beyond their duties to make me feel special. I have had many services at Ummelina as well as watched clients reactions to their experiences at Ummelina. I will continue to be a paying customer as well as recommend everyone to please try Ummelina..its a life changing experience. I now realize the importance of taking care of your mind, spirit and body, Ummelina is the place that allows you to do this. Try it out and experience the excellent care that I have had the pleasure to partake in...all my love to my fellow tribal members. Sincerly Amanda...Yakima Washington.

Pros: Ambience and serice is excellent!

From the moment you arrive at Ummelina, you feel the warm and friendly vibe of the place. I had a full day of services including a 90 minute Massage (by the amazing Stephanie!), a Healing Facial and the Crowning Glory (done with incredible skill and the magic hands of Fawn :) and an Aromatic Waters treatment with Amanda who was also just great. The spa is beautiful, tranquil, exotic and very unusual in the menu of services offered. Ummelina's global theme is so unique - just the aromas and decor send you off into another world of bliss and relaxation. I also enjoyed the Spa Lunch in their Apothecary where they blend their own herbal teas, which were incredible! My focus for the day was "detox" and I couldn't have been more pleased by the results. I felt wonderful when I left. I am from NY and was traveling on business. I will DEFINITELY return to this spa when I have the opportunity !! Don't look any further...

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! Finally used my gift certificate that I received from my husband and daughter over a year ago. Went on my birthday and received first class treatment. The water treatment was first class. I could've spent the whole day in the shower and the jetted tub. But no, I also got a fantastic massage and probably the best facial ever. They put warming mitts on your hands and feet while giving your face the best facial ever. Try not to fall asleep or drift off to dream land. They also don't force you their products on you afterwards like some unnamed spas. But their products are also fantastic and I highly recommend just about anything there.

I don't normally write reviews, but i thought i should give my 2 cents! I have been going to Ummelina for years. I have tried other spa's and even followed some of my therapists when they leave, but i alway's find myself coming back. All of the massages and facial i have had have been amazing. I never request anyone because everyone i have had is, yes, amazing! Thank you Ummelina for the years of great massages and the extractions i have desperatly needed and not wanted!!

I had a crowning glory(?) and it was so wonderful. I needed some me time, but on a limited budget so i tried the crowing glory and it was everything and more! Even though the prices of some treatments can be a little pricey, i guess all downtown spa's are pricey, i found something affordable! it was only supposed to be 30 min. but i got a shower and a footbath that was a nice added surprise! I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Customer service is the most important aspect of a spa. Ummelina really dropped the ball the day my sisters and I visited. My appt was for a "seaweed" pedicure and it was very expensive compared to others that I have had. I started out with their foot soak. The person that was assigned to me was new and really acted like he was new. Employees should practice on non paying customers before being allowed to work on those paying their very high prices. The therapists assigned to my sisters and other people in the lounge area all came to get their guests and I was left sitting there. One of the therapists came back in and told me that my therapist was very pregnant and was moving rather slowly but would be out in a minute. After 15 minutes I finally asked if my therapist was actually there and I was told that she had called in (she had missed her bus) but would be at the spa in 15 minutes. After waiting a half hour, my therapist showed up and was not apologetic in the least. The pedicure was nothing special and I got out of there much later than the rest of my family, making me late for our lunch reservation.

Spas are a competitive business and there are many others in downtown Seattle. I will not be back to Ummelina.

This was my best spa experience ever. I love going to different spas and Ummelina's is far above the others. You can smell their fantastic spa aroma as you are going up the elevator and as soon as you walk in you feel pampered. Their robes are comfortable, they don't tie thus I wasn't adjusting it constantly like I do at other spas. The sanctuary was a great place to begin, relaxing with an outstanding foot bath & massage. If you are able to, get Nana he's a big African man who gives a fabulous foot massage and try to sit in the lounge in the corner, very comfy. I had a facial which was the best. Melanie, was very professional and made me feel like a queen, I think I fell asleep. Afterwards I had a shower with all their jets and sprays. They have all their products available for use and was able to wash my hair. Afterward I relaxed in the sanctuary in that comfy lunge chair with a heat wrap around my neck with some tea. What a fabulous way to end a stressful day, I felt so relaxed afterwards. The next day, my face looked fantastic from the facial, I'm going to go back and buy some of their products for daily use, my skin never felt so good. If you haven't been to Ummelina's before be sure to do so, you won't regret it.

