We've brought many guests here and the other day took a good friend visiting from Iowa where steaks are King. She commented that she hadn't tasted anything like the Filett she ordered anywhere! The veggies and desserts were fabulous and as usual the service was second to none. In fact, the restaurant manager Alberto was extremely helpful with our seating, menu suggestions and assuring that we had a most pleasant experience. In fact, Alberto alone is reason to come back. No rushing to get us out and with easy parking right across the street it's ideal for out of towners. We can't wait for our next visit.

Pros: Steaks, appetiziers, service, real size drinks

It is truly no longer a place to go when you are feeling like a nice dinner anymore. I totally agree with the previous reviews stating that the Argentinian flare is long gone. I couldn't agree more. The food is not what it used to be and neither is staff. It is truly disappointing.

I have been to Buenos Aires Grille quite a few times over the years, but I will not go back again. When you go to an upscale steak house and pay at least $100.00 for a dinner for two, you expect outstanding service, and delicious food. I received neither the last two times we have visited. The entrees took forever to make it to our table and they weren't even busy. Our server was busy making conversation with the "street" people that walked into the restaurant then serving us essentials like, ummm water! We were not impressed at all.

Pros: not a thing

Cons: everything

This restaurant should be condemned. I had plans of throwing a party here on Valentines Day, and we ended up canceling for a few reasons. One, we came in just for a try out dinner, and was not impressed at all. Just the vibe of the restaurant, and the service is very rushed and unprofessional. Then, the food was not very appealing. To top it off, we came back during the daytime/late afternoon to talk to the staff about our concerns, and the restaurant was a mess. There were flies swarming over dirty dishes and when I looked down, there were two mice traps by the bar. Needless to say, we never booked our party.

short and sweet: I used to be a fan of buenos aires grill back when they had the Argentinian owners, now ever since the asian owners took over this restaurant has gone down hill! The food quality is down the toilet and the service is atrocious. The Argentinian feel is gone, and now it looks more like Azteca mexican restaurant

After reading several reviews of Buenos Aires grill over the years I thought it was time to check it out. I always had a weird feeling about the place...(connected to Whiskey Bar the least of my worries). I read Laura and Max's review of BA and thought well it cant be that bad OH IT WAS. Its not that the food is bad its just the people were very unfriendly and the restaurant was boring due to the characters they had present. As a long time resident in Belltown I could not have been more embarrassed for the good people who worked there. Unfortunately we were dealt a shitty hand. Simply put for steak...go to Queen City Grill, El Gaucho or Daniels Broiler...Buenos Aires Grill is a piece that will eventually get kicked.

I have heard of the great dancing that comes along with buenos aires grill, and have heard some mixed things about the restaurant. We came on a very busy night, and did not have a good time. We were very rushed by our server. Everyone seemed to be running around like crazy, but didn't look like much was getting done. Our server did a horrible job, and seemed to forget about us most of the night. Our food took over an hour and I wasn't empressed. Will not be back, that is for sure

Reason's I love the Buenos Aires Grill:

1) The tango show - very romantic (they dance on the bar!)
2) The private room in the back (fits like 20 people) is great for a birthday or bachelorette party since the Whiskey Bar is right next door.
3) The staff are amazing. The bartender is a super cutie (Jackie) but the manager is the real treat. He daylights as a trainer and has rock hard biceps that are almost as delicious as the steak.

Pros: Hottest tango show!

There is a place that is dimly lit with seductive lighting, the smells of savory meats and wines fill the air. Around 8:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, a pair will seduce with the Tango. This place is where I like to go with my beau for a total wining and dining experience. Request a booth where you and your significant other can sit closely side by side to observe the restaurant's scene. Sharing a steak mixed grill paired with a fine red wine, preferably a Malbec, and your senses will be treated! Buenos Aires is Argentina right in the heart of Seattle. The staff sets the initial tone of this intimate establishment, the atmosphere leaves you feeling seduced. For a romantic night on the town in which includes delicious cuisine, wine, and entertainment; Buenos Aires will please.

