Art Supply Northwest is a good place to go if you are looking for paints, brushes, clays, ect. They have a nice selection and the people who work there are very helpful and friendly. I haven't taken any classes there yet, but they offer quite a few different painting, drawing, and other art classes. All in all, it is just a nice independent art store to feed your creative side.

Upon walking in the store I was nearly attacked by a yipping poodle that belongs to the very rude woman running the cashier. This already had me upset that her dog was allowed in the shop and to make it worse off of a leash! Some people are allergic to dogs and I'm sure 100% of the population prefers to keep their ankles intact and functional! The old woman at the cashier was nothing but disgustingly rude telling me to not mind her poodle who is growling and about to attack me. I asked her for help finding an item and she told me, "We don't have it!", in a short and angry manner and proceeded in surfing the internet before I even left her sight.
The woman who operates this shop is digustingly rude and the prices are outrageous!
I'm not about to buy a 4oz single tiny tube of aryclic paint for $13.00. This place is a joke! I don't enjoy being abused on my shopping trip for art supplies!
Pros: Nothing positive to say here.
Cons: Terrible service, yipping store poodle, rude attitude

I had a great time shopping there. The staff was helpful and knew thier stuff. There was a class going on while I was there. Sure sounded like a good time!
The owner took me on a tour of the new studios... wowzers, they are nice! So was the owner!
Bright and happy faces, well stocked shelves, sales people who knew the products, clean, and bright.
Pros: great atmosphere, well stocked, knowledgable
Cons: no cons, no attitude

When I walked in the door, I informed the younger girl who helped me that I was looking for supplies for an acrylic art class taught by Lynnwood Recreation Center. I even showed her the list of supplies, and that they said there would be a 15% discount at this store, which is why I cam there. At first she was nice. But then I got the older grumpy one, who had nothing to offer me except attitude. I asked her if the teachers at the Lynnwood Rec Center were any god, but all she could say was a terse "Well I can tell you about the teachers at this store but nowhere else" Then I wasn't allowed my 15% discount which I was told by Lynnwood Recreation Center that Everett Artist's Supply & Framing would honor. In fact, I was talked to with a raised hostile voice, "You were supposed to tell us that before we rang you up!" I DID TELL THEM! RIGHT WHEN I WALKED IN THE DOOR! I spent $125 and for what? I am never going back to this store unless I want abuse and hostile customer service.
Prices are very high here too. A canvas normally priced at $10 costs over $16.00 at this store. A brush priced at $4.95 costs over $11.95 at this store. If you're rich and love to be yelled at when spending your money..then by all means, shop at Everett Artists Supply & Framing. But you won't find me there!
Pros: Free Parking.
Cons: Expensive Products. Hard to find location. Rude and uninformed Staff.