I called in early December '07 to book a party of 6. I got their voicemail so I called the next day. Again, I got their voicemail, this time I left my name, number, date of appt. and that it was a party of 6. Two weeks went by and I still hadn't heard anything. I called again and finally spoke to someone, she told me to email all the info, which I did that night. A week and a half later, I had no reply. I finally called a manager and explained the situation. I then told her we'd be taking our business elsewhere. I called a different spa and within 10 minutes they booked me 6 appts. Two weeks later, an Ummelina manager called me and explained that their group booking therapist had left the company due to an emergency. She tried to book us again, and I again told her that we'd be taking our business elsewhere. I am so apalled by the lack of service they showed me. I work at a high end spa and our #1 priority is our guests. If someone leaves the company, we have someone fill in for them. We NEVER let our guests feel unwanted and ignored.

I had a facial on December 27,2007. It was an experience I would never forget. My therapist was Laura Bailey who had magic touch! Her touch was so gentle yet I felt her viatal energy and strength running through me like a river! My face felt so refreshed after the facial. I definately will go back for more. Thanks, Laura.

As a guy, I was a little nervous about going to a place like Ummelina. But I received a gift certificate for a Pacific Rim package and I HAD TO DO IT. I am glad I did. It was the perfect RX for an hour-and-a-half out of the hustle and bustle of life.

Yea, it might be a bit over the top for a guy; but it was a gift and that made it ok.

The shower/soak was great, with excellent products that guys would never buy for themselves. Came out ready for the massage, ready to relax.

Massage therapist was very professional and knew her stuff.

Front desk people a bit smarmy (SNOOTY) but that was the only drawback.

I travel a lot, however i am in seatle often and I love Ummelina! It is abnormal to find such a quality spa that offers such good product and services. My skin has totally changed since i started using the Ummelina facial cleansers. I don't have a certain therapist that i see because in my opinion everyone i have been to is way above par! I also get into the big tub they have and it is great for a gentle detox after traveling and doing what we do!

Thank you Ummelina for alway's treating me so well, and maintaining your excellence. PS good luck in Yakima!

My friend told me that Ummelina Spa was great at time but she had also had some bad experience there to. So i decided to try it when i was back in Seattle .I had a massage and a pedicure scheduled. I was slightly turned off in the the begging because i had to wait forever to get back into the changing room. Once i was in the spa i felt really relaxed. I got a great foot bath by Nana. Then i was lead away to my massage. It was the best massage i had ever gotten. I travel regularly and i am always get massages once i land but Erin was the best therapist i had ever been to. I felt so relaxed at the end of the day. I would recomend this spa to everyone.

Tried the facial and massage while on vacation, and both were phenomenal - I've never been able to let anyone touch my feet, too ticklish, but Leslie and Iris got me past that. The massage let me turn my head for the first time in months, and the facial improved my skin by 100% - the facial products didn't bother my allergies, either - I'll be going back to Seattle and to Ummelina for certain!

I was in recently and I had a facial with MJ and a pedi with Allison and it was great! I have been a long time client of Ummelina's and they have always been good, but this was above what i expected. MJ was very knowledgable and had some good suggestions. My pedi was not what i expected at all the woman is new, but she was, again, above my expectations. Very relaxing, great massage, everything it should be. I am very impressed. Good luck with your 2nd location.

My favorite part of the spa is the sanctuary. The area where you wait to get your service. They soak your feet and give you a great foot massage! The one thing I didn't like about this place was that when I got my massage, you can hear the person next door taking a shower. This place is definately worth a try!! another thing...they have these great vitamin c tablets!!!

