Awesome values...at Christmas they had an incredible sale on t-shirts, jackets, and fleece. My wife and I were able to outfit our entire family with new clothes for under $50. The store is clean and well organized except during Christmas where they had boxes of t-shirts everywhere for people to sort through. We have made this store on of our monthly must shop stores.

My family has shopped at Prospector stores for yrs . Now even my Great grand kids shop there. Sure you have to be an informed shopper ,check prices, quality, & dates, but I also do that at the Big Box stores. It has been a Gold Mine for our tight family budgets. You never know when the right sale item might appear, so keep checking back. I have found the clerks to be helpful & willing to double check prices if I ask.

they sell food there but watch out its past its pull date. One time i bought chocolate and there were bugs in it gross, did they pull the rest of the candy off the shelf NO ....they did not even want to give my money back just exchange it for more of the same. The prices and the product use to make up for the crappy customer service BUT NOT ANY MORE

Staff is great, product selection is really interesting, and store manager is wonderful. He very kindly even offered cold water to elderly customers during a recent heat wave. If I could, I'd shop there every week!

PROS: Great store - can't say enough about it
CONS: Can't think of any!

Not that the cashiers are dishonest, but they tend to overlook the week's sale items or markdowns. Just say "aren't code 88 5 for a buck today" and they'll fix it. They are nice about it. The selection isn't what it used to, they've moved to a lot of dollar store crap instead of liquidation stuff, but they still get in some liquidation, especially close-dated or damaged food, which is their best deal.
