This is a great place to spend an hour or two on a rainy day with a toddler. My almost one year old son had a great time in the "Discovery Bay" area, which has lots of stuff geared for the age 0-3 set. It seemed like most of the museum

Pros: Lots of interactive, stimulating stuff for kids

Cons: Parking is a pain

This place is fantastic for the birth - 4 range. There is so much to do and see that we go at least once a month. All of the exhibits and pretend play keep my toddler entertained time and again and that's all I ask!

Pros: Variety, Learning Value

Cons: Toddler-focused, opens at 10AM

.

The Childrens museum is very small, the number of exhibits is limited to toys designed for children 4 or under. My 10 year old wanted to leave after 25 minutes.

The Childrens Museum is located in the lower level of the Seattle Center House and is easily accessible by the Monorail. The museum creates minature worlds which enchanting and intriguing for small children. There are small houses which represent different cultures, a grocery store complete with shopping baskets, play food and the all important cash register and a mexican restaurant.

There is a cave for exploring and a special area set aside for the very youngest visitors. If you are ever in Seattle on a whirlwind trip the Children's Museum is a perfect spot for kids to have a break.

PROS: fun activities for young children

I love this place, it is interactive and full of creative and educational fun! As a parent I have a blast everytime I take my children there. We go early and stay most of the day. There are eateries very close by and other fun things to do. The price is very reasonable or you can always buy a year pass, and go as much as you want.

The walk arounf the rock is littered with gum and dirt. The place should really be maintained better. All in all, still a great place for learning. A simple fix on most of the machines would render them working and impress the children

Pros: fun, informative, child sized

Cons: dirty, many things broken, some exhibits closed

It, like much of Seattle Center, needs to be overhauled. Take som of the admission price or ride money and mak it a little worthwhile. Been there twice with my little girl and won't go back. Went once and was a bit disappointed, tried it
