I have a review for ya....3 actually. A friend of mine in spokane wont buy from spaldings because used parts aren't worth new money...you cant compare junkyard prices to a dealers prices, yet this a bargaining chip they use to justify 20.00 off a new GM part. Another friend of mine bought a new radiator promised to be a great replacement for his, it was junk. This radiator didn't work as well as the one that was replaced, he was denied a refund because they couldn't guarantee how it was installed......And now for my turn, TWICE I needed a part and was on a budget, I was promised one thing over the phone and recieved service quite to the contrary. First time I needed a 4x4 actuator for my truck, recieved part,installed, and part failed within specified warranty period. I contacted the guy who sold me the part, he agreed to refund me so I drove over from north idaho to finish the deal. When I got there the guy was unavailible and the man who helped me refused to give me a refund because the wired on tag with part # was gone, he implied that I could've bought that part anywhere. I even had my reciept. I explained that that couldn't possibly matter because the wired on tag could've been moved to a part that was not purchased from them anyway so it's not even a factor. Secondly, I went to spaldings on Christmas eve, and needed 3 parts to fix my broken truck. I happen to be speaking with the General manager with my requests, he was very good to me and promised parts on dec. 28th, that would be priced as he and I talked about, based on my vehicle and the fact that not to many parts are purchased for one of this make and model, that morning I was contacted about parts. Perfect, till now. I went in to pickup parts and was helped by an older man with a beard. When we found the parts that had been taken off thier vehicle per my request, 2 of the three were wrong, no big deal. I asked to be sure that my agreement with the GM of spaldings would be honored, This man completely ignored any thing I had to say and began to quote NEW prices and said that the best they could do would be 125.00 more than I was told. I declined going out to the yard and asked how much just for the part that was correct? I was told 27.00, now I made a comment about it not being a good deal at all and he blew up on me. He proceeded to raise his voice in front of all customers and crew and said: WHY DONT I JUST GIVE IT TO YOU...27.00 IS TO MUCH HUH, WHY DONT YOU JUST TAKE YOUR FREE PART AND LEAVE. I did leave, but not before mentioning that there was no reason to insult me, as I had not insulted him. I now know why spaldings can use these kinds of approaches to thier customers, they think that because thier the only newer vehicle junkyard in the area that poeple dont have choices...not the case at all, there's many places online for new parts, and many more for used parts...and all of them will ship right to your door! I now will tell everyone I know these stories of spaldings and thier customer service traits. I am sure they have already lost 30-40 poeples business with more to learn the TRUTH! It's not advertising that makes a good business, it's a good word from previous customers!

It was on Xmas eve and a deer had just hit my rear quarter panel glass and it was SNOWING COLD that day. I have a sick aunt and my SUV was the only car we had and driving in it over the weekend was not an option. I had called and someone said,"No Can do" for today because they were closing half day today. I was desperate so I went there with my mom in the back with 40mph gust coming into the SUV and I went there in person. I met "jack" ( I forgot his Name) and explained my situation and just so happened there was a part ready to install and he checked with the installer. He said they can squeeze me in, but it'll take 4 hours due to they closed 1/2 day that day. I thought better that than 5 days without a quarter panel glass! So they got it installed and it was done. It was above and beyond the call. The quality was great no leaks and looked better than new. This April, I had my windshield installed and it turned out great. No leaks or anything....another job done again. The only issue I saw was you had to call at least 2 days in advance for installation, and maybe a TV to pass the time, but those were small issues. Would go there again...definitely

I have dealt with Spaldings several times on parts for my truck and my wife's Excursion. Geoff in the internet sales area is really great and so are the other guys! The prices can't be beat, the parts are good and even clean! Shipping is always on time and reasonable and they even upgraded my shipping at no charge once because a part didn't leave on time! That is unheard of customer service in this day and age! I am a repeat buyer and will continue to be one!!

Spaldings is a class act.. I have been able to get the parts I need there for a small fraction of the cost of new ones.. they have about everything you can imagine. I have visited many junk yards over the years. but these guys are top notch.

When my Audi was vandalized, I was apalled how much the funny little piece of glass was going to cost me. In desparation I called Spalding and they were able to locate the part for a fraction of the cost. I made an appointment to go down there and have them install it for me as well. I was so pleased with the service and the price. I could have saved myself from a lot of phone calls and running around by just turning there first. I had a negative perception of what I thought a "car junk yard" would look like. This place changed my perception. Top notch!

Spaulding Auto Parts is the place to go for all you repair needs. The staff are very helpful, not only will they find and get your part, but they can offer several low cost options for instlation (if you ask)