Pros: Cuisine from Argentina, superb steaks, LIVE Tango

Cons: Book ahead, this place gets packed on Friday and Saturdays

I have never received such horrible service and overly priced food in my life. They call this an Argentinian restaurant? Give me a break, this is the farthest thing from it. I want to go to have a nice meal where the people that work there look like they enjoy their jobs, and the clientele look like they are having a great time, here though, everyone looked frustrated and unhappy

When the Buenos Aires grill first opened up it was the best place ever. Being a true Argentinean I had finally found my little piece of heaven. However, it all changed tonight. It had been a few years since I had been to the Buenos Aires grill and tonight I wanted to take my family there for my 33rd birthday. I can honestly say I was sorry I took them. When we got there the atmosphere was unfriendly, hurried, and annoying. The restaurant had lost that authentic Argentinean restaurant feel that it used to have. Once our waiter got there we started to order appetizers and he started to look annoyed because we weren??t choosing fast enough. One of the appetizers we order were Chorizos? what we got was spicy sausage. That was a far off from actual Chorizo that I??ve ever had. Johnsonville Brat??s would have been a better choice. Once we wanted to order our meals they were out of almost everything we ordered. They didn??t have some of the most popular items like Milanesa, Bife the Chorizo, Churrasco de Lomo, and flan. How can you be out of Milanesas? Then when I ordered something to drink I asked the waiter what kind of beers they had and the only thing he said was ??...we have Mac & Jack on tap?. Granted I like Mac & Jack, but he couldn??t even offer an Argentinean beer like Quilmez? As it stands the rest of the night didn??t get any better. The desert, panqueques de dulce de leche were passable but that was all. As I said the Buenos Aires grill has lost it??s Argentinean flare. I will never visit the restaurant again, nor will I recommend it to anyone I know.

THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST PLACES I HAVE EVER WASTED MY MONEY ON. FIRST OF ALL, THEY CROWD YOU INTO TABLES THAT ARE NOT EVEN A FOOT FROM ANOTHER TABLE, SO YOU HAVE NO PRIVACY WHAT SO EVER. THEN, ALL THEY HAVE ARE SPANISH EMPLOYEES THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND WHEN SPEAKING. AS YOU SIT THERE, IT IS LIKE WATCHING A CIRCUS SHOW WITH THE EMPLOYEES! I WAS ACTUALLY PRETTY ENTERTAINED WHILE WAITING OVER AN HOUR FOR OUR MEAL. THE WAITER WAS SCREAMING AT ANOTHER EMPLOYEE IN SPANISH AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR TABLE! YOU DON'T HAVE TO SPEAK SPANISH TO KNOW THEY WERE FIGHTING. THE WAITRESS HE WAS YELLING AT LOOKED LIKE SHE WAS CRYING.WE WERE GOING TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER, BUT HE LOOKED BUSY. HE WAS MAKING DRINKS AT THE BAR. ANYWAYS, THIS PLACE IS RIDICULOUSLY OVER PRICED FOR WHAT WE GOT. THE SILVERWARE AND GLASSWARE WERE DIRTY, AND THEY RESTAURANT OVERALL LOOKED DIRTY. WE WILL NOT BE COMING BACK THAT IS FOR SURE, NOT EVEN FOR THE CIRCUS SHOW!

I don't normally write these but after reading all the recent crappy reviews I felt that I should. I hadn't been here for about a year so when I was planning a special birthday dinner and read all the recent reviews - I was a little nervous about going again. Luckily, all that crap was unfounded. From my experience, nothing has changed. The atmosphere was still great and the service was attentive and friendly. The steak lived up to my memories - still the best tasting and most perfectly cook piece of meat I've ever had in a restaurant. The wine, the mashed potatoes, the bread & dips - all divine! It was a perfect evening and I'm so glad that I didn't let those reviews sway me. I can't wait to go back and I'll continue to recommend this place to everyone I know!

