This is a great place. Perfectly located. Quiet. Great Energy. I have been getting a monthly treatment from Annette for five or six months & she is truly amazing. What could be a very painful experience (waxing) is done quickly, professionally and with great skill. I also use the tanning bed here -- which is always kept clean and stocked with fresh towels, deodorant, etc. I have heard from quite a few people that the massages are amazing here as well. I will plan on adding more treatments and services in the future. I am really glad I found this great place.

I HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER THE ESTHETICIAN TAMI ONLY OFFERED BE COMFORT WHEN IT CAME TO GETTING WAXED. I HAD NEVER DONE IT BEFORE AND I THOUGHT URBAN OASIS WAS RIGHT BY MY WORK I WAS GOIING ON VACTION AND THOUGHT MY HUSBAND WOULD LOVE A SURPRISE. SO GOING IN I WAS NERVOUS BUT WHEN SHE INTRODUCED HERSELF WITH A WARM SMILE SOMETHING ABOUT HER MADE ME FEEL SAFE. THEN WHEN SHE WAS DONE WITH THE WAXING THIS EXPERIENCE IS GOING SO WELL I ASK IF SHE HAD TIME FOR A FACIAL. WELL LUCKY ME SHE DID ALL I MUST SAY IS THE FACIAL WAS AMAZING THE FACIAL MASSAGE WAS THE BEST I EVER HAD ALL I COULD SAY TO HER AFTER WAS WHAT DID YOU DO AND WHEN CAN I COME BACK. I FELT SO RELAX AFTER THE MASSAGE THAT I WAS FEELING SO PEACEFUL SHE REALLY WORK THE MUSCLES IN MY FACE SHE WAS NOT AFRAID TO GET IN THERE ALSO SHE USED SOME PRESSURE POINTS THAT I HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF. ALL I CAN SAY IS IF YOU EVERY GET A CHANCE GO TO URBAN OASIS AND ASK FOR TAMI TRUST ME SHE GIVES YOU A FACIAL THAT YOU WILL REMEMBER AND YOU WILL GO BACK. PLUS I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED WITH HER KNOWLEDGE AND HER ADVICE SHE GAVE ME THERE WAS NO PRESSURE SALES. IT WAS THE 1ST TIME I GOT A FACIAL FROM SOMEONE THAT I DID'NT FEEL SHE WAS JUST GOING THREW THE MOTIONS. THIS LADY IS REALLY PASSIONATE ABOUT HER JOB AND IT SHOWS.

I have been going to Urban Oasis since it was Salon 1520! Even though it has moved locations, its in a ideal location and the spa gets an A+!
It has always been a great and relaxing experience! I get waxed and only takes about 15 minutes to get a 1-3 body parts waxed. I would also say the least painful in comparison to other places like, "Wax On". She is also very sanitary, shes washes her hands before and after each person!
In the 4 years that I've known Annette, she is probably the most caring and compassionate person I've ever met. So if you need a facial or waxing appointment, I highly suggest Annette!

My friend got me one of those circle gift certificates for my birthday and we went together. I made an appointment earlier in the week for a pedicure and a waxing. We arrived ten minutes early only to be told that both of our ladies were running late. My friend's hairdresser showed up in fifteen minutes, but 40 minutes later my lady still wasnt there. Not only did no one offer me a drink or ask me if I was ok, but I could hear the workers laughing. Finally the lady at the desk earlier came by and asked me if I wanted to reschedule, but still didnt ask me if I was thirsty or offer to let me know if the lady was even coming. Another 20 minutes later my friend's hair was done. During the time another girl walked in and was waiting for the same woman. Finally the hairdresser called the lady I was supposed to have and found out she just pulled in! She then preceded to let the girl who arrived after me to go first explaining that my appointment would take longer! She suggested my friend and I got eat lunch! I left very upset. We went back after an hour for my appoinment only for me to wait another 15 minutes. My friend went searching for someone because no one was at the front desk, on a saturday. They went to get my lady. I finally got into the room to get my waxing only to be told she couldnt do it because my hair was too fine. I have had many waxings before without a problem. I said fine and then the woman preceded to take another 20 minutes to gather her belongs for my pedicure. Instead of having an actual pedicure station I was given a footbath you can buy at Walmart to put my feet in. I am going to school for massage therapy the footbaths I make myself in spa class are nicer then this. My pedicure then lasted an hour and forty minutes. During which I heard about all the places this lady was fired from and quit, how dirty she thought the spa was, and about her candian friend who got pregnant on a one night stand. I will never ever go back even if I was paid.

I have been going to Urban Oasis for years and highly recomend it to anyone wanting a relaxing day of beauty. It is a "One Stop" spa where I can get my waxing needs done by Annette who is professional and efficient. My nails done by Becky who makes my polish last longer than any other manicure and pedicure I have ever had. And, Sonja who does an outstanding job on my hair and listens to what I want in a hairstyle and color and excecutes it perfectly. Also, if you want a great massage book with Shirly you won't be dissapointed. Every time I leave Urban Oasis I feel like a million bucks. Keep up the good work ladies.