I recently visited Ummelina, i am on a budget but i decided to treat myself to a few services so i did a lot of research. Although not all of the comments are stellar my experience was incredible. I found the front desk to be very accomadating and friendly and they even allowed me to upgrade one of my treatments for a very small amount because the lady doing my treatment had an extra 30mins. I had never heard of anything like it before!!! I got a free footbath before my service and my pedi and massage were above my expectations. I would recommend this to anyone. Thank you to the staff of Ummelina, you made my day!!!!

I wish I had read the reviews earlier. I was a repeat customer who was treated with just disorganized, uncoordinated service. I voiced my displeasure during the course of the booking, hoping that it would let them realize what a nightmare it has been. I opted to keep the appointment... it was too late to book elsewhere, and I didn't want to disappoint my guests... that was a big mistake.

I am sad to say that after being in contact with the co-owner/manager, I am convinced of their low standard of service. After they have caused me to waste my time calling back to sort things out four separate occasions... few days later, I find that we are charged double...$266 x 2 so then we have to deal with them again... I want absolutely nothing to do with this place or their lack of professionalism. Come to think of it, my gift certificate was under a different amount also. I'm glad I didn't purchase products just to be asked for a refund weeks later. They didn't realize I was a repeat customer and treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about... because my name was misspelled. This is after I've patiently spelled out every name the 6 different times I've had to call them. This place is absolutely not worth your time.

I am a visitor to Seattle, so I have not tried other spas in the area. However, I am a frequent spa-user, so I feel like I know what I should be able to expect in certain price points. I was excited to have a massage at Ummelina based on the reviews on this website. Unfortunately, mine was a disappointing experience. The "meditation" room where you wait for your service is small, crowded, and noisy (both street noise as well as noise from the heavily-trafficked open hallway adjacent to the room). The throw blankets on the chairs are used by multiple clients without being changed out -- yuck. Reading materials are out of date and esoteric. The room where I received my massage was lovely. However, it was located right next to the shower. The wall between the shower room and the massage room was so thin that I could hear users' every move in the shower, even over the roar of the shower itself. None of these problems would be a big deal in and of itself. But, the combination of all of these little issues made this a less than average spa visit. The massage itself was okay; the atmosphere of the spa was not relaxing or rejuvenating.

I have been to a lot of spa's in Seattle and I don't often give feedback, but my experience was incredible. Their front desk was really good, I was worried because of some feedback I read, but I didn't experience anything like I had read. I had a Massage, with Kiley (?), and she was so sweet and really listened to me. Then I had a Manicure and Pedicure (I knew it would be great I have had them before) their nail ladies are really skilled. It is well worth the money. I say nay to the nay sayers I love Ummelina. Keep up the good work!

I have recently visited the spa! The best custmer service ever. I had the best treatment called the Marakesh. I had a tub treatment that felt like an under water massage then went into a beautifull steam room and had a scalp massage and a full body scrub with sea salts, then had a massage After my massage the therapist dusted my body with a powder of crushed rose pettals! Very Friendly staff Favorite massage therapist there would be Trish, Jen and Molly. Front desk staff made me feel like a queen!

From the aromatic oils that draw you up off of fourth avenue to the organic products that adorn the shelves, Ummelina is the Queen of spas. The traditional foot baths that start the journey are an amazing touch to easing the body and soul. My favorites are the equator (duo is a must), theraputic massages, revive facials and seaweed pedicures. Ummelina's staff is friendly and will send you home with amazing products to recreate home spa rituals that will have your body and skin showing results and thanking you endlessly. I am hooked and telling all of my firends!