Cons: None that I can think of

I was excited to visit the Buenos Aires Grill based on our love of Argentian food and what appeared to be a good place to celebrate my husbands birthday on a Saturday night. I made a dinner reservation 2 weeks beforehand and assumed we were all set. What was strange was that when I called the restaurant the phone call appeared to be forwarded to someone's cell phone and he was answering it while driving. The person who answered the phone sounded like he was in management, possibly the owner. Well - he never wrote down our reservation.

We showed up at our assigned time and there wasn't a table in the main dining room to be had. The hostess was nice, but we weren't able to be seated in the dining room even though 2 tables were empty. Spending this much money to sit in the bar seemed crazy to me. So - sadly - we had no where to eat to celebrate my husband's birthday. We ended up getting steaks at QFC and cooking them ourselves at 10pm.

It was really disappointing and had never had this happen before with so little help from the restaurant to make the situation better, especially on a special occassion like a birthday.

I'm argentinean, moved to the US in 2002 and since then I have been trying to find good argentine restaurants that would be truthful to the argentine way of cooking. Buenos Aires Grill was my latest find and I feel I should share my experience with you.

Pros:
* Tango dancers were really good and entertaining, even danced on the bar!
* Service was attentive and our glasses were refilled constantly

Cons:
* Food is "way" overpriced, a milanesa (breaded chicken) was $27!!!; two rather small "fried" empanadas were $9 and the list keeps growing...
* There was something that really cranked our gears and it was the "small print" at the bottom of the menu that read: "On tango nights (Friday and saturday) a minimun purchase of $30 per person is required... so if you were planing on getting a salad, now you were FORCED to order something else to reach your QUOTA; so we had two options: to get up after we received our drinks and walk away or to stay and hope the food was worth it... sadly we stayed...
* It took 25mins to get our appetizers, a "cold" morcilla (blo od sausage) and 4 small overlyfried empanadas (which with the time they took they could have baked them like most argentineans do!)
* My milanesa was covered with super thick ham and "tons" of olives.. argentine style??? , the chiken was overpowered by the tick breading layer and on top of that once again FRIED. I make milanesas quite often at home and believe me everybody was hoping I was serving food that night... he he

Once again, we stayed in hopes the food was worth it since we don't mind paying for quality food, but at the end of the night we felt ripped off. I normally don't write reviews but I wanted to make sure other patrons don't think this place serves AUTHENTIC ARGENTINE CUISINE, I am still trying to find such place and I will make sure to post a review as soon as I find it.

Good luck everybody!

When I walk into the Buenos Aires Grill, I am greeted by this crazy delicious aroma of grilled meat and the din of people chatting, a relaxed and always friendly community of regulars who cannot stay away, and the newly discovered who are always welcomed.
Immediately I think of the wine I will have with my grilled steak. Never have I had a steak like this.
Often before I move or take another step I am greeted by the Manager, Latin, welcoming smile, and little bravado, a consummate professional.
Since they opened 6 or so years ago, my husband and I have been going to this get away, this little piece of Buenos Aires,
It is not just the tango dancers who glide around the dining room, or the music that has everyone swaying, or the great food, and yet it has to be all of those things, but one of the most important things to us is the manager and how he and his staff responds to his guests. It is the professional service amidst the friendly banter they all share with the diners, old and new- that is really what surprises me each time. Everyone is made to feel welcome and know that their dining experience will be excellent. Our evening is in good hands.
We sit back and do as we would in Buenos Aires, where time quickly slips away while great food and conversation is happening all around us, and take it all in- and we do.

I owe Buenos Aires and its manager Alberto overdue kudos. In October we had my Mom's 72nd birthday dinner there. The food was great, they were very accomodating, and we had a fun night. My Mom died in January and we held her Celebration of Life at Buenos Aires. Alberto was again extremely accomodating - they opened early for our event and came up with a menu of fabulous food that was within our budget. We have been back several times for dinner or just drinks and appetizers (Jackie in the bar is great, too). Our kids love the fries and the tango dancers. This has become our favorite place for an evening out.

