4 Stars: Excellent! (by Diane M.)

Excellent food, wine, atmosphere and service! The appetizers are wonderful! They seem overpriced, but the portions are actually quite generous. Wait staff was very friendly and very helpful in recommending wines! Very cool interior as well. You can choose any beer or wine that they display, which is quite a lot!

5 Stars: Touch of European feel, awesome selection of beer. Great patio and tapas! (by Karen H.)

Everyone I have taken to The Red House has loved it. The food was excellent, with a huge variety. We best like to get a variety of their tapas style plates and share. Out of the ordinary cuisine.

The inside has a cozy feeling but it is the patio that we love, with the beautiful and creative gardening. The one thing I will hold back on praise for is that, like so many restaurants these days, it is fairly noisy inside.

1 Stars: Awful service. Unremarkable food. (by Adrian W.)

Went there with a small group for a friend's birthday lunch. The waitress described my special at the top. And later, when ordering, I asked her about the particulars of the dish again. Prawns wrapped in prosciutto, with garlic noodles. Yum. I ordered it.
When it came, it was prawns and scallops with plain white rice. I'd ordered it for the prosciutto and noodles. No apology. I really couldn't think of anything else and no alternatives or menu were proferred. I asked to have the prawns and at least add the noodles.
Another one of us had ordered a sandwich and it never came.
We waited. And waited.
My friend asked to have his sandwich to go, as it was running late.
My not-what-I'd-ordered order eventually came. I'm not even sure that the noodles were of the correct variety for this dish.
No apology.
No follow-up. And no "goodbye" from our waitress when we left.
I won't be back. Don't think the others in my group will be, either.
Grade: F

PROS: Patio. Nice wine.
CONS: Everything else. Won't be back.
