I love The Skagit- good gaming options, slots or table games, in a beautiful building that's right off I-5. Dining options are also great, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Free coffee/soft drinks, and the promotional deals for club members can be really good. The payouts aren't bad at all. I especially like the keno room- it's nice to see a casino that devotes enough space to keno machines as well as live keno.

My hubby and I love to get a room here a couple of times a year for the weekend. We leave the kids with their grandparents and go off to have an adults only weekend. We have never been disappointed. The gambling is good, the hotel is superb and the entertainment is always wonderful. It will continue to be a tradition for us to get away from real life by going here.

The Skagit is smaller than the newer Tulalip farther south, but larger than most of the casinos you'll find along the I-5 corridor. Inside you'll find the standard casino tables and machines, along with a bar, buffet, at least one restaurant and a deli. One feature that I particularly enjoy at the Skagit is that every seat at the bar has a video poker game built in, so you can gamble to your heart's content without getting too far from a fresh drink! The Skagit also has some quality shows (past performers include Heart, Chris Isaak and Bill Engvall)--outdoors during the summer. Fun place!