My friend made reservations for 6 to celebrate a friends birthday party. The owner (Alberto) was very nice and friendly when we arrived. After awhile we started to feel tension between him and our table. When we asked for napkins or utinsils for our other friends he did it like he was being forced. Since we had patiently waited for our food for over and hour we decided to nicely ask how much longer it was going to take, his answer was, "thats your problem not mine." He was incredibly rude. We decided to take off. We were waiting by the exit to pay for our drinks and the owner had the nerve to say "whats going on why are you guys leaving?" , he didn't apologize or anything. The birthday boy answered, "we don't deserve to be treated this way." The owner rudly yelled at us saying we better pay for our drinks. We paid and left. We didn't even see our food and will never go back. I really wish we would have had a better experience. If Alberto is the owner he is incredibly rude and impolite and doesn't give any personality to the restaurant.

This used to be my favorite steakhouse in Seattle. We haven't been there in a while-but we have referred others. We finally went and WOW what a disappointment. The service was awful, how can you have servers, busboys, managers, hostesses and who knows who else on the floor and you have to beg for the simple things like napkins, bread and water. The meat was bland, the meal was poorly timed, and the salad, which used to be my favorite side was the worst. It is so sad when restaurants cheap-out lower their quality, and poorly train their staff. The table next to us never even got their dinner! And on the other side they sat staring at empty glasses and their empty appetizer plate for over 1/2 hour! I doubt I will ever go back there-yes the atmosphere hasn't changed and it still has a great vibe but with too many other steakhouses downtown to choose from with much better service and food why bother wasting your night.

Buenos Aires Experience Cliff Notes:

- I asked for a soda refill and it took 35 minutes
- I asked for a Medium Rare New York Streak and got Medium Well
- The cooked vegatables were over cooked
- My steak had been sitting for a few minutes because it was cool before I recieved it
- The steak was very fatty and was low grade "nebraska corn fed USA choice" at best.
- The server took 12 minutes to comeback to the table, after he dropped off our food, to see how we were doing.
- I recieved 1 soda refill during the 2 hours and 45 minutes I was there.

- I recieved 1 soda refill during the 2 hours and 45 minutes I was there.

i dont really tend to write any reviews, but i sure do read them all the time. I always like trying out new restaraunts. I can honestly say that my exeperience at buenos aires grill was exceptional from start to finish. I had a large party of 20 people for my birthday and they were very pleasant to deal with and the staff was very curteous and prompt and the food was really something else. I have been there before and everything was great but i kinda expected with such a large party that we may run into difficulties but everything went very smooth. Everyone enjoyed the food and we all had a great time. By the way about half the people ordered the filet but i had the skirt steak and it was very good.

The most delicious steaks my family has ever had! My daughter had the ravioli and that was divine, too. The service could not have been friendlier or more efficient. This was a perfect dining experience. Can't wait to go back with friends!

I've been going to this restaurant for several years and the food has been consistently good to great. Service can vary, but the overall experience has been good enough that I don't hesitate to bring guests, which is usually my acid-test. Prices have gone up over time but the portions are very ample. If you've never had it before, screw up your courage and try the morcilla (blutwurst) or better yet the molleja (grilled sweetbreads-thymus, actually) for a real appetizer treat.

Beware, there was a bitter ownership split a few years back and it appears that each side is writing either over-the-top positive reviews or bitter negative ones on citysearch. Check out the profiles of the reviewers and you'll find that most have "reviewed" nothing else...A sure sign they're bogus.

I've heard such great things about Buenos Aires Grill and until now have not had the opportunity to experience this amazing restaurant. I love trying out new places to eat and this is now one of my favorites. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and were seated right away. We did make reservations of course, as from what we heard this is a very up and coming spot. The customer service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and had great suggestions on the wine. We started off with the calamari as an appetizer then to the filet minon which was absolutely PERFECT! The mustard sauce is to die for! The tango dancers were very entertaining especially when they got up and danced on the bar! This restaurant is the perfect spot for a night on the town, dinner with friends or family, or a romantic date with your significant other.

Cons: Very Busy, Reservations next time

I didn't like the food, it really was out of Argentina's style, I think the owner and cook are from Mexico, It is like a Italian cooks a Chinese food. so this not match. So the steak was so stiff and too garlic for my taste and my table was so close to the bar that it was so uncomfortable for me looking at the bottom back of the people.

