This is the best breakfast place! It can be packed on Saturday and Sunday mornings, but they have a nice place to wait and sometimes even put out samples. During the week it is a great place to go for a late breakfast and the lunch menu is nice too. The BLT's are very well made. But I nearly always just have breakfast. Their bacon is especially wonderful - fully cooked and thick-sliced. They have some great specialties - dutch babies, a wonderful custard-y apple pancake, Swedish pancakes with ligonberry sauce. The prices are moderately high but it is worth it. The service has always been wonderful and the space is very pleasant. Great place to take company for a special breakfast.

OPH has been a Crown Hill establishment since Fall 2004, consistently delivering great breakfasts at an affordable price. If you're looking for a quiet place to have breakfast, look elsewhere. This is a neighborhood breakfast hangout where most of the seating is at communal tables. It's a great place to take the kids and get to know your neighbors.
Must haves are the apple pancake, dutch baby and their hot chocolate, although my favorite lately has been their spectacular potato pancakes. Be aware, though, the apple pancake and dutch baby can take up to half an hour to make, especially if they're busy. The waitstaff is usually prompt, but can have lapses at times (forgetting to refill water glasses and coffee mugs).
This restaurant can be packed on the weekends, so call ahead to put your name on their waiting list.