I received an online gift certificate from Ummelina. The services (a massage and facial) were fine. When I checked out the clerk told me that my gift certificate was for more than the services I had used. That was a nice surprise, and not wanting to waste the money, the clerk suggested I use the balance to purchase some of their products. I did, although didn't use them for long because they made me break out. (luckily I didn't pay for them right?) Well....
Over a month later, I received a phone call from the "manager" saying that they had charged my service to the wrong gift certificate and I owed a difference of $60. The guy even asked if I actually had a gift certificate or if I just had them look one up, insinuating some dishonesty on my part! So insulting! When I said I didn't think I should be responsible for their mistake since I only bought the products because of the erroneous remaining balance on the gift certificate, I was handed over to the general manager who got on the phone and rudely told me they would just charge my credit card if I didn't pay the balance. These people have taken a generous gift from a close friend and completely ruined it for me. I will NEVER go back to Ummelina, and I suggest you don't waste your time.

Cons: Bad Service, Rude Staff

.

Ummelina use to be a great spa. Not so much anymore. The spa is dirty and the front desk is run by young kids who don't know what they are doing. With so many spas opening in the Seattle area you would think the owner would get a clue. I was there last month with a group of women and we were treated so poorly that I would never recommend this spa to anyone. With so many great spa's now open in the Seattle area don't waste your money or time here.

Pros: none

Cons: to many to mention

My treatment at Ummelina was excellent. What was not excellent was getting a $100 charge on my credit card for a "cancellation". In fact I had rescheduled my services 3-4 weeks prior to my actual treatment. I got my confirmation call and went in at the scheduled time. When I paid on the way out, no one even mentioned that they had charged my credit card two days prior. When it came through on my bill, I contacted them thinking it was a mix up because I paid partially with a gift certificate. It did not corrected so I called the credit card company and again contacted Ummelina.. Only then did I learn that they were charging me as a "no show" for services that had been rescheduled weeks in advance--that they say were two days prior to when I actually had my appointment. The worst part has been their attitude. My credit card company said they will handle it.

I enjoy going to this place. They treat you like royalty. It smells so wonderful and I instantly relax the second I enter the spa. My massage treatments have been great and so have my facials. This place is a must!!!

I used Ummelina services for over two years - for facials and pedicures. Their pedicure is one of the best salon experiences I have ever had. However, they are very expensive and a time-heavy investment. Moreover, they do not seem to reward loyal customers in any way (whether with good customer services from the desk agents or otherwise).

My wife booked a Safari for, shavel(?), manicure, pedicure, and added on a massage. I have had spa stuff before but never like this. The shavel is a facial and a shave add it up and you get a shavel, incredible. Whoever came up with this is a genius! My manicure and pedicure where with Delia my hands and feet where new again, the picture in the room that i was in said one of the other girls that worked there was voted number 1 once...if my vote counts i vote for Delia. My massage was great too. Thank you for making my experience great and thanks for booking this for me Sweetheart!

I frequent spas all over the world and Ummelina is definitely at the top of my list. In Seattle it is number 1!!! I love the salt glow and it is my number one gift for friends on the east side of the mountains. I also now know why Ummelina is know for the Half day excursion. I had Melanie for a facial and Jen for my massage I left feeling pampered and taken care of. I will not stop going!!! Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful experience for me and the friends and family I bring in.

Today was my first time to Ummelina and I had the Renewal package and my boyfriend had an hour and a half massage. The facility is beautiful and we both had an excellent and very relaxing experience. The desk staff is not quite as polished as one would expect for a facility at this price level, but they were friendly and helpful. The massage therapists were very skillful (Joy and Lindsay) and we will definitely go back again. The foot bath was unexpected and a great start to a relaxing 2 hours.

I used to frequent this spa quite a bit years ago but stopped going because I felt that the staff was rude and the services were falling behind. Recently someone purchased a gift certificate for me so I decided to try it out again. Oh how things have changed, they have a new hydrotherapy tub that is amazing! The staff is much more accomidating and the spa as whole seems cleaner and nicer! I don't know if management changed or what but it is very nice now. They also seem to have very tallented practioners working for them My massage was WONDERFUL. My therapist did exactly what I wanted her to do and seemd very confident in her abililties! I am now an ummelina client again!