Reservations were made at the Buenos Aires grill on Virginia Ave in Seattle for 5PM on Thanksgiving, 2007. We asked for sure that they would be open, and were told YES, by all means. We originally made the reservation for 2 at 5 PM on Thanksgiving day, for my oldest son and I. I talked with my youngest son shortly after and was told his plans may change, and he may want to join us for dinner. We Called the restaurant a SECOND time, to change the reservation for 3 people, double checking that they were in fact open on Thanksgiving, as so many restaurants are closed, and were told again, by another person "by all means, we are open" so we had our Thanksgiving Dinner out all planned... until we drove all the way to downtown Seattle, went to the Restaurant and found it dark and locked up. We waited until well after our reservation time and nothing. They said they would open as usual at 5PM and at 5:!5 they were still dark and locked up, with no one inside. We had to try to find a place to eat at 5PM on Thanksgiving day becuase of their poor business practice and customer Service. Or did they just LIE to us? OH. the address in their advertizing is wrong also, they are at 220 Virginia Ave. not 2000, or 2200 or 2028 depending on what website you look at.

Buenos Aires Grill was one of my favorite date restaurants. I recently went back to check it out and found it to be quite lacking. I knew something was up when I asked for the Argentinean beer they served and was told they didn't have any. I ordered an appetizer at the bar (calamari) which was one of the worst I have ever had. I then sat down at a table for dinner and started questioning our waitress. She told me that the ownership had changed a year ago and that my favorite Tango dancers (present dancers were lack luster at best.) had left for a job in Cirque de Soleil in Japan. I was ready to just get up and leave at this point but decided to order a meal and see what else had changed. Everything we ordered was sub par except the Filet Mignon which was outstanding as it had been in the past. For the present I would avoid Buenos Aires Grill until they get their act together.

With two kids (3 & 6), busy work and activity schedules - sound familiar....My wife and I found ourselves on Friday evening without our kids...looking for something special and somewhat familiar to us coming from Mexico and spending time in Buenos Aires. We were truly impressed and highly recommend the Buenos Aires Grill, the name says it all. having visited other touted Argentine restaurants in the city.....nothing compared to the extraordinary service, from our well mannered hostess, waitstaff, service and recommendations, above all the surprise when we were told there is live tango dancing around the tables....very nice.

The food was delicious, the meat cooked to our preference. The portions a bit on large size, we know now for next time and you must try the sweet potatoe fries.

5 stars......and we'll be telling our friends!

My girlfriends and I went to the Buenos Aires grill for a bachelorette party on Saturday night and had the best time ever. Our server arranged for the bachelorette to dance the tango with one of the professional tango dancers, it was great. We didnt know a whole lot about the wine or food there but our waitress recommended the best wine and meal I've ever had. Then she sent over a cocktail(compliments of the owners) for the bachelorette also. Our food was wonderful the steaks were cooked to perfection. It just goes to show that anyone can serve you food or own an establishment, but it take a place with real uniqueness and people who care to make a dinner special. I will definetly come back to Buenos Aires and will also recommend this place to friends.

I was at this resteraunt on Saturday for dinner with my family before my grand daughters play wich was across the street. I must say that I've definetly had better service, but the food was great. We were in a little bit of a time crunch, and we were a fairly large group, but before we sat down our server said that wouldnt be a problem since we were the so early in the evening. but it took forever to even recieve our drinks. when we finally ordered our food we didnt have a whole lot of time left before the show started. I asked the waitress if we would have enough time and how long it was going to take and she very rudely informed me that "I was not the only person in the restreraunt that she was waiting on" I found her comments to be extremely rude and snide. I really hope this place finds emplyees a little wiser next time. The food was good and all the other wait staff seamed very nice.

