When we bought my wife's Bronco, it was obvious that the previous owner used it for hunting. The cargo area had thousands of fine dog hairs woven into the carpet and there were what appeared to be blood stains on the carpet as well. We gave the truck to Pat at Island Detail to see what he could do. They actually gutted the vehicle down to bare metal inside and, when we got it back, it looked and smelled like new.
We were impressed enough that we are taking our Cobra in to him today and my Saleen is scheduled for July. We have, and will continue to, referred our friends in the Mustang hobby to Pat for any detail work needed.
I have used many detail shops before only to be disappointed and having to redo it myself. Not so with this place.
They cleaned under the plastic covers that go over the seat rails where it bolts to the floor; wow. They found things I had been missing for three years; wow again. They cleaned the underside of my car. That seems a little excessive, but they said it was included. I'm impressed. My car was truly cleaner than I have ever seen it. I was also told about needed services on it and where I could go to get the work done.
It was more expensive than most shops, but I feel I really got my money's worth!
Overall: Delighted, completely and utterly delighted!
Pat took care of my car, and when I say he took care of it I mean he really did. My car was treated to an oil change, detail and they got some of the little dents out. One of my friends asked me the next day why I bought the exact same new car. (I thought it was kind of funny) I was happy with everything. It was the cleanest I have ever seen my car. Should I drive it???
Pros: Unbelievable results
Cons: A little tough to get an appointment
