Reviews for Conger Liz Dvm - Des Moines Veterinary Hospital

Ratings_icons Des Moines Vet Hospital is gret

Lee B.

I have moved away from the Des Moines area and when I did I asked Dr. Conger if new of any vets in the Bremerton area. She said she did not, but found out today she did. When I walked into the Relling Small Animal Hospital on Perry Ave in Bremerton I was greeted by Dr. Charles Crawford, DVM and he informed me he new Dr. Conger, but should would not remember his as a Vet as he was working at a clinic in Seattle as a Vet Tech when he worked for her. He told me she was a great doctor and he really enjoyed working along side her.

Ratings_icons Love the Doctors!

Kristine K.

I have been going here for several years. They aren't the most convenient vet, but they are the best I've ever had. Dr. Onorati is my main vet. He's always willing to answer questions (I ask a lot!). He also does a thorough job. Dr. Conger has had to fill in for him sometimes and she is very good, but not as warm as Dr., Onorati. I've had a few kitties die while using them and they are very compassionate. Danielle is my favorite vet tech and she's very knowledgeable. They are very busy, but it's usually easy to get appointment, or you have the option or dropping them off for the day without a kennel charge. If you go in, be prepared to wait a little bit. Sometimes I call in and I can be on hold for a while; so calling in the morning is best. The "inconveniences" are worth the service. I tease that I ought to get a discount with all the money I've spent there ;-) They are a bit on the high side. They will also do all the can before sending you off to a specialist.

Ratings_icons Love Dr. Liz Conger-She is the best!

Barbara D. | insider Insider | Rank: 24,688

Dr.Liz Conger takes care of our five dogs-Cairn Terrier, two Westies, Chihuahua/Terrier and Chow Chow mix along with giving a discount for our Foster Cairn Terriers. She is very sharp and does not try and order unnecessary tests etc. She is so hard working and is reasonable. I have referred many coworkers, friends and others to her. When you visit -the waiting room is so full of interesting people and animals.

Ratings_icons Splendid service.

Virginia T.

On and off for the past 15 years I have taken all of my dogs and cat to Des Moines Veterinary. Even though I live in Tacoma, I made a trip down there to take my new mother dachshund and her brand new litter of puppies there, this week. I should noy have been surprised to be regarded with the utmost importance and welcomed in the warmest manner. I was extremely surprised when the bill came and was reminded that when you go there, you get ten times the amount of comforting service, compared to what you pay.

I truly am going to make this vet my full-time vet, even though I have moved. I recommend Des Moines Vet. for anyone who wants unsurpassed service at an affordable rate.

Ratings_icons Thanks for all the good care

Andrea M.

Dr. Liz Conger is truly an exceptional veterinarian. Her compassion, intelligence, patience and commitment to all her patients welfare, as well as her ability to calm and inform their human owners, make her a doctor without equal. I live 25 minutes away in West Seattle but will not switch to a local clinic because she takes such wonderful care of all my kitties. Thank You.

I drive 35 miles to see this vet. I would only trust my animals to Dr. Conger. I know my animals are in good hands. She is very caring and very knowledgeable. I appreciate her bedside manner with my animals as well as me.

This vet does specialize! This is very good, I had a pet chicken a few years back who has bitten by a dog. She was taken excellent care of. I had a pet rabbit who was attacked by a cat, he seemed to know the rabbit was going to die, but lied about its possibility to live. He said he was going to take him home but did not. I decided to try again a few years later however.

I called up and was put on hold for about 3 minutes. Not horrible, then they seemed very outdated. I was going to get my male cat neutered, the wanted to wait until he was 6 months old! That was recommended many years ago, now it is known the cat can be neutered at 2-3 lbs and is recommended at 3-4 months before sexual maturity to prevent spraying and obesity.

Ratings_icons Best Vet in South King County

Anonymous

I have taken my cat to other vets in the area but usually leave feeling upset from an unfriendly vet or a rude receptionist. At Des Moines Vet clinic, I am always reassured and they are always wonderful and inviting. All of my questions get answered, they are more than reasonably priced in comparison to another clinic in the same area. Dr. Onorotti is the best vet I have ever been to, and I would never take my animals anywhere else.

Ratings_icons Only vet in King County that specializes in birds

Stanton S.

I've been taking my lovebird to see doctor Onorati since 2003. It is to my understanding that he is the only vet in the entire county that specializes in birds. I came here from California and called numerous veterinary clinics and no one had a bird specialist, but numerous vets mentioned doctor Onorati.

He is a compassionate vet and provides excellent care to my bird. I also use them for boarding whenever I travel.

Ratings_icons Awesome Vet

Christi L.

I took my two cats to be declawed and was very nervous, which is an under statement. The male vet was very encouraging and answered all of my questions and eased my concerned. He was very gentle and just really great with my cats. He is very genuine and I will definitely be taking my cats there exclusively. The waiting room was clean, the staff wsa very helpful and nice and I did not have to wait very long to be seen. I continuely called the staff and they were very helpful while I had to wait to bring my pets home, since they keep them there for observation while the pets recover. Also for the service the prices they charge are less expensive then the vets near me I seattle. I highly recommend them and they do board animals if you live far away like myself and do know my animals by name.

Ratings_icons My Puppies! :)

Rachal J.

The waiting room was clean, inviting, if a little small. The receptionist was great with people as well as animals, as was the vetrenarian we saw. I had an appointment with one of the female doctors, and took my two little daschunds in, she saw them simultaneously. She was gentle, thorough with each, and even spent a spare moment playing with the both of them while answering the concerns I possessed about behavior.

Ratings_icons Good place for pets

Lisa M. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,674

This is a nice, clean, and pet friendly place. The staff are all courteous and professional. All wear a friendly smile as well. They are very gentle and caring with your pets. The doctor is knowledgeable and professional also. The prices are a little comparable, but they could be more inexpensive. They arent anything out of the ordinary, but perhaps the fact they are a pet hospital is to be considered. Good vet, they know what they are doing, they are gentle. I recommend them.

This animal hospital is the best I have ever been to. The staff is all very curtious, and will greet you with a smile when you walk through the door. The doctors are great, and could not be friendlier. Not only are they great with "the people" but they were so great with my dog. They were very gentle and took such great care of her. I will continue to go there and take all of my pets there, definantly A+.