my mom was in town so I took her here to enjoy some food like home - being from argentina I have eaten argentinean restaurants all over the world and another one (now closed) in seattle and this was by far the worst! They put us three adults and a toddler by the tightest loudest place right by the bar and then complained if our toddler went near the bar. The whole back is area is right by the kitchen and not well ventilated at all so it was about 90 back there. The service was awful. It was slow and unfriendly - when my mom told them in a thick accent she was from argentina (She is proud) they sneered and said nothing else - they knew nothing about how the food was made and were slow in their return and were all too quick to clean up before we were done. The food itself would have been ok for a much cheaper price but nothing compared to most restaurants inside and outside of argentina. their humita empanada was half decent but their meat empanada was bland and completely non-authentic and clearly poor quality meat. We ordered beef ribs and new york strip. the beef ribs were ok but pretty good workout for the teeth some better marinating and tenderizing would have helped. The new york was awful - i don't think it was a new york and it tasted livery. their sweet potatoe fries were real good and so was their creamed spinach (better be for $8 a pop) their argentinean chorizo was groce by any standard and entirely unauthentic. In short there are countless better ways to spend minimum $100 for 2-3 people in many other places in seattle. maybe this place was better when it was actually owned by argentineans but now it is a big waste of money!!!

I had the best time at this resteraunt last night. I had read some of the reviews on city search and I have to say, I found the service was wonderful, the food was extrordinary, and the whole vibe of the place was great. I was a little reluctant to come here after reading the reviews of the long waits and the not so great service, but this place came highly recommended by a good friend of mine so I thoght I'd give it a try. I was pleasanly surprised. we arived and went to the bar for mojitos that were the best I've ever had, then the hostess showed us to our table where we were greated by our waitress, she was very warm and has a great personality for working with the public. overall, great food, great experience

Attended a birthday party at the Buenos Aires Grill this weekend. The invitation advertised delicious meats and Tango dancing, so I was looking quite forward to it. Unfortunately, the terrible service made the evening less than perfect and most of the guests left with a bad impression that had little to do with the food.

When we arrived, we were immediately seated by our hostess at the tables we had reserved for our party. So far so good. The rest of the party came in over the next 30 minutes, a few tried ordering drinks (which never came). The same waiter who wasn't bringing back the drinks people ordered also failed to bring menus after being asked 4 or 5 times. We sat for over an hour before ever being able to order and with nothing to drink. Not even our water glasses were refilled (which made eating the tasty salsa and bread a bad idea).

Fed-up (and hungry), I went up to the front and asked another waiter to help us. 10 minutes later, we finally got menus and a new waitress. People re-ordered drinks and she slowly but surely brought them. Most importantly, we were finally able to order food.

During the next hour, we waited for our meal and enjoyed the two tango dancers twirling around the extremely cramped restaurant. One danced with the birthday girl, which she enjoyed. We made jokes about the bad service with fellow patrons at the next table who wanted to pay their bill and leave but couldn't find their waiter either.

The food arrived and was good. Even though we wanted some, no one at the table was brave enough to order coffee or dessert (nearly 3 hours into the evening, we feared we'd be there all night if we ordered it) so we asked for the bill. Delivering the check took another 35 minutes and when it arrived, it had to be sent back because of errors.

Overall, the food was good, but I don't think I'd be willing to endure the service again to get another plate of it. Avoid this place unless you've got endless patience.

Parrillada (mixed grill) for four brought what must have been eight pounds of meet to the table, including hangar steak, chicken breast, sausage, short ribs, and on and on - served atop an hibachi with still smoldering wood direct from the grill. Unbelievable! Rest assured though, sheer mass was not the selling point - all of the meat was wonderfully tender and cooked to perfection. After having tried more traditional steak houses in Seattle (Metropolitain and Daniel's Broiler), with great disappointment, I can easily say that Buenos Aires Grill would be my choice any night of the week. Oh, and by the way, the accompanying french fries are some of the best I've had too. I guess the bottom line is that they might not be fancy, but they do what they do very, very well.

The firefighters in Lynnwood had a great experience at the Buenos Aires Grill. It was delightful and unforgettable. My steak was so tender that I cut it with my fork. The sauce that they make is so good, I've never had something like that in my life. The desserts were delicious and they have the best mohitos in town! The service was also great, we had a large party and the servers always paid attention to our needs and the manager went out of his way to provide us the room and the tango dancers. His knowledge of wine was fantastic and amazing. He always had a smile and was very friendly. The atmosphere was classy and comfortable. I would recommend this for large or small parties. I can't wait to go back again.

The service and the food was so bad that it compelled me to write my first Citysearch review. In my travels, Argentine cuisine is one of the best (and least celebrated) cuisines in the world. Food & wine in that county is tasty, fresh and very inexpensive. Ate here last night and found everything sub-par. The meat was of poor quality (to the point where I had to "s p i t" pieces that I could not chew through into my napkin) -- and this included the $27 tenderloin. The service was also very poor. We had to wait for our table even when it was cleared and ready for us -- and after we'd already waited about 30 minutes with a reservation. We were asked 3 times about water when seated -- but no one brought it to us until the end of the meal! And the complaint I have the rude bartender who overcharged me for my drinks (the other bartender charged me LESS for the same drink) and was plain, flat out rude. The one thing that we can never figure out is why are the bartenders so nasty. I mean flat out rude. It is as if they are angry that there are customers in the bar.

Cons: Poor service, Bad food

If overpriced, mediocre food and absent-minded service is what you're looking for, then Buenos Aires Grill fits the bill. If not, don't waste your time or money here. A much-too-spicy garlic, basil and olive oil condiment is served with a truly boring french bread that is likely bought in garbage bag-sized quantities at a warehouse store somewhere. The service was shoddy. Not only were we repeatedly bumped into by the waiters as they passed by, but the person who refilled our drinks continually asked, "Is that water?" Buenos Aires Grill has definitely earned a position on my list of restaurants to avoid.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I loved the tango, music, food, and the servers. The owner seemed really nice it was very busy but he had the time to greet me. The restaurant is so pretty and very cozy. My favorite food was everything but i really loved the filet mignon! The waiters were very nice and served me and my family very well :)! Seattle has really great restaurants there like Buenos Aires Grill!!!

Pros: Ambience, Kids had fun, Pretty Decor

Cons: Nuthin :)

Ambiance: Upon entering the place you feel like Morticia Adams will appear out of the dark corners any moment to replace the wax dripping candelabra in the middle of the table.... instead you get a very curt hostess who makes it clear that Spanish is not spoken here... Food Quality: The skirt stake had not been trimmed, chunks of fat dripped from the edge, it also had a strong cumin flavor. The grass fed sirloin was fairly tender and properly cooked, if it wasn?t for the heavy rosemary aroma that permeated it and hid the flavor of the meat it would have been enjoyable. Asian Owner, Mexican Bartender, American Server, nobody from Argentina ??
A true Argentine restaurant? Not.

This was my first time venturing out to a "new" steakhouse, than to my normal Metropolitan Grill, Mortons, Ruth's Chris restaurants. According the the reviews it was a great restaurant and "authentic".

The evening started out great with calamari appetizers and a nice bottle of red wine! Then the entrees came out and that's when it reached rock bottom!

In a party of 4 we each ordered 4 different cuts of steak, porterhouse, filet mignon, ribeye and new york. Everything tasted so BLAND! I thought that Argentinians used spices and marinades with their cooking! Even the shrimp scampi that came with the filet had no taste to it! We ALL asked for steak sauce but they had none available, apparently they ran out of any steak sauce along with the spices to season our steaks with! No one at the table was happy! There was more flavor and taste in the calamari than any of our entrees and side dishes.

Our bill still came to $190 dollars, and nothing was discounted when we even spoke to someone who seemed like a "manager"! We have all agreed that we will never again return to this restaurant or recommend this restaurant to anyone!

If you ever think that you would want to try this place out, please think twice because we all seriously think that Outback Steakhouse would have been better!

I don't know too much about what Argentinean foods taste like or the atmosphere of an Argentinean restaurant. But what I can say is with absolutely 100% certainty that the food was excellent. Service was very good as well and those wooden plates, I thought they were placemats. Boy was my face red when a waiter told me they were plates. But all in all, very good place and excellent experience. I am going again and this time, I am going to use those wooden plates.
